  My PC Windows Vista can't find info from device driver to install my new Palm Centro.  I downloaded the latest version of the Palm software.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

  What version of Vista you have?  32-bit or 64-bit?

  64-bit cannot sync via a cable - only via a wireless (BlueTooth or IR) method.

  I recently bought a new AT & T Centro for my wife and was very excited to see the software available for download with her bonus. However, when I try to download, the site asks me to enter the serial number of the phone, but it gives me the message: "* Please enter a valid serial number."

  I'm in one S/N that I can find on both the box and the phone.

  Anyone know what I need to do?

  A few years ago Palm released a update for the Brazilian version of Palm Centro that solved a problem whit incoming calls freeze BOUNCING.

  I have the files needed to update the ROM but I forgot how to start the Palm Centro from SD card, as update procedures indicates that it will take to copy all of the files on a SD card and start the phone to the card.

  Can anyone here tell me how to start the Palm Centro from SD card?

• Impossible to download specific software Centro

  I lost my Centro for the longest time and decided to go ahead and get it sorted, the problem is only one of the applications I like Palm 2.1 files, cannot be downloaded because the system that manages the serials and downloads are no longer in service.  Is it possible to get at least this app?  I always lonely because who is not extract and remove the installation program.

  If you are looking for a file embedded to the Centro Manager, your best bet is a freeware called Silverligh go.   It is available on several download sites that you will find with a Google search.

• Centro memos does not start

  I always use a Palm Centro.  I had a memo open and accidentally launched hot Synch when I was not connected to the cable.  I kept trying to cancel to make a phone call emergency and finally removed the battery to reboot the device.

  Now every time I try to launch memos the unit stops and restarts.  I can open other memos of a search, but when I try to reopen the memo that opened the unit also turns off and restarts.

  All other applications work.

  I have synced all records of memo on the desk and none are corrupt.

  How can I get the memos works correctly?

  If you are sure that the memos on the desk are all readable, force to replace your existing memos on the phone by changing the parameters of conduct for memos to "Desktop replaces the handheld computer."

  Do not click on "Set as default" since you want that doesn't happen only once.

• Palm Centro will not turn on

  I bought a Palm Centro refurbished about 7 months ago. In recent days he refused to turn on at all, so far I have tried pulling the battery for anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 hours and putting again. Same thing every time, the red light comes on, the screen remains blank.

  I have left this phone hoked up to wall charger for more than 12 hours in a row and am quite sure that it is not a battery problem.

  I had problems with my Windows XP Professional operating system, with SP 2 installed, & had to reinstall.  Before that my operation of HotSync Palm Centro worked perfectly.  After the reinstallation of the operating system & the Palm HotSync software starts but stalls just after that it starts as follows:

  I have done a clean uninstall including registry keys deleting & reinstalled software Palm OS 6 times & followed all the needs of technical support for troubleshooting with nothing doesn't.  I also did a soft reset of my phone for several minutes elapse before replacing the battery.

  I'd appreciate any help you could provide in order to solve this problem.

  I found the solution to this problem with another Member of this forum.

  I downloaded the free program DbFixIt of Pimlico Software, Inc., www.pimlicosoftware.com, & was able to install it on my Palm Centro.  I ran the program & it removed 2 problems of the Calendar database.  After that, the HotSync operation took place without problems.

Followed by suggestions of telephone support Palm, ran through all the troubleshooting guides and still cannot sync with Outlook. I uninstalled all the software and did all the updates. Anyone successful with hot sync and Outlook?

  Yes, I can sync with palm desktop. I have chatted with tech support and have tried every trick in the book. Log says 'outlook calendar synchronization failed' "contacts outlook synchronization failed. I used to get the error messages but no more. I just want to sync with outlook on my PC at home. Used to have exchanges implemented and I remove exchange e-mail address as I no longer use it. Export to outlook on the desktop of plam is heavy at best when it comes to combine the fields. I use the latest lines. As I said, the other day, I spent a lot of time chatting with the tech people and let them look at my office. They have not found a fix. HELP and thank you.

  So, I recently got my Centro and found Pocket Tunes as a pretty cool program. Then I learned there was an update available, so I tried to download it... Needless to say, he failed repeatedly, and I quickly gave up on it.

  However, I heard from a friend of mine (who is a Treo) that there may be a way to download the update on my Centro without buy a micro SD card. Is this true? As well, I don't have internet on my phone - where can I get updates for my Centro?
