"Cannot connect to the network." When you enter the correct password for wireless network
Hello
I have the HP Photosmart C7200 all-in-One series.
This seems relatively insignificant compared to some of the problems posted here, but nevertheless it is a problem. I have a Verizon FiOS (Actiontec) router. I am trying to connect to it wireless; the network key is using WPA authentication. I followed all the instructions in the quick start guide.
My printer detects my network and application authentication key. I enter the correct key, the printer is trying to establish a connection, but after about 15 to 25 seconds, I get the error message, "cannot connect to the network. I know that my key is correct; I connect to my router very well through several laptops, PDA, etc. I have reset the settings network default manufacturer and tried without success.
I don't know what kind of trouble shooting I'm supposed to do here. The printer detects the router (albeit low signal strength) whenever I try to connect, I enter the password each time and I get the error each time.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Edit: I printed the test report wireless network, here are the results:
Radio on PASS
The radio work PASS
Ethernet cable not plugged in PASS
Network name (SSID found) PASS
Security PASS
The printer settings compatible with the configuration of the wireless router PASS
No filtering IN CASE OF FAILURE
Connected Not work
The signal strength Very low
Other networks detected matching you the network name (SSID) NO.
I know this sounds strange, but try changing channel by channel 11 of the wireless router.

Comments Win XP cannot connect to the network when Cisco VPN works on Mac
Guest OS (Win XP) on the merger connects to the network, no problem. However, when I start a Cisco VPN on my Mac (not in the guest operating system) and then start Fusion/guest OS, the guest cannot connect to the network.
I was able to use this configuration for a year on an old MacBook Pro (unibody). Last month, I got a new MacBook Pro and flying over my virtual machine image. I don't check for a few weeks. I'm sure I fly over the image correctly because everything else seems OK or if the IT guys doing something to block my traffic over the VPN.
Config
-Fusion - Version 3.1.0 (261 058)
-Mac - 10.6.4
So far, I have tried the following
-started to merge and XP without VPN on Mac - OK (bridge autodetect)
-launched VPN to work, and then launched Fusion - no network
-tried ipconfig/release, ipconfig / renew - not always no network
-tried NAT - do always no network
Thanks in advance. For any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Bernie
The NAT value and then restart the virtual machine. Works for me with the VPN client built into a cisco router.
Do not work the real on 10.6.4 cisco software unless you really need to.

Printer cannot connect to the network
Hello
I have a photosmart HP 5510 printer - connected to 2 laptops. Everything worked fine until I finally made a secure network and has not worked since. I tried add the mac address of the router and all kinds of things and have no idea what to do next. Any suggestions? I can go as far as to put in my ssid and password in the printer connect but still says 'unable to connect to the network.
OK, more ideas. Remove encryption between the router and connect the printer. From the front of the printer to allow Web Services and see if there is an update for the printer. Leave it to update.
When it's done, re - activate the encryption on the router and try again. It may be a bug in the firmware in the printer (although I doubt - he would have caught in tests). I still think that his router, but...

HP6700 on (blue) antenna wifi but cannot connect to the network
HP6700 was working, now no airprint. In settings, it says unable to connect to the internet. I reinstalled wifi using WPS and have a blue light on the antenna. On Ipad, it says printer is in "idle" mode. How can he wake up?
Printer files network It is a solution copied from a previous post of Provost.
First do the following:
- Print a printer wireless network Test report
- Print a Page of Setup network printer
Possible solutions:
- Move the printer to be closer to the router if the wireless network Test report indicates the intensity of the signal is "Very low" or "Low".
- Move the printer away from the router if currently less than 1 m (3 ft.).
- Look at the last page of the Network Configuration Page. Near wireless networks appears along with the channels they use. Together, the channel of your router to channel 1, 6 or 11 according to the proximity of other channels are and how many networks use each channel. Having other channels of network near your (less than 5 channels) is not good. Using a channel that is heavily used by other networks is also not good. Do not use the setting "Auto" from the channel on the router.
- Change the width of your router to 20 MHz channel (or 54 Mbit/s). Do not use 40 MHz (or 300Mbps) parameters or 20/40 MHz (Auto).
- If the wireless network Test report indicates 'more than a wireless router was found which corresponds to your wireless network (SSID)... name ', try changing the name of your network in your router to something unique.
Note: you will need to reconnect all the wireless devices that connect to your network using the new network name.
- Make sure that the "Auto off" function of the printer is disabled. If this feature is enabled, the printer turns OFF after a period of inactivity.
- If you use an Extender 'Wireless' to extend the wireless signal, try turning it off to see if the problem goes away.
- If you still have questions, set a static IP address on the printer. This can be done using the Home Page (EWS of the printer) or from the Panel on many models of printer printers. Several models of printers have a feature 'suggests the IP address. Use this feature if you are not sure what setting to use IP address.
Note: you may need to use the "" Update IP address"utility provided by the printer software to update the software with the new IP address.
Please let me know if it helps.

