• New EarPods works do not correctly with the old iPhone

  Hi, someone I gifted their EarPods. I tried on my iPhone 4S running on iOS 7.0.4 but to my disappointment only left side is audible to all the sound elements of music to Siri. right side is silent, not even low noise at full volume. All other functions of the EarPods as 'change volume' and mike work correctly. But then I tried on my computer laptop Lenovoand they absolutely worked well! The two sides were also audible and clear. I tried again on my iPhone 4s, but the problem occurred again! Other headphones work fine with this iPhone. Now, I know that neither EarPods jack iPhone is damaged (or blocked), it isn't a software problem and also compatible with the iPhone 4S as claimed by Apple. I have now run out of options. Please help me. Thanks in advance. (I live in India, where there is no Apple store, so please don't recommend me to get replace them)

  If you don't insert them completely what you describe happen

  could be a cause of why it is not able to go all way

  1. you did not apply enough pressure

  2. something got into the connector and cause the connector not being able to go all the way in

• Questionnaire works do not correctly with the presenter 7.0.7 in LMS

  I use PowerPoint 2003 and presenter version 7.0.7. We previously had version 7.0.1 and quiz worked very well. However, I reissued a course with 7.0.7 and when downloaded on our LMS quiz does not work correctly if a user fails the quiz. Works fine the first time, but not if they fail and must go back.

  The course takes the user initially (as we wanted), but when they get to the quiz to resume it, they pick the correct answer, click on submit and nothing happens. A message should display the so-called "Correct" or "Incorrect" and click to go to the next slide. These messages are not displayed and the user cannot move to the next slide by clicking anywhere (which they should).

  It seems that, behind the scenes, that he might work because if I use the button forward/next down through all the questions after I answer them correctly, it will record that I have completed and passed the quiz.

  I ended up uninstalling 7.0.7 and going back to 7.0.1 and it worked fine. However, I would like to know if there is a solution to this problem so that we can use 7.0.7.

  7.0.1 is a version quite buggy of the presenter. Have you tried to go to version 7.0.5 or 7.0.6 through the Adobe update 7.0.2? If identified when in the process of updating, there was a change which affected the reports feature to your LMS, which can help identify the problem. Personally, I recommend that you don't touch same presenter, unless it's on version 7.0.5 or later, because it it too great a risk to not do what you expect or just crashing and losing all your work.

  Also, if you access the training in IE9? I remember he had some compatibility issues with IE 9 and presenter, but I thought that was resolved in 7.0.7.

  Are - what you happened to download the faulty Nvidia driver package which was listed so removed from the site? This package is defective and caused the Nvidia GPU down and turn into bricks. You wrote that you have just started to have problems, then maybe that's your problem. I would use an old driver until Nvidia it sorts.

  Go ahead and skip this step then. I never did, but my colleague has mentioned that you can disable the RPD to be cached at all, so if you are in online mode and you still cannot manage the cache, assume that this feature is disabled.

  In addition, as I said above, I don't think it is a caching problem, it was just more precautionary, so I don't think it will be a big problem.

• 26.0 Firefox works do not correctly with Mac OSX 10.9.1. Text jumps from one side to the other spontaneously

  I used firefox on Mac computers for years. I am now under Maverick Mac OSX 10.9.1 and have major problems with sizing of text in windows and windows suddenly change size (much smaller) and jump on the left side of my desk. Apple does not support Firefox, so I can't get assistance on their part and Mozilla is impossible to contact them directly. Can someone please help with this problem?

• D - Link USB Hub DUB - H7 works do not correctly with Windows 8

  I am also having the same problems.

  Very recently, I went from 7 to 8.1 and with the operation of the steam, the sound of connect/disconnect repeats about every 10 seconds. If I disconnect the D - Link DUB - H7 sound no longer appears.

  I seem to have a problem with my iPhone 5 now. Notifications are not appearing (stills phone vibrate, silent or not), siro does not work (but again, vibration works as if everything was fine.) and by simple click home button does not work, both manually and with a help key. Double-click on works fine, triple clicking too. I tried calibration "home" button but it does not work, and since he made double and triple click, I don't think it's broken. The thing is, even touch home on assistove does nothing. Please help me find a solution thanks!

  Have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again? You won't lose data by doing this, but it can cure a few glitches.

  If restarting the force cannot be done because the home button does not react, set it back to factory settings, explained in this article:

• Condition of additional results work does not correctly for the parameters

  Trying to connect a parameter only if the status of the step is "failure" will not save the setting when the step will actually fail.  On the other hand, variables with the same State will record very well.

  The sequence attached illustrates this.  Basically I have a sous-suite that returns a random number and a string as parameters.  I use the random number to evaluate against my limits for the test call.  I want to save the parameter of string only if the step fails.  So I put as an additional result, then assign the condition

  Step.Result.Status == "failed".

  The data never show on the report.

  But when I put a result additional explicit with the same local variable and put the same exact condition it appears on the report when the step fails.

  I'm puzzled as to why settings will not open a session to this condition, but additional explicit results work fine with the same State.

  Any thoughts?

