  I appreciate that you try to connect the all-in-one printer Deskjet 3512 to your network using your Chromebook. I can help you with that.

  Here's how we're going to connect the printer to the network:

  1. On the hand of the printer, screen scroll to settings and press OK.
  2. Scroll up to wireless and press OK.
  3. Scroll to Direct wireless and press OK.
  4. Scroll to the bottom for on (No Security), and then press OK.
  5. On your Chromebook under networks, you should see an option appear with a name similar to the HP Print XX Deskjet 3510. To connect to this network.
  6. In your address bar type 192.168.223.1 and press to enter.
  7. Click the network tab.
  8. On the left hand side under network, you should see an option for the wireless configuration wizard.
  9. Run the Wireless Setup Wizard to add your printer to your network.

  After that, the printer must be connected and you should be able to print. Please let me know if this resolves your problems or if you have any other questions. If not, have a great day!

  I just bought three HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook & HP Envy 4500 ePrinters for members of the family that I am trying to set up.  (I'm new to cloud computing).  Can I scan documents to PDF at the computer (Chromebook) / E-mail of the printer?  If so, how?  When documents arrive on the computer?  If the scan to e-mail is possible on the devices above, can I store several addresses e-mail ePrint in the printer choose?  Thank you!

  Thanks for shouting it and fast response.    No problem on other issues, it is we are here for.

  1. You will need to manually launch the built-in Web server.  What I've done in the past, it's just mark the ip address of the printer is to click instead of having to manually enter the IP every time. It works best if you set a manual ip address of the printer.  I've included a screenshot.
     1. Click on the "Network" tab in the SAP
     2. Click on 'Network' in the left side menu
     3. Click on 'network address (IP)' in the left side menu
     4. Click 'propose a manual IP address.
     5. Click on "Manual DNS server"
     6. For the server DNS preferred manual please enter 8.8.8.8
     7. For the auxiliary DNS Server Manual please enter 8.8.4.4
        
        
  2. There is no way to web analytics by default in pdf format.
  3. The default value corresponds to your "Downloads" folder, but you can switch to "Google Drive".
  4. If you click on the built-in web server Web Services tab, there is an option in the side menu on the left for updates. I've included a screenshot of where to find him.

  I would like to help.

  The blue light is flashing on the printer indicates that the wireless radio is on, but the printer is not connected to a network. This is the situation. You have a new router. The printer must be on the network.

  So the next step is to get the printer on the network.

  The deskjet printers family is usually USB wireless setup.

  This causes an obstacle when you use only a Chromebook.

  Chromebook does not support the software needed to turn the printer on the network.

  If you have access to a Windows or Macbook notebook, the following link will help you place the printer on the network.

  I was delighted when I bought my new HP envy 5530. Prints well and I like the feature where I can emial directly on the printer.

  The big disappointment is the following... I have an Acer Chromebook. Use Chrome Web Store rather than the game store, so I can't download HP eprint. I can't install the software b/c I don't have a cd player.

  Welcome to the HP Support forums.   I understand that you have a Chromebook and your printer Envy 5530 and want to get the program installation and operation.

  The first step is to connect the printer to your wireless network.  This can be easily completed from the front panel of the printer.  If you do not know how do steps are in your User Guide page 55 in the section titled "to connect the product with the wireless configuration wizard.

  Now that the printer is connected to your wireless network, we need to enable the web printer services.  This too can be completed the façade.  Please refer to the code of request for printer if you need assistance. Please set up your account connected HP or HP ePrintCenter.  Using the printer application code, you can now Set Up a Custom E-mail address for ePrint.

  Now that we have customized the ePrint printer e-mail address we can implement Google Cloud Print.  I have included the Google Cloud Print help with your HP printer to guide you through the process.  You should now print with Google Cloud Print.  For any additional consultation, I have included print a Page from Google of document.

