CD Driver / reading problem

Hello, I'm Nour Hamshary, I am a programmer of VB database and I made programs, and my parents love it because they want to send to Microsoft

But the project is not finished yet, so I'm always the creation of it.
When I do a program that scans for CD and it automatically what type of disc is it as:
PS2 CD
Microsoft install
and etc.
When I put the CD, nothing happens.
I am trying to use Microsoft Fix IT, but he can't help me
Even when right click in the driver, it says "the driver works correctly" and that I am not found enough videos
It isn't the registry problem, I checked what it correctly and it is not LowFilter or UpperFilter
and tried the method of uninstalling driver, but the problem persists.
and update the driver, but the problem persists
It is not any Virus or Malware, I have Microsoft Security Essentials, Bitdefender QuickScan + Windows Defender and I still an update of these programs. but the problem persists
Is there any solution to solve ALL these problems, thank you

Hey Nour,

I appreciate your efforts to solve the problem.

1 are. what fixit you referring?

2. do you receive any error messages? If Yes, what is the exact error message?
3. What is the brand and model of the computer?

This issue would have occurred after you installed, uninstalled or updated a program, because drivers corrupt or if the equipment is damaged.

I suggest you to check the website of the manufacturer for firmware updates available. Install and check if that helps.

Hope this information helps. Answer the post with an up-to-date issue report to help you further.

    Hello

I'll use this external hard drive to copy files to other computers and I would like to know how to make the drive read-only.

I don't know what HARD drive you have exactly, but I know that Toshiba offers a software protection with external hard drives.
Did you check manuals? Is something like that provided with your HARD drive?

Maybe you need to use some third party software part for the protection of files on the HARD drive. Google all over the place.

check microsoft to the drivers FRO viewsonic va800, except if someone can help with a good method of downloading drivers before hand.

    Hi Dave,.
I could be wrong, but "Viewsonic va800" resembles a monitor?  I think that you need to update the drivers for your graphics card.  In Device Manager, look at "Graphics cards" (that's what they are called in Windows7, could be something different in xp...).

Take a look at this site for more information: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ht/updatedriverxp.htm

Because every PC is different (a different material) you're not going to find specific instructions, I'm afraid).

    Hope that helps.

  • SD card reader problem: "Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38) »

I can't get my Dell Insperion to recognize a second SD card. If you try to insert two cards at the same time that would be normal given that the card reader is bound to a single channel of USB. It all depends on how your computer has been configured when it was built.

If you remove the first card and insert another card it is possible that you are not just right-click on the map in file Explorer and ejecting the card before you remove them.

  • Satellite X 200-HD - DVD reading problems

    Hello

    I recently acquired a Satellite X 200.
I decided to upgrade to the latest drivers and applications available on the website of Dutch support.
Since I now have my first HD-DVD player, I also bought the latest Harry Potter on HD - DVD.

Reading with no upgrade did not work, so I've upgraded to the HD-DVD player more recent.
Reading worked just fine now, but when I upgraded to all the other stuff (Broadcom decoder, drivers NVidia, etc.), reading crashes after a few seconds.
I have now restored almost everything and I can replay the film very well, but of course I would really like to keep my drivers up-to-date. Anyone here with similar experiences and (hopefully) a solution?

Another problem I have is when I plug in my TV via HDMI, playback stops.
The TV is not HD, but can perfectly HD signals downsample. I have an XBox 360 connected that I've tested this with, but with the Toshiba, it just won't play.
    Again, all tips are welcome...

    Maurice

    Hello

I suggest reinstall you the entire system and update your BIOS because it is possible that the software are somewhat overloaded or your system has too many things that probably isn't necessary.

Especially the problem could probably be a corrupted driver then please try for example a display driver on the European driver download site, maybe better than the Dutch versions work.

I guess the problem is somewhere in the search on the display drivers, since the question really looks like them.
Is your X 200 a SLI machine? If this isn't the case, then you could try this site www.laptopvideo2go.com because they have more real pilots and they set up drivers for mobile system.

    Good luck

  • Satellite A35-S1593: DVD reading problem

    Hello.

    I have a SAT. A35 S1593. There a UJDA750 dvd/cdrw rom in it.
I did some research about my problem, but I STILL can't get a direct answer from all the research Ive done. So... I come to you.

I started to have problems playing DVDs. Now I can read at all. I can read burned CD and can burn CDs, I can even listen to CDs of reg with no problems.
The problem is with the DVD. No matter what I do, other drivers, codecs, or firmware, I still have to make it work.

    What is c?
Try to use the restore CD say you.
Ive tried, and it will not read anything.
The CD is good, I can put it in one of my other machines, and it will read.

Frustrated and out of warranty, I thought I would load windows XP Pro on it, I thought that the worst case it would not read the CD either. ........
I was wrong it read and load Win Xp on it. Hoping that just maybe Winxp fix it.

Hell I couldn't put it to its original state as do I lose.
What else can I do to get this drive working and restore it to its state of OEM.

    Thanks in advance

    ~ Kuma

    Hi Ronn

This seems to be a hardware problem.
I would say that the lens of the drive cannot calibrate properly in the right position and so the DVD cannot be recognized.
Each CD or DVD supports the different features and properties so the lens must calibrate to manage every single support.
If this is not possible then the CD or DVD cannot be read or written

Unfortunately, these failures occur due to the stress of the material and that replacement can help to solve these problems.

  • Satellite M35x-s349 - DVD-ROM drive read not

    I have a Satellite M35x-s349. I got it around late 2004.

He has had this problem for a few months and I had submitted to not being able to read or write cd / dvd because I couldn't find my recovery disks. When the computer was planted I renewed my efforts, found, restored with the help of an external HD enclosure, backed up and restored my computer. It was working fine. I burned the CD and watched movies without problems for a few months.

He has now stopped read any kind of cd yet. I put the small drive flashes next to my cursor. I hear movement inside (ROAR and the eye moving) but after about 20 seconds, he gave up and claims that there is no disc in the drive. I don't want to have to do a system restore, but I can't even read the restore disk to reinstall the driver. Are there any ideas on why this happens if not all the solutions? Any way to reinstall the driver online? I am a user of level intermediary model so I can understand most tech jargon you throw my way. I can usually solve my own problems, but this one seems hopeless.

    Any help is very appreciated.

    -Tom

I agree with Akuma. If the bootable CD/DVD cannot be read by the player are probably defective.

It's old notebook and you can find replacement on eBay.
Change the record is not complicated and if you need help let us know.

    Hello

I understand that it was ok with your laptop before installing Windows 7. It is so related to hardware problem software. Can you tell if it was original iso of windows 7 or the Assembly. Have you installed all the drivers for the Toshiba driver page and the maintenance of the right installation order? What burning software do use?

Have you done this procedure mentioned in this forum:

Go to Device Manager and remove the drive from the list of devices CD/DVD.
Then access the registry and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Reboot the laptop and wait for the CD/DVD drive would appear once again