  Condition for additional result of the parameter is evaluated before the State sequence is set to failure. The 'out' parameter additional results are evaluated probably just after the code module, so if the status of the step is not changed by the call of code module, then it will always be "Running".

  I can see how it would be nice if it worked the way you ask, but keep in mind for input/output parameters it is usually the same expression/variable to both the 'in' and 'out' additional result, so it is important to the time at which the result is recorded. It must be done before calling code module for 'in' settings and after the call of code module to 'out' parameters to reflect the State of the variables to these points in time. I think that the intention is that the additional result for settings must reflect the State of the variables at the point in time immediately right before the call for 'in' settings and immediately after the call to 'out' parameters So if you want to connect under certain conditions a value based on the status (where the State is not changed directly by the code module), with the help of a result extra ordinary as you discovered is probably the best way to go.

  Maybe for the parameters we might delay logging to the end, but which may result in a change of behavior if the variable state changes again once before that. If you want us to consider or have another idea for how to handle this better please let us know or maybe post something to the exchange of ideas.

  Another possibility is that we could temporarily connect the results before and after the code module, but then not assess the condition to the end and throw the recorded result if the condition is false. Who can still cause a change in behavior although if "Value of Log" expressions have side effects.

  Summary of the problem: Bluetooth connectivity does not work properly after the window Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 and 2 installation (SP 1 and 2).

  My system:

  Laptop Dell Inspiron E1705, 32-bit Winows Vista Home Premium SP2, Dell Wireless Bluetooth 355 Module + EDR 2.0

  * My system was purchased in 2006 with Windows XP, but was not entitled to a free Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade I did. I installed Windows Service Pack 1 and 2 about a week ago.

  Problem: After downloading and installing the Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1 and 2 (SP 1 and 2), my system does not recognize my Bluetooth (a touch of Sprint also) device known as the HTC Vogue.  I stress that I have not had any problems with this device before downloads.  I can't revert to the pre - SP State 1 and 2 because my system restore does not have these points more.

  I have read several posts on various sites about people having similar problems with Bluetooth connectivity after the Vista SP 1 and 2 facilities.  The problem is obviously the need for an updated driver.  I went to the site to download driver Dell and the Blueooth only updates available are the following. (Note: these drivers all date from 2006 and 2007).

  I had these installed before the SP 1 and 2 have been installed and they worked very well. After the upgrade, these drivers do not work.  They won't recognise BT devices.  I tried to upgrade the drivers by using update Broadcom suggested below it, but an error of following installation to contact Dell.

  I contacted Dell via e-mail and on the phone, but they want to charge me $60 for a one time service call just to talk about the problem because my warranty has expired. Provide updated drivers is not a problem of security in my opinion.  Even after explaining the situation, their continuous support to just send me the link to download Driver Dell above with out-of-date drivers.  I guess that's what they are charged to do, they do not have to admit a problem of compatibility.  This obviously the same link they would charge $60 to send.  I explained that I need just a Bluetooth Driver from Dell to at least version 6.3.   Needless to say, I will never buy another Dell product.

  On my end, I tried to uninstall my current drivers and then by installing a newer driver to support Gateway (Version 6.2.1.500 for and Acer).  This allows me to install some parts of this update and the update Broadcom. However, it is not a perfect installation and expires after about 90% saying "this update is not for this system" because it is the gateway not Dell to be provided.  Displays the version of the driver on my computer is Version 6.3.5.430 after doing this, but it is not a complete installation and some features are not available.

  Does anyone have experience with this issue? I would like to have a link with some bluetooth drivers generic Version 6.3 type which will allow me to use the Broadcom link to upgrade to the last version that works with Vista SP 1 and 2.

  I have problems with the spry menu bars, I created with Dreamweaver works fine on internet browsers explore. I have IE 7 on the PC version. What happens when the menus drop down, they overlap else lower down. It is supposed to descend directly to the right of the drop on the other.   I understood what was my problem with the position of in the drop-down menus for Firfox 2 and IE 7. I could not use percentages. I had to use em.

• ALPS touchpad works do not correctly with Windows 8 dm4-2070us

  I upgraded to Windows 7 to Windows 8 on my laptop dm4-2070us, and now I have more use of gestures or scrolling on the Alps touchpad. The left and right buttons work and I can move the cursor anywhere on the screen, but that's all. Everything else seems to work fine. I can't find drivers anywhere for the Alps touchpad for Windows 8. All the world has noticed what is happening? I hope that a new driver will soon be developed but not optimistic. Any suggestions out there?

  I recently had a power surge and now none of my usb ports are usable, and I had to switch to analog cable to use my monito., also using the beside picture dvi hdmi cable sparkles.   The Device Manager shows everything works and the appropriate drivers are installed. IM using windows 7 with an asus motherboard P5nesli. IM pretty computer savy but it left me speechless. Cannot connect wireless mouse or keyboard, camera, printer, etc.  truble shooter says that it detects problems but wont tell me what they are and can't fix. Help... Thank you

  I suggest you try these methods and check the status of the issue.

  Method 1:

  Update a hardware driver that is not working properly.

  Uninstall all the USB controllers, download the latest USB driver on the computer manufacturer site, install on your computer and check the status of the issue.
