cDAQ Operation Complete

Is it possible to know when a cDAQ finished?  Specifically, I would like to be able to know if a resource is available.  The postings I found so far do not indicate, but I thought I'd ask.

I have an application that consists of two loops.  We're around an event structure that manages the entries and GUI in the time-out setting I manage the health of the periodic table verify (temperature, pressure etc.).  The other loop contains the main application.  In the main application, all i/o is done in order so there is never more than one operation of cDAQ from him at some point.  The same is also for the e/s to the event structure.  Where I can (and do) get resource conflicts is when both loops act simultaneously.

I was hoping that (error-50103 the specified resource is reserved) wouldn't bite me since I use a 9178 chassis.  Have enough motor timing apparently does not help if two processes are simultaneously trying to talk to the same module and/or line.  I am currently using a Boolean value as a sort of "lockout - tag on" but wants to set up something a bit neater.  Is it possible to test the availability of a resource before trying to access?

Jim

The best I could find is the property node DAQmx task performed (DAQmx task property node"task done).  You could do something with this property node reading and use it to trigger a case structure in your loop at the top of the page.  It won't be as elegant I think you want, there unfortunately doesn't seem to be a way to just check a resource and see if it is available.

You could use the 50103 error to check to see if the resource is free and just clear the error and try again if it is thrown.  It would be a way together very nicked to check to see if the resource is free.

I tried several solutions and searched many forums. This has actually been a problem for some time now, and I do not know what facilities of printer driver broke.

I did put a lot of thought into it and just posted stuff to the network and printed one of my other computers. It became a problem recently, when I was too lazy to get up and turn on one of the other computers. :-) I then decided that I just needed to fix it.

I read all the posts I could find for each version of Windows treats this problem and tried each of them. I removed all the old drivers (at least I think I did. I couldn't find anybody would say, 'Here are the drivers installed.'). I downloaded the new drivers from HP. I edited the registry. I went to the folder/Windows/System32/Spool/something and deleted all. I searched all references to Lexmark (my old printer) and deleted.

In any case, last night my boot sector failed, so I ended up reinstalling Windows. I just finished now, and the printer works fine, now.

So far, I found all these shapes to be completely useless and a waste of time. I found out how to fix this and it looks like that many people would have put me the answer out there because nobody else will or knows it.

    -Start

    -Explorer window

    -C:\windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS

    And

    -C:\windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS

-Right click on a folder at a time and select Properties, then on the Security tab and add the user you want to grant access to print and check that the 'Total control' box is checked. If the user name is already there, check the box "total control".

-Note: Never simply put the group "Everyone" it as it will cause problems if you use a vulnerability scanner.

They suggested to do a factory restore, if a valid step to do.  I know this isn't the most fun thing to do, but if you restore the system failing factory (clean install of the operating system).  Then, run Windows update and update drivers.  At this point, you can install a game and test.  If the problem persists, it would look to be a possible hardware problem with the system.

  • M276 - Win7 - cannot install the printer. Impossible operation completed (error 0x000003eb)

    Hello

I have encountered this same problem after charge a laptop Win7 twice.  When the problem occurs, the laptop is impossible to install any printer object on the machine of any provider in the field of devices and printers.  We use the latest solution of complete software from HP.com.  It is a USB printer installation situation.

The scanner and fax functions are able to install without problem in Device Manager.  We can run the scanner with the HP software without any problems.  However, the print in Device Manager device remains in the category other devices and fails to install every time.

Anyone has any ideas on where to start for this one?  See the attachment for a screenshot of the error when executing addition MS one assistant of the printer.

I was able to solve the problem for now.

We tried a number of solutions:

    1 Add/Remove from Device Manager

2 Add/Remove tab of device drivers drivers and printers

    3. Uninstall and reinstall with the latest software

    4 charge the laptop

    5 disable HP Smart Install

    6. create alternative USB printer objects in devices and printers

    7. Mrs. FixIt 50979 and 50984

What ended by us to install the object HP Printing in Device Manager is a manual cleaning of the two areas.  Once these areas have been cleaned for restart us the print spooler, manually pointed objects in the Device Manager for the the driver files on the machine and finished the installation wizard triggered AutoRun automatically power off.

