Cisco VCS Lync Interworking with Lync Server/multiple domains

Unfortunately I don't find any reference in the guides of deploymend, if it is possible to master several server/domains on a single VCSE lync. Is there a way to gather environments different lync with a vcs? For example, interoperability with clients a and b, which have completely separated from lync environments.

We wanted to master it with VCSE, or is the Microsoft key option only avalible for VCS?

Thanks for the reply.

The Deployment Guide says you should use a VCS-control, not a VCS-Highway to serve as gateway of Lync.

I don't think I have several B2BUAs connect to Lync on a single VCS - you would need to have a separate VCS for each Lync environment (IE, one for the customer) and another for client B and search rules appropriate to direct traffic areas in the right direction.

  • Cisco VCS X6.1 and MS Lync 2010 over TLS

    Hi all!

I have a problem of integration CiscoVCS (X6.1) and Lync 2010.

I couldn't configure control VCS to Lync connection over TLS, but I've done with TCP.

If I try to TLS, there is detail = "bad packet length", event = 'Outbound TLS negotiation Error' records in the control of VCS event log.

The VCS and Lync certificates are of the same CA approved with their FQDNs as object names and the VCS and complete Lync with EDCS are in the DNS system. Of course, VCS and complete Lync, what subjects of certificates, used in VCS approved area and host of destination trust app Lync.

Calls for VCS is the intellectual property of the EFF Lync. We use no HLB and administration. Also, VCS is autonomous, without any load balancers or clustering.

Lync signaling is done, but as I see it, VCS cannot send the data back.

    Lync is on Server 2008 R2 x 64

  • I wish I had a client on my PC to communicate with the Lync server, but it does not work.

Evaluation of the VHD Lync 2010 program

I'm quite new to Lync and I'm trying to understand how it all works. I downloaded the virtual computer files and got successfully throughout the environment, but now, I would like to have a client on my PC to communicate with the Lync server but I'm not having any luck.

Here are the servers that I have:
    DC
    Exum
    Lync-Qms
    Lync-Se
    SPS2010
These are all in an internal network and I gave the Lync-SE server outside access, assuming that it's the server that my client needs to communicate with because he runs the Lync server. Initially, I was getting a certificate error. I exported the certificate of the server DC, installed on my client and the client toward the DC server who gave me the certificate number, but now I get an error that the server is temporarily unavailable. I'm far from base here?

  • CUCM v8.5 with 3 SIP Trunks to the Lync Server - Route algorithm of Distribution for the Group

I CUCM connected to three different Lync server via 3 different SIP trunks.

RG is composed of the following elements:

    LYNC SIP TRUNK 1 (1.1.1.1)

    LYNC SIP TRUNK 2 (2.2.2.2)

    LYNC SIP TRUNK 3 (3.3.3.3)

The route group was built with "Top Down" the algorithm of distribution. The first SIP trunk knows congestion and some calls are never routed to secondary and tertiary SIP trunks.

Based on all the forum posts I've seen - it seems that I have to configure the algorithm of group distribution of ranges as 'circular '.

If I change the algorithm group of "Circular" lines - can I expect the following results:

    1. first call will go through LYNC SIP TRUNK 1

    2. second call will cross LYNC SIP TRUNK 2

    3. third call will cross LYNC SIP TRUNK 3

When I change the algorithm of distribution of the route to the 'circular' group and click 'SAVE', I am invited on "RESET".  This service assigns to the existing calls through SIP Trunks?

    TIA,

    Amir

    Hello

the circular algorithm will work the way you mentioned, but I suggest to try and make sure that is not perform integration

to reset the SIP trunk actually active calls should not be made because the gose media directly between endpoint unles syou use something like trust rely wher evous enforce calls to go to the SIP

Therefore, in most cases is should be fine just try configuration at the time of the calls will face service disruption

    hope this helps

  • The band multiple @domaine used in user name on the integration of commercials with Cisco ISE?

    Hello

How to remove multiple domain suffixes through ISE with AD user name used as an external identity Source. Username is used in [email protected] / * / format.

