I use an Apple ID secondary on this device and got the message "cannot control upgrade." An error occurred when checking for the software update. "I have reset the iPad and received a message saying that I need to enter my password after restart of the iPad. I've entered my password and got the message "audit failed. "There is a connection to the Apple ID server error". I then tried to disconnect from iCloud and got the same message. I logged on my secondary iCloud account using Safari on my Mac without problem.

  In summary: cannot update iOS, cannot check my password and can't log icloud for my iPad.

  Any suggestions?

  The only time where Apple will send you a letter about your password is if you click on the "Forgot password" link on one of their sites, and even in this case the email will tell you how change or reset, has not check.

• Windows 10 check 'Remember password' cannot be controlled when you set up an e-mail account. Works on Windows 7

  I had to set up a new e-mail account during the migration of Windows 10. For some reason, Thunderbird stop working so I had to start from scratch. In doing so, I uninstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled using TB 38.2.0. The box to remember my password could not be verified. I deleted the account and the new account e-mail selected to the box. It won't let me check it out.

  I'm sorry, there is no simple way to switch from one profile to another.

  First make a backup of C:\Users\*user name * \AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles. Create all the accounts in the new profile. Now close TB, go to profiles (see above path), then in the old profile. Now (and not move) copy the directories 'ImapMail', 'Mail' and 'News' in the new profile. It may be you have not all directories, according to accounts. Start TB with the new profile and check if everything is back you need.

  Passwords are not copied, and you must enter now when is already done before.

  With SystemCredentialsPrompt, the two fields are "userName" and "password". Instead, I would like to have past and Confirm Pass text fields?

  I'd do it using CustomDialog, but its too much work with layouts and stuff like that.

Then I went on the site Web of BIS to my laptop and tried to make a new account, but when I put the PIN code, it is said the PIN already has one. I checked the message and he said "you have requested a new username and password" then down he says "a user name and password does not exist for this account". If anyone has had the same problem?... can someone tell me to know how to fix? Thank you!

  Make sure the password is actually saved. I think it will be and your getting a misleading error message.
  Menu (alt + T) tools > Options > Security > password and click on the saved password box.
