Cisco profile series - vs vs C40 C20 C60 codec

Hi people,

Is there an online guide that can give me some information about comparisons between codecs c20, c40 and c60 on video profile 42 series systems and why it has such a big difference in the price that is, what have you found to this extra cost?

Also, is it possible to connect an external projector codec to view the video of the codec on the overhead?

Thank you

Hello.

Yes, it will be possible. You have several inputs and outputs on different codecs.

The main difference between the C series are physiqueet inputs and outputs and call functions.  See the tables below.

Models top means more inputs and outputs.

There are more features than this, but the list shows key capabilities

  • Cisco profile 52/55 double - video screens on a single screen after software upgrade 7.1.4

    Hello

I improved 52/55 to TC 7.1.4 double profile system and it displays more video on two screens at a conference. It displays the contents of the second fine screen. He worked in version 6, so I'm wondering if something changed in the software or endpoint requires additional configuration.

I checked the settings under Configuration > system setup > video > monitors and it is set to Dual. I changed a few times and set it to the double, but this does not solve the problem. I do not see any option button double screen added under system information, but I guess that's an option double screen so it's a dual monitor system.

I need to change any settings?

Cisco has changed how layouts behave after TC6 on C-series systems. If you want your system behave in the same way as a Tandberg MXP more used to work (end of full screen on a single screen) and selfview full screen on the other, you can do the following telnet commands:

    xconfig video monitors: double

xconfig video CamCtrlPip CallSetup Mode: Off

    xconfig video SelfviewDefault Mode: Off

    xconfig video SelfviewDefault OnMonitorRole: second

    xconfig video SelfviewDefault modepleinecran: on

I had a lot of customer complaints after the upgrade and these orders have been tested by Cisco and I've applied to many of my clients and it works.

    Hope this helps your case

If you do not have WLC, you will need to convert this access point in stand-alone mode. See below on this post. You must required image before this conversion. If you have a support contract with Cisco you can download from Cisco.com

  • Question of the router Cisco RV series

    Hello

I have a question. We sell a lot of cisco 800 routers. Now for some clients, we have that they are expensive.

Then we thought about the RV series, but I can't find any good routing performance for these routers specifications.

    If I go to:

    http://www.Cisco.com/Web/partners/downloads/765/tools/quickreference/routerperformance.PDF

I see a lot of details of the cisco product, but the RV series isn't here.

Can someone tell me what are the specifications of performance of these routers? (packets per second, Mbit/s data rate)

    Thanks in advance,

    Tom

  • More small Cisco 800 series + DMVPN?

    Hello

Recently I looked into the possibilities to extend a DMVPN (already implemented) with very remote of small (1-2 user) on a single link to the ISP.

I would use what is essentially the smallest Cisco router supporting DMVPN and EIGRP (heel) - here is an example configuration:

    Tunnel interface *.

    bandwidth *.

    IP address

IP - eigrp hold time *.

authentication of property intellectual PNDH *.

map of the PNDH IP * *.

    multicast IP PNDH card *.

    network IP PNDH ID *.

    Holdtime PNDH IP *.

    property intellectual PNDH nhs *.

property intellectual PNDH registration timeout *.

    tunnel source *.

    multipoint gre tunnel mode

    tunnel key *.

    tunnel path-mtu-discovery

    Ipsec-tunnel protection profile *.

All this accompanied by the overall policy and isakmp transform appropriate.

I know that the 881 can accomplish the above without problem (if it has IP Adv licenses Services).

I would like to know if I can use the small routers (physically smaller, that is) for a similar configuration. Can anyone provide an overview here? Pouvez router Cisco 819 (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10906/ps380/ps11615/data_sheet_c78-678459.html)

provides the same functionality? What the 866VAE router (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps380/data_sheet_c78-693249.html)?

819 does support both DMVPN and EIGRP.

866VAE does not support the DMVPN.

  • Cannot complete Set Up resettlement Officejet 6450 with Mac and N Cisco router series

I have been using - no problem - my printer wireless HP Officejet J6450 with my Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Months later, I upgraded my Mac to Lion.

Recently died my router (Netgear G series) and we had to install and to set up a new-(series N Cisco). Now, I am unable to complete the Set Up for my HP printer. Everything is fine until I get to the final installation and it says unable to complete.

I have been dedicated to support Apple and update of my Mac, hoping their work around go possible, but to no avail. Grateful for the help! Thank you!

I got it, I got it, I got it!

The last whim, it's that I didn't know that I had to install the network on the printer! Once I did and ran the setup of the new wizard it worked! You helped make my WEEEEEKKK! Thank you so much. Wish I could give you 200 Kudos. I would!

  • Cisco 1200 Series AP - expand the network?

    Hello

I have a Cisco AP's 1200 and there are 2 rooms in my house where I do not have enough reception.

Can I use something like a Repeater or a bridge? I have active encryption LEAP.

    Thanks for your help,

    Concerning

Not exactly - the second access point in your case would be configured as a Repeater, so nothing would be connected to it except the power cord. It is tuned for the AP main reason for which the flow of this AP will be half of the regular AP among other things.

What I would do if I were you (because I don't like repeaters) is buy a linksys router and plug the modem cable on it.

This does two things - you have now the possibility to create a network internal behind this 'physical firewall' using the NAT translation. You have also 4 ports that you can plug stuff in to share a connection.

So, you plug the two AP in the linksys box and now you have two RF cells that provide flow high with out having to repeat.

The drawback here is to get a cable to the furthest AP.

The result is the AP do not have to be next to the cable box and you can now location in more desirable places around your home to maximize coverage without sacraficing flow.

The added benefit to protect your data from queries ping not allowed and do'ers wrong trying to pop locks easy.

  • Cisco 1900 series ssl vpn license

    Hello

Since the FL-SSLVPN10-K9 license cannot be purchased, I wonder what are the options on my router CISCO1921-SEC/K9 should I now if I want to use SSL VPN, if any?

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards

I think the best way is to allow the new AnyConnect 4 which is also valid for the IOS-based VPN gateways:

  • block websites Web of Cisco 800 series Router

    Hello

I have a Cisco router running. I want to block certain websites (facebook, twitter, etc.) and download files with extensions such as

*.AVI, *.mp3, *.mp4, *.exe, *.wma, *.wmv and *.torrent etc...

I want to block for some users (based on the MAC address) and allow other users to have access to it on the same network.

    Help me to do this?

    Here's what you do:

IP block ip extended access list

    allow an ip

permit tcp host 192.168.0.100 any eq www

permit tcp host 192.168.0.107 any eq www

I suggested to do the following:

IP block ip extended access list

permit tcp host 192.168.0.100 any eq www

permit tcp host 192.168.0.107 any eq www

    Can't you see the difference?

  • Cisco C, series SX TC6.2 Programmable buttons programmable appeal reserved by system

After the TC6.2, I noticed that all 4 first slots for the mode of APPEAL programmable programmable buttons are now reserved by the system.

The user guide on the other hand always details that all five of them should be available.

No explanation by Cisco engineers why this is so?

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Hello

I think that you have a multiway configured in your system.   In this mode, the buttons are reserved for functions such as hold, RESUME, fusion, new calls.

This was as it's been for multiway is introduced, not only TC6.2 version.