We have removed all the contents of this folder:

    C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers\w32x86\3

We have also removed all HP registry entries in this area:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-3

It was of course a pain in coming to this conclusion, but at least my user works again and be able to print.  Time will tell whether or not something will come and corrupting its Setup again.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

You have to start there... According to this KB, there is no DTM version that is compatible with this version of GroupWise. Indeed, why it worked before (8.1) is a mystery... it was a mistake.

  • Task Scheduler task shows as completed successfully, but nothing happened

I have some .bat files I created added to my task scheduler on our server at the fire every day from 05:00.  Tasks run a series of SQL commands and a find and replace the application third for updating a MySQL database that we use for a web application.  SQL event on demand are not an option for us.

When I run the task manually it works fine (I'm an administrator has full permissions), either by double-clicking the .bat file, either by selecting the task in the Task Scheduler task by clicking on 'run '.

Tasks have been reportedly shot every day for more than a week and all history journals say the operation completed successfully, but when I check the MySQL database, that nothing has actually happened.

To add to the confusion, what is happening on 2 3 .bat files that I wrote.  One works perfectly, not.

I have the defined task to "Run if the user is logged in or not", and "Run with the highest privileges" and our server, Windows 2012 R2.

My apologies if I'm missing something obvious, I am a JavaScript/PHP web developer, who was lifted in the server environment and, although most of this is logical on a base level for me, a lot of nuances are lost.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Replace a hard drive in dv6 but is not completed the installation phase

I replaced my hard drive with a disks recommended by an expert from HP in this forum, and he seemed fine. After starting with my #1 recovery and loading of each disk when you are prompted, I got the final guest/message: "preparation of the recovery is complete. Remove the system recovery media. Once the computer is restarted, the installation of recovery process will begin... Support on continue restart the computer. "When I hit the"Continue"button, the screen went black as if it has been restarted. But instead, a black screen with the HP logo in the centre appeared, with the text: "Press ESC for Boot Menu" in white letters in the lower left corner. Waited about half an hour, and then you press the ESC key, but it changed nothing. Same screen HP. And that's all - nothing else has happened. I left it on all night, thinking perhaps that it takes time to get there, but in the morning, the same screen was there and my phone was hot as if in use. So I turned it off right there. What would not, and that I should try now?

Turns out that I don't need to download the Microsoft Windows software and then struggle to find the right drivers, thank God. My recovery discs works perfectly after all.

Having read tons and tons of forum posts about this problem, I finally found a solution that worked really - posted by another user, GoodTimes81 (thanks!). This solution is pasted below (with numbers and an additional note added by me):

    (1) put the recovery disk #1 in and

    (2) when the Recovery Manager screen loads, you will get a few options, but the one you want is the command prompt (which appears after you select "Run a computer check.")

    (3) in the command prompt, I typed bootrec.exe/fixmbr, you press on enter and waited it says the operation completed successfully.

    (4) I typed bootrec/fixboot and then you press on enter and again waited until he said the operation has completed successfully.

    (5) after having done that I left the command line, restarted my computer and waited until my recovery disk #1 loaded up again.

    (6) then, I chose the recovery system to the Recovery Manager screen and went through the process of insertion of disks 1 to 4.  When the 4th disc is complete, it says remove the recovery disc and press on continue, which I did, then it restarts, except that this time it restarted and actually started the installation and facilities it is supposed to do and has completed the recovery process.
    _________

The other user said these steps solved the problem for her, and they could work for you. Finally, they worked for me, except after step 5, the recovery disk #1 would not load again. I received an error message (the black screen, white letters) mentioning a problem of location startup (sorry, that I did not write down exactly what he says). I pressed the button power to restart, but got the same error message.

So I pressed the button to power again but this time, you press F11 repeatedly until I had a menu of options. The option to boot was F9, then I pressed F9 and selected "CD/DVD player" (which I had already done elsewhere earlier in the process, but maybe it had reset after entering the command request?) and then restarted again.

This time, it worked, and I was back in step 6 above. Load the discs one at a time (note: I have 7 discs instead of the 4 mentioned by another user), and after that the disc was done and I got the prompt to "Press continued to restart", it restarted and he proceeded to load all the software, drivers, etc as it is supposed to. Yay!

Thank you!! you were right.  The hard drive was completely corrupted, lots of bad sectors. It had everything to do with the hard drive. All of you gave me useful information to help me solve this problem. Thank you very much.
