  You have a few options in my opinion please find the steps below may help you solve the problem.

  (1) Please run the hard drive & memory test and check if any part fails, you will have to replace the part. If both the test passes you can call the HP technical support to order the recovery again disc.

  As I see that the hard drive on your unit has failed you need to replace the hard drive, then reinstall the operating system on your device then only unit will return to operational status.

  If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disc replaced.

• I want Windows 7 return on my Compaq Presario CQ61-312SA!

  I stupidly deleted all partitions on my hard drive, I never created a restore image for my laptop pre-installed Windows 7. I installed Windows XP and I want my Windows 7 32 bit back! I contacted Microsoft and they suggest I have contact the producer of my phone asking for a Windows 7 installation disc to restore my laptop to some form of its original state.

• CQ61-312SA: Presario CQ61 does not boot, black screen.

  In setting in motion:

  • LEDs LED power supply front and button cases NIP
  • Wireless LED lights
  • Above the touchpad LED lights continuously
  • LEDS near caps lock and above paved digital flash streaming
  • No sign of drive activity, no fan noise, the screen remains black.

  Looks like it is not booting in the BIOS.

  However, I tried:

  • Remove the battery, button to power down etc.
  • Remove each RAM module and Exchange.
  • Remove the HARD drive

  NB symptoms are the same when the power supply plugged in or not.

  I believe that the flashing LEDs are important but I the only references I can find are telling me to contact the HP Support.

  Can anyone tell if this is likely to be a failure of a repairable component.

  I was hoping to identify the component that prevents the laptop to even start the BIOS but I guess I'll have to just it's bin.

  and I am unable to get an any of them to work.  I've been "slipstreaming" them as a driver in text mode

  I've tried three different amd drivers in lists drivers and its method

  Important notes:

  1. In Nlite, choose Insert -> multiple driver folder option
  2. Select ONLY x 86 driver for AMD SATA AHCI when asked.
  3. Never choose x 64 driver questioned

• Screen frozen to stop down

  I have a Compaq Presario CQ61 - 312SA Notebook PC running windows 7. I stopped it the other day, but the screen has frozen and it is now fixed on "forest operations off the coast. I tried to take out the battery and put it, I let the battery go dead and left on for hours but nothing seems to work. The mouse icon does not appear, and I have no options to click or choose anyway. When the battery has been cut and I turned it back on I countinued with system reset as it was my only option. This then displays a page recovery system which then returned on logging off the screen. The small blue icon turns as if it is doing something but it's been like this for 3 days now so I don't know that he could not yet be disconnected. If anyone has any ideas or advice on what could be wrong or what I can do about it, they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  I have a project where I have to rename all exchanges (create new VM to move, delete old) for our new naming convention.  I have a script which covers this. However, he has a problem with exchanges that follow the new standard with the exception of its case.  The script removes the exchanges on the hosts where the portgroup is empty!  Is there a way to get around this?  I even tried to rename the old portgroup but same problem here because she sees 2 exchanges regardless of case and fails to rename.

  You're right, the vSphere client seems to check the case of an existing portgroup, while the New VirtualPortgroup don't.

  The AddPortgroup method also seems to be case sensitive.

  I couldn't find anything on this in the Documentation Centre of vSphere, but in the book of vSphere Mastering of Scott Lowe, he also says that the names are case-sensitive.

  But it seems that PowerCLI is correctly using the name, which is case-sensitive.

  Back to the problem of you, you can use an operator that is case-sensitive in a Where clause to filter the desired portgroup.

  We currently use the script below to change the root password, but we need a to change a non-root user account that does not have access to the root of how.

  Phew!  Now that I actually found these forums again thanks to the constant of VMware need to complicate navigation of the VMware communities, let me ask my question.

  Example: You have a virtual machine with a single NETWORK adapter that is connected.

  If I execute this command:

  Then it works fine.  Why does do this when

  "false" -eq $false

  ?

  The reason for what your seeing is called casting silent conversion or type.

  The Connected property is a Boolean value ($true or $false).

  When you compare it with the value 'true' (a string), the operator - eq allows you to convert one of the operands have the same type as the other operand.

  That's why

  "true" -eq $true
  

  Returns the value True.

  It is interesting to know that PowerShell evaluates the eq - operator from left to right.

  The left operand is the example above is a string, so PS will convert the operand on the right ($true) to a string.

  What you can do to remove a specific data store, is to use the operator - ceq PowerShell which performs a case-sensitive comparison. Something like:

  Get-Datastore | Where-Object { $_.Name -ceq "Datastore1" } | Remove-Datastore
  

  If you want to remove both you can do:

  Get-Datastore | Where-Object { $_.Name -eq "Datastore1" } | Remove-Datastore

  Synchronization with a message to push only is normally due to previous errors and synchronization process, believing that the server and the client could be out of sync.

  The download of the synchronization phase works as usual - the data is downloaded and placed in the corresponding in the queue tables (CFM$) in the MOBILEADMIN schema, where it is picked up and applied to the backend database by MGP.

  Depending on the type of publication you have, and if the synchronization process is of the view that a complete refresh will be necessary, sometimes data may apply immediately and the queue in tables cleared down.