Photosmart HP 7510: hp Photosmart 7510 says it cannot connect to the network
I can still print to the printer wireless to my computer, but when I try to FAX directly from my all-in-one he says that it is not connected to the network.
When I check the settings, it IS connected.
I had this printer/FAX/scanner for several years now and never had this problem. I did not make any changes.
I have unplugged it & tried... still can't FAX. But I CAN always print it from my PC.

LaserJet p2015 on XP cannot share on the network, Windows 8
I have a computer running Windows XP with the installed printer P2015. With another computer running windows 8, I can find the printer on the network, but I can't find the drivers. I tried to install the printer directly on the Pc running windows 8, and it worked perfectly, without any driver. And when I installed it on XP, it did not work and asked a pilot.
What can I do?
After installing on the computer of windows 8, access the properties of the printer, and then choose the ports add port and when the box to put in the xp computer name and the name of the computer on this machine sharing. Use of the form \\computername\sharename save settings. Movement back of the printer to the Windows xp computer and see if now works now.

P1102w - cannot reconnect to the network
I can't reconnect my printer laser p1102w to the network, or my system. When I connect the USB port on my laptop, it attempts to save the connection, but does not a drive letter or anything like that. I downloaded the latest installer. When I try to add the printer and set it up for wireless access, nothing happens. When I try to add and configure to access usb, installation product until he asks for the usb connection, how does not "meet" the printer when I plugged it. (Yes, I tried several ports) I tried the 'doctor' and he seems to be satisfied with it as a usb connection. However, I don't know how to get connected to the net. Is it possible to do this simply?
Salvation for the end user.
I see that you are having a problem with put the printer on the network again.
I'll be happy to help you.
I would like to reset the printer first to clear the previous network settings.
Turn the printer off, press and hold the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer on and do not release both buttons until the printer stops making the noise.Print a configuration report and check the SSID address and IP are disabled.
(hold down the x key and when the printer makes a noise to let go of taken)After the reset, unplug the router power cable, wait 10 seconds, then reconnect the power cable.
Wait, it's ready.
Because the USB connection does not work now, unplug the USB cable.
Run uninstall from the CD or the program files.
Here are the steps to run the uninstall of the computer or the CD.
To uninstall program files:
Go to start and select a computer.
Select the C drive.
Select the program files or program files x 86.
Open the HP name and printer folder.
Select uninstall.
Uninstall from the CD:
Go to start, computer,
Make a left click Open in a new window, right click on the printer CD, double click on uninstall.
Run the Setup again and do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted to configure the wireless again.
Test the printer.
I would setup an IP address from the printer so that it does not happen in the future.
Printer keeps not WiFi. Proceed to Solution 4: assign your printer a static IP address.
What operating system do you use? How to find the Windows Edition and the Version on your computer.
Please let me know if you need additional assistance.
Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

Z10 blackBerry cannot connect to the network mobile/phone on Z10
Please, I am unable to connect to the mobile network. cannot make or receive calls.
whenever I restart the unit on Black berry z10, it resets the date and time of the year 2015 instead of the year 2016.
It has been a challenge after that my camera has been upgraded to 10.3.2.2836
Please I need your help
As a last resort, I would use an autoloader to reload the operating system. If this does not work after that then it is a hardware failure, or the device is not compatible with the networks in your area. Assuming that this worked before and suddenly left leads me to believe that it's a hardware problem.

Windows 7 Pro cannot connect to the network when idle too long (large company)
We have approximately 75 users on Windows 7 Professional. About two weeks ago (and the next day, Windows updates have been deployed to all PCs in our outside IT), the vast majority of users (but not all) have started to have a problem in what they can connect first thing in the morning; However, they immediately get an error that are not connected to the network, that network drives can be connected, they cannot access the internet, etc. A reboot solves problems and the problem will not recur until the computer is left idle during the night. Our outside IT says that what is happening on several client sites that they manage, but they have no idea of the cause; they are theorizing that it's maybe a botched Windows Update. I have Windows 7 Pro at home and did not have the problem once. Any suggestions appreciated.
This issue is beyond the scope of this site and must be placed on Technet or MSDN -
I have problems to access the resources within the network when connecting with the Cisco VPN client for a version of 8.4 (3) operation of the IOS Cisco ASA 5510. I tried all new NAT 8.4 orders but cannot access the network interior. I can see traffic in newspapers when ping. I can only assume I have NAT evil or it's because the inside interface of the ASA is on the 24th of the same subnet as the network interior? Please see config below, any suggestion would be appreciated. I configured a VPN site to another in this same 5510 and it works well

Config looks good - just as domestic mine to my local network. The only thing I can think is that you may have entered commands in the wrong order - which means, you could have isakmp or encryption before the config map was complete. Write memory, then reloading the pix is a way to reset everything. If you do not want downtime:
mymap outside crypto map interface
ISAKMP allows outside
Enter these two commands should be enough to reset the ipsec and isakmp.