Cisco ISE 1.2 patch introduced 4 Strip prefix or suffix @domaine Kingdom of the username through ISE with AD used as external identity Source. But the documentation is not updated for this feature. I am able to band 1 domain successfully suffix but following conditions listed in the list of suffixes fails to get stripped.

    Any thoughts on the same.

    Thanks Kumar

In the ISE under Administration > identity management > external identity Sources

Choose the Active Directory on the left, select your ad server and Advanced settings

Under identity band of suffix, make sure prefixes band below: is selected (I know, it says prefix).

In the list of Suffixes box, enter your list of domain suffixes to undress.  The separator character is a comma (,).

If this does not solve your problem, then I fear that a call to TAC may be in order.

  • The IOM for Microsoft Lync Server Connector

    Hello

Oracle isn't connector Lync. You can install the connectors Exchange/AD 11.x and after AD/Exch commissioning, you can write a task to run your custom shell of power which can define lync attributes in AD/Exchange.

    Hello

I have a client with an old would invest video and new servers.

    Old video servers

Application of Tandberg video Communication Server Expressway - part number = 1163402

    New video servers:

VCS License Control - Part Number - R-VMVCS-CTRL-K9

    According to Cisco x8.2 Clustering:

-Each peer runs on a hardware platform with equivalent functionality; for example, you cannot cluster one
peer running on one core 2 average VM with peers running on base 8 large virtual machines

Means that the physical old VCS cannot be grouped with new virtual VCS.

    Thank you.

    Hi zizou.

You can include a device VCS with a VCS VM as long as their matches of software and their hardware platforms have equivalent capabilities.

Device VCS clustered with VCS VM running on core 2 MediumVM = YES

VCS machine clustered with VCS VM running on 8 cores LargeVM = No.

"you can even cluster that are running on the standard devices with peers running on core 2 Medium VMs, but you can not group a peer running on a standard unit with peers running on base 8 large virtual machines.

  • Synchronization with a server of VI

I currently have a server / multi-client application I implement with server of VI in LabVIEW 8.6.1.  Call to the server to execute different screws to store/retrieve/process data and the screw store data in files as well as globals function, i.e. an uninitialized moving records within a while loop.  I have a few questions about this implementation:

1 are the calls made via VI server synchronized by VI Server; in other words, not realizing the reentrant Server VI VI never will launch multiple instances of the VI on the server system (I won't for obvious reasons)?

    2. I currently use some of the screws in my app server as static screw and also allow others to call in some of them from remote hosts via the server of VI, and I am concerned about the integrity of the data within my service globals (I took the precaution of open handles for all THE screws I share with VI Server so that they never go out of scope to be used as static or not).  Is this bad?  If I used only the VI server calls in my server application, it would be better (instead of using the 'shared' statically screw)?

    3. when a remote client is called on the server via a VI server, what happens when the VI is busy?  Does my remote call via an error call-by-reference node, or it fortunately waits his turn until the VI can be accessed (assuming that the #1 question is that one instance can never be executed).  I do have several systems to check the conditions of race.

    4. I use this implementation of VI server between Mac and Windows, do I need to be careful (in addition to the obvious path problems)?

    Thank you!

    TarantulaDiaz wrote:

    Only if it's a LIVING.

In addition, even if it is reentrant, the VI server will not open multiple copies unless you set the flag in the options of the Ottawa Valley Railway (you can see the exact value using the primitive).

If I used only the VI server calls in my server application, this would be better?

I prefer the static approach for three reasons:

  • ACS any Version with Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit domain controller

    Hi all

Is there any version of ACS is currently working with Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controllers?

Our server controls has recently upgraded domain controllers to 2008r2 and off 2003 servers. This did not our ACS 4.1.4 really happy.

I read now serveral messages about problems with the ACS and Server 2008r2 and hope to find a solution (not to mention that switching to LDAP, yukk).

ACS currently cannot be installed on a server running Windows 2008 R2.

As an alternative, you can install ACS on a member server.  Authentication

ACS uses the local machine net API authentication both compared to a 2008

R2 domain will work.  The Remote Agent can also be installed on a 2008 R2

    Server if you use devices.

If you install ACS on a member instead server here is how to configure services

to authenticate properly with the domain:
