Canon IP2600 driver and Windows 8

Hello world

I tried to download the driver for Canon printer from various reputable sources, online and I get an error message that indicates that the driver is for 32-bit layout only and cannot run on my current system.

Does anyone know what I can try to get my printer to download for Windows 8?

Thanks in advance for the help & Jolly happy Christmas holiday...

  • How do I dual boot windows 7 a physical drive and windows server 2008 R2 to a second drive

I bought a new 'high-end' and want to leave the current WIndows 7 Home Premium (64 bit), as is.  I want to install a second drive hard and on this new drive, install WIndows Server 2008 R2 so that I can run hyper-v.  I know I have to edit the BCDEDIT, but EVERYWHERE I look for help on this subject, he refers to a virtual hard disk... I don't want to run Server 2008 from a virtual hard disk... but rather a native installation.  Is this possible... If yes HOW?  I know he's probably changed since the days of WIndows 2000 and WIndows 2003.

  • How to install the new hard drive and windows key?

    Hello

    I have a aspire v5-121-c72g32nkk.
I have just updated to Windows 10, don't panic, but I want to upgrade my HD drive to a SSD drive.

You can find the steps to do this?
Windows was preinstalled, how I reinstall on another drive?
I have no serial key or whatever it is.
I'm a bit lost, you have an idea?

    Best,

There are several ways to do this, anyone have product keys, since

If you want to do a clean install:

Windows 7-8 - 8.1 keys are embeeded on your BIOS

Windows 10 use a generic key during the upgrade, so just skip the steps questions about a product key and the first time you connect on the web, it will authenticate to.

    You must decide:

    (1) do a clean install of your operating system to factory

    (2) make a disk - image of the system image and reload

    (3) to do a clean install of windows 10

option 2 is the fastest at the end, as you create a copy of your HARD drive and reload it to your PC.

you need a bootable windows 10 (USB or DVD) media and little space on external HARD drive.

  • Having trouble installing new drivers after installing a new hard drive and Windows Vista.

I just installed a new hard drive on my computer of dell inspiron 1525. I managed to do it and it worked. I had a disc from dell to reinstall windows vista edition Home premium 32-bit and had drivers and utilities dvd. However I couldn't connect to the internet. I understand I'm missing some drivers but I rebooted the computer, but it goes to the black screen asking you to start in safe mode, safe mode with network, normally and something else. But after trying all of them, it goes straight to this same screen. What can I do? Or I can clear the new hard drive and start over? Any ideas?

  • Belkin router low with USB for storage drive and Windows 7 do not get along?

    Hi all!

We have a Belkin N wireless router + with a USB stick 'slot' in the back with the rest of the cables. The USB option is actually the only thing that made me buy the router in the 1st place! Anyway, it does not work when connected to the router, even if the network is running perfectly. It is a Seagate external hard drive and when it is plugged it's high lights of the page, there is no power cable so that it can be plugged into the wall. NTFS system I think. I use Windows 7. I tried so many different things, trying to connect this dag on drive to the router, I've exhausted all efforts, it seems. On belkin under my model site there a Belkin Storage Manager, but there isn't even a request, is just a plateau that is located on the bottom of my screen, the only thing I can do for her, is shut, it is the only command that opens. Oh and the website says also I can enter my routers address in IE followed by a slash and the name of my seagate... the drive is H, so I tried different versions of H:, tried FreeAgentDrive, etc...

.. I think it is a windows problem, b/c not only not Seagate turn on, under the watch USB (via IE, default routers page layout), the connected router settings. In addition to the light on the front of the router is 'active', blue and work.

HM... I run windows 7 Professional / 64-bit / don't know not what other information I have to give... I don't think that the external hard drive would have it's own IP address when you are connected to the router... could it? Also, my service is comcast with dynamic IP address assignments... so it would not stay dry alike... correct?

Oh, and the external hard drive works wonderful connected directly to my laptop and an XP computer at work... so router maybe not is not talking computer properly the drive... I should have some sort of security "allowances" on this drive until I put it on belkin?

I'm sorry this is a NOVEL, someone help please? I've been addressed under and turned off for a year... I get very frustrated with this!

  • Install a new hard drive and Windows 7 loading no settings are changed on the mother board or bios installation? :

I have a desktop Dell-540 in which my c drive is a Raid 1 configuration of 1 TB (two disks to not up to 1 TB, Raid 0, which is the backup) which has all my programs and data.  I have a 2nd J: 1 TB (single drive - no raid) drive that I use as my back in-house to my drive c.

I am running in all genres or the problems of Windows 7 as well as running out of space so I would install a new 2 TB drive as new drive c and re - install windows 7 for a clean install on a single partition.  I intend to disconnect my current c drive (which consists of my two disks in a raid 1 configuration) as well as to disconnect the 1 TB drive unique j and connect my new 2 TB drive.  I would like to install a clean version of windows 7.  So my question is this:

If I disconnect all the old disks (c and J) and install a new one and start to load windows 7 on it, the new facility does affect the bios or motherboard settings?

f for some reason so I have encounter problems, can I just unplug my new drive of 2 TB and re - connect my original c drive and drive j back to the motherboard and have it load up as it was before original, I unplugged my old PC would be back up and runing?  Or, install Windows 7 on a new drive change the settings of the motherboard or bios Setup that would prevent me to connect to any return to as it was before I started?

