The best I can get is the driver by default that automatically loads if I understand correctly that there is no specific driver for this machine available in win 7. Prints a sheet ok, don't double side or on several pages. Has anyone found a way around that?  Otherwise, I have another pc using vista, I could link so when I print the win7 machine it transfers data on the other pc and print it! Seems a long way round but I really need my laser works as it is a great machine. Epson does not offer help, unfortunately

  Hi, everything has been good with this printer up to a couple of days. Whist, the right kind of noises - it just stopped printing, or sometimes {in response to requests for print) spat a blank page or both.

  I tried to clean the print head, but he travels just a loop and does nothing, if the wall point, deleted and reinserted cartridge, removed market turned and replaced the duplex roller, blah blah - all the usual stuff.

  But... I've never seen such a script error before - this is worrying. The printer just died on me?

  I couldn't find a service manual for the OJ Pro x476w or the other.  It is usually the case for OfficeJet products but I was under the assumption that HP was poised to release a service manual for the X Pro series since his business are more than the normal OJ.

  I also don't seem to be able to view the guide to normal use of the HPs site right now.  My hope was to search through it for clues as to how to complete the resettlement of the print heads, as there is usually a section small maintnenance included in the documentation.

  Given the nature of this problem and what I heard of HP engineers that the printhead from the printer table must have a life that survives to the printer.  It is supposed to be enough printheads on eachother table backup in the case of breakdowns that users are not supposed to notice the difference.  Even through the printer is out of warranty HP may be interested in helping you with the picture of the print head.  I give them a call and see if they can offer any assistance.

  Another idea would be to find a seller of parts and ask them if they have an array of replacement for your printer print head.  If they could have some instructions on how to install that you could use to reinstall your current table.  Googling autour, I was not able find parts online so this is perhaps a good reason to call HP and ask for suggestions on where to find spare parts.

• Printer recognized use IE but not detectable on Win7 add a device

  I'm on a network with a Dell desktop, XP Pro and a computer laptop HP, Win 7 64 bit.  I have a 2510 all-in-One.  All three devices are directly connected to the Netgear wireless router.  I do NOT use of wireless at this time. (However I want to connect wireless in the future).  Both machines are running Firewall and McAfee antivirus.

  The XP machine recognizes the printer and prints without problem.  Using the machine Win7 and IE, I can access the printer using the IP (192.168.1.2).  However, when I try to connect the printer to help add a device option in the devices window and printers, the printer is not detectable.  I disabled the firewall, the same results.  If I connect to the Netgear, all three devices are listed as connected devices.

  Any ideas?

  The have you installed again by attaching a USB?  If not, I must inform the fact that the first.  Once you have installed printer and works by USB, then you can make some changes to make it print on the network.

  Something to try would be to clean the contacts of the cartridge with a pencil eraser. Then it blow out with compressed air.

I have moved and have tried to connect with two different routers. No router "see" the printer. The Panel Network icon is not lit. I can't put a static printer IP address as he always comes back to "automatic" and it sees "no link". Needless to say that the printer is not detected with the HP software (I used Linux and Windows 7 Pro). I can set it up as local USB printer and it seems to work fine. I rechecked the cables are good with other devices and routers 'see' other devices.