  Chromebook sees the printer - but it is listed as offline. Various positions, it seems that I must save this printer - but I have no idea on where to get the record id number. This model does not have the LCD screen. Can someone help me out here?  BTW-printer works wirelessly with my laptop.

  I want to help you learn how to scan from your HP Deskjet 3510 to Chromebook all-in-one printer.

  Because the Chromebook Chrome operating system is a mobile operating system, you can not install the normal software and drivers that you might on a Windows or Mac computer.

  That being said, you can scan your Chromebook using Webscan located in the integrated Web (EWS) of your printer server. Note: The printer must be installed on your network to do this.

  First, you will need the IP address of your printer. You can find this by printing a page of Network Configuration of your printer. Here are the steps.

  • On the printer control panel, press the wireless button (), then press the button () next to settings.

• C720 Chromebook - wifi connection drops

  Overall, I'm happy with this Chromebook after using it for four days. The only problem is that the wifi connection has been doing worse and worse.

  Chromebook keeps dropping wifi signals. To solve the problem, I connected with my laptop side by side with my Chromebook and the laptop has no problem with the same network connection. Chromebook shows the WiFi around 48% when the laptop displays 100%. I disconnected the wifi on my laptop in case there was some kind of interference and I tried with the Chromebook, but which did not help. This problem of Chromebook began a few days after I started using it and seems to be deteriorating.

  Surfing the Web is still possible on the Chromebook because disconnects are sporadic. The main problem is that my VPN disconnects whenever the signal strength decreases. Yet once, my laptop has no problem with the same network, same VPN (and the same VPN server), and in the same place. I have a bad unit?

  So, after many hours of testing... I found a solution.

  In fact, it turn out to be a configuration of router for me.

  I have a Cisco DPC3825 and I had to disable DETECTION FLOOD IP in the Security tab.

  Simple as that.  My router log said the Chromebook sent packets LAN UDP Flood.

  I apologize to ACER Tech Support.

  It might be useful to add a FAQ to this effect.

  Looks like there is a problem with the battery or the power circuit. Best bet is to contact Acer support and to have it fixed under warranty.

  I did online banking on my Windows desktop PC for a few years.

  Does anyone have a trained or experienced, notice to know if banking services online (cloud) with Chromebooks is less safe than on a hard drive?   Connection HTTPS to the Bank online on Google Chrome OS is more secure than other browsers on iOS/windows/Linux operating systems.

  by the way Google Chrome OS is better for other reasons, such as to install applications controlled by Google, so if you don't download app from Google play, you're more protected than to install applications on the web like another BONE.

  I recently bought a HP Chromebook.  I'm trying to set up my Google Cloud Printing to my HP Officejet 8600.  I watched the video to help me with the installation and my printer does not appear in the list of devices.  The video say for me to save the printer using the e-mail address for the printer - I have no idea what this could be.  The printer is connected to the network, like all my other devices will be able to be printed on it.  Can you please help me with setting up my Google Cloud print function?

  If you have installed HP Print for Chrome to the webshop of Chrome (as mentioned in previous posts) and your 8600 was lit during a liitle everything in and then if you start the print dialog then click on 'Change of Destination', you should find your 8600 listed in the section "local Destinations. Just click on your 8600 and voila. If you forget to turn on the printer beforehand, the destination will reset to 'Save as PDF '. If you follow the method that I come here, you be asked for any IP address.

• Chromebook: Printing to the HP Chromebook 8600 office

  I have never had trouble printing from my Chromebook via the Google cloud to my officejet 8600, but it does not work properly now.  When I try to print, it gives me an error message on the printed page, "HP e-print is not available at this time."  I tried to restart the printer and the Chromebook, but the same error pops up.  The internet connection works for other devices in the House.  How can I solve this problem?

  Have you tried to download the app "HP Print' from the Chrome Web Store?

  I installed on my HP Chromebook and then made a "add a printer" when I opened the application.  I said then the IP address of my printer at home (I'm connected to the same network printer is turned on) and then the print dialog box has worked for me.
