characteristics of the topology of wireless Repeater

Hi all

I was a student review and I found this topic

characteristics of the topology of wireless Repeater-

It is said independent access are required.

is it true can we also use Lightweight AP with repeaters?

Secondly, he said the SSID of the root access point must be configured on the access point Repeater.

IF anyone can explain this more in detail please?

Thank you

Mahesh

Hello

Q > he says independent access are required. is it true can we also use Lightweight AP with repeaters?

YEARS - Repeater is only supported on stand-alone design AP... In the MESH design, we use term Repeater, but its different compared to REPEAT what you're pointing to...

Q > second it says the SSID of the root access point must be configured on the access point Repeater.

YEARS - to get the REPEATER access point associated with the ROOT AP, you have to configure both the APs for identical parameters outside the period of INVESTIGATION and the role of the Station... so that they will combine. If the different SSID is configured the APs don't join.

Let me know if that answers your question...

Provide more information, including the version and service pack of Windows, the brand and model of your computer and the make and model of your wireless adapter.

In the meantime, however, your description sounds as if you have a utility provided by the manufacturer of your computer by the manufacturer of your wireless card which is competing with Windows for control of your adapter.  You must choose one or the other; You can't have both at the same time.  For a general introduction to the present, see http://www.ezlan.net/wzc.html

  • Upgrade of the HP-7260he wireless card

I currently have the Ralink RT5390 stock wifi card on my HP 7260he 8 64-bit Windows running, and really, I don't like it and am wanting to switch to something like the

    Intel 7260HMW IEEE 802.11ac, dual-band, 2 x 2 Wi - Fi more combo Bluetooth Mini PCI Express Adapter - 867 Mbps 4.0 + 300Mbps - internal - OEM. ($26 on Newegg)

Is it possible, or should I just stay with the card stock wifi?

    Thanks in advance.

At some point in the recent past, HP dropped the dreaded wifi Whitelist. Exactly when and on which models we know. Yours may or may not have a white list. Your complete model is Envy dv6-7260he, by the way.

It is the only card dual-band capable of 5 GHz that will work without a doubt, even with the white list. It is a very good card:

    Module Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 WLAN 670691-001

Here, it's on eBay for about $5:

You can be our Guinea pig and try the 802.11ac card and let us know if the system starts or if you get the message 'unsupported wireless. You will get all advanatage go AC card without a router AC and even the map above won't help you unless you have a N wireless router broadband 5 GHz. Only bluetooth combo cards that are certainly on the whitelist are 1 x 1 (2.4 ghz only), but people, this would be the best:

    Atheros WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 adapter and 1 × 1 9485GN 3012 655795-001

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a: 8500 a plug the USB to the PC and wireless for Mac

Our Officejet Pro 8500 a is connected via USB to our HP Pavilion running Windows 7. This connection works well. However, I tried to connect my iMac (OS 10.10.2) to the wireless printer with no success. If I disconnect the USB from the PC, I can connect wirelessly from my Mac. My question is: the Officejet Pro 8500 a does support multiple types of connections - one by USB and the other by wireless? If so, then I would appreciate help to understand why my Mac is not the 8500.

Other details: our wireless router is Apple Airport Extreme. The wireless connection on the printer seems to work (I can print the details of this connection). However, when I try to add the 8500 to the Mac by using add printer, the printer does not appear. (The printer is lit and shows five bars of signal strength, SSID is correct and a valid IP address).

My Mac is connected to the wireless network.

    Any suggestions?

I was able to solve the problem of the printer with ethernet connection to the router that provides network wireless for PC and Mac. Now two machines are able to access the printer with no problems. By connecting with an ethernet cable, connect the printer wireless has been disabled. It had to be done because the wireless radio had become unreliable. The idea was that the blue wireless light never came. Thus by connecting wired LAN, all problems are gone. Speakers are a very personal choice. Better would be those that you love the most. Which may be different from someone else.

Excellent fact Bose pregnant BT that work with your iMac, I like them a bit. However, some say that they can be too bass-ey.

You must listen to the speakers to find the ones you want to use.

Try looking at Bose or Harman Kardon to start. Any pregnant BT should work with your iMac

  • Change the topology without reference to closing

    Hi all

I was wondering if I should be able to change the topology of a MUX (reset) without closing the reference?  I have an application that performs a loop on the base initialization, connect, disconnect the sequence for functions OR-Switch and the topology changes for each loop.  I think that my reference is lost, because it becomes invalid after several loops.  I have to close the reference before I reset with the new topology?  I'd rather not have to close every time, because I 'cleansing' steps that close of references outside of the loop. In collaboration with the PXI-2527, LV 2013 and 2013 TS.  Thanks in advance.
