  You must have somehow set it or choose a mode that is black and white only. How do you scan? Computer or printer with the ' scan to '? If from the computer, which is the type selected? If the printer are you scan a document or photo, pdf, pdf seachable etc? If of course, change the setting and see if the colors come out?

  I suggest you scan the document, you can simply change the preferences to scan and it will give you the option to choose the location to save the file.

  However, to better understand please confirm the analysis of the document to save workflow.

(My older guns would use) But this scanner and the 7120 times insist on ignoring my selection and use of the pictures folder. (when I save, they won't have a record dated in photos, but I would rather not clutter it.)

  Nobody likes Macs.

  When you open the settings of the utility Scan IJ, there are 3 tabs at the top. The first tab is settings when the analysis is started from the computer, the second tab is for setting when the analysis is started from the control panel. Make sure that you change the destination folder to 'Save to PC (self)' on the second tab!

  Check that you have installed Windows Update because most of the hardware drivers in Windows 7 actually coming through windows updates.

  (b) have you installed the drivers for your CANON MP530 all in one printer scanner?

  Download all the relevant drivers from the link below and check if the problem persists.

  Sometimes, if you have downloaded only the drivers for the printer and not to scan, you will always get this message. So make sure you download all of the drivers concerned.

  I've just set up a Canon MX922. Everything went well until I tried to print from MS Word. The print dialog box does not offer "double-faced." The text box does not appear. I see the box in Safari, Chrome, and Mac Mail. Perhaps, this should be better address to Microsoft?

  What version of Word are you using? With 2016 in Word, you can select the menu duplexing and margin to perform double-sided printing. Example of this menu is presented below.