In fact, raid 0 is striated, which means that two readers work as something one 1 TB raid 0 disk is made from two 500 GB drives. RAID 1 is mirrored, meaning that you would have two 1 TB drives each of which is one exact copy of the other. Replacing your hard drive and perform a clean installation of Windows 7 will not change your bios settings. You will need to enter the bios and change the configuration of the training of raid 0 or 1 for sata before install Windows on the new drive. To return to your original configuration and the hard disks, you will need to enter the bios and re - configure the hard drives in the raid 0 array or 1, whatever one you had.

    I have a Dell Studio XPS 9100 I bought in 2011.

I went on the site of Dell for the 9100 and installed the drivers for the adapter and the RAID.

  • Problem Canon PIXMA MP760 and Windows 7

    Hello.

I just installed Windows 7 and tried to connect my printer (Canon PIXMA MP760). He finds some drivers it cost but it showd a mistake and this seems to be the main engine.

I have also tried to download driver from here https://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=Canon%20PIXMA%20MP760%20Photo%20All-In-One%20Printer&v=Canon&uid=9792A005&pf=0&pi=4&c=Printers%20%26%20Scanners&sc=Multifunction&os=32-bit

But when he took out and so now he appears just "check the connection of the cable between the printer and the computer... blabla".

I tried to reconnect the printer, enable/disable, restart the pc, checked the cable connection +++ but I can't make it work.

When I go to devices and printers, I see that the scanner of the printer part appears as a device, but not the printer itself.

Someone has any advice on what to do to get it working?

EDIT: I also tried to install the printer on another computer with windows 7. Same problem there. :(

    Hi printerhelp,

Please do not forget to go to the Canon website to download the software and drivers for Windows 7, as the two look update:

    http://www.USA.Canon.com/consumer/controller?Act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=DownloadDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=334&ModelId=11010

If this isn't your correct printer, you should be able to look it up directly on the Canon site.

    I hope this helps!

  • Hard drive and windows 7

I put the external hard drive Toshiba PX 1394u. It worked amazing on my windows XP computer, however I recently moved and brought a computer laptop windows 7 and my hard drive does not work as well as it did on my windows XP (unable to copy files and sometimes does not recognize). It works on my xbox 360 but not my laptop.

Y at - it ainyway to get my hard drive to work with windows 7?

What is an NTFS drive? If so, I think you have a problem with its security settings. Pull up the drive properties, click the Security tab and see who can do what - I hope you can see the 'names' on your old laptop. I suggest a google for 'NTFS disk permissions' and I think, you will find step by step guides to sort.

  • Problems with encrypted Prestige 2 TB drive and Windows 8.1

So I have an Iomega 2 TB external hard drive of Prestige that has been and is still working very well. I recently updated my computer to Windows 8.1 and now when I connect my hard drive to my computer, the Iomega encryption software does not recognize the drive is connected, so do not let me unlock it. I tried to connect to another computer running Windows XP and the software recognized and unlocked it very well, but as the reader has a GPT partition style, I guess that's why this computer would not read the drive, once it has been unlocked. So basically my question is is there a way for me to access my disk encrypted on Windows 8.1 or if not there at - it other software I can use to unlock it?

Oh also, the reader communicates with my computer as when I plug it into the virtual CD with the Iomega utility encryption Setup appears, it's just the actual program does not see the drive.

Good then I discovered why my hard drive did not work properly. After contacting the support of microsoft, it turns out that the Windows update 8.1 some chipset drivers had not updated and therefore to prevent playback of my disc. in any case, just the display in the case where a person has a similar problem.

  • replacing the hard drive and windows 8

just yesterday bought a hp laptop model #20002b19wm.

This laptop came preloaded with windows 8.

I think with windows 8, microsoft puts more COST on the machines themselves.

My question is this, say the hard drive breaks down and I need to replace it, I'll have to go out and buy another copy of windows 8? I read that the 8 victory is only good for your ' current configuration at the time of the "as its related to the form of machines, etc..

and where is my product key? hidden in the bios somewhere?

I have to buy my hard drive from hp directly? I read here that if you try to put any hard drive laptop in these machines, you can not install windows because the new drive does not have the "Recovery" partition

I'm pretty good with computers, and finally, I want to put a hard drive in this machine more. I hope someone out there can help.

We hope to hear from someone.

    Hello

Windows 8 machines come with the activation key encrypted in the bios chip, but you can always use a utility such as the one on the link below to read into the operating system.

    http://www.Belarc.com/free_download.html

If you create your recovery media set - see link below - you can use this to reinstall Windows 8 on another drive (it will also recreate the recovery on the new HARD drive Partition).

Create recovery media - Windows 8.

You are in no way limited to a given provider or a hard drive manufacturer.

    Kind regards

I just bought the HP Envy Touchsmart K025-DX from Best Buy m6.  I admit that I did a lot of research and I forgot to check if there was a built-in optical drive.  However, I like this laptop because it fit my budget.  I just want to know if I can use any compatible DVD/CD ROM external external external drive CD/DVD/drive or if it is better to go with the HP brand.

I thought to return the laptop to the store and try to buy a new one who already has an internal hard drive built in... but think if I add an external hard drive... he wanted me to return this product.

Also I realized that I probably need to upgrade my HP printer as well as my current HP Officejet j4500 printer software is not compatible with WIndows 8.  Advice and suggestions are appreciated...

    Hello

You can use any external USB optical drive on this laptop and the printer, you can download the drivers for Windows 8 if it is available in the hp.com. Simply search for drivers by putting the search box in top right where it says search Hp.com.
