  • Start stuck on "Please wait for the Local Session Manager."

I would say that this problem started a couple of days. Went to start my laptop (Toshiba) and he sat on the "Please wait" message forever.

Had no problems to start in safe mode. Looked up various ways of addressing the problem.

Was able to change the resume date and back a few weeks ago. Still no luck. Happened to read something on a printer Epson being perhaps the problem driver (it was installed a day before the date of restoration chosen). Uninstalled the drivers, computer still does not start.

Tried restarting running. I do not have the CD it came with Vista, but it was an option when you hold F8 during startup (I think?) Couldn't find any problems.

Ran check on memory. No problem either.

Changed settings for a verbose startup and ran a Diagnostic startup - all good for this. Then tried selective startup load system services... This is when the error occurs. When starting, it hangs on "Please wait for the Local Session Manager" and does nothing more.

I looked in the event viewer to see what came that time and a couple mistakes were:

Event ID 6000: winlogon notification subscriber was unavailable to handle a notification event.

Event ID 7026: the next (s) start or start failed to load system
    spldr
    Wanarpv6

It would be very useful for me not having to run my computer in safe mode automatically all the time, although it is useful that I at least have that option. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    1. by chance your computer is connected to a domain environment?

    2. as you mentioned in your article that you tried the selective startup, I want to confirm if you have disabled the services left 3rd after hide Microsoft services?

If you did not disable these services make sure you disable and then check if it works.

  • x 305-q706 Stuck on splash screen where is says "Qosmio" with please wait...

    Hello

recently purchased a Qosmio x 305-Q706. First time I booted up it gets to start with Qosmio screen displays with "please wait" down and hangs there forever. The only way I can get it to boot is to start cold and purée the key F12 for is loading from the startup screen, if I'm lucky, I can enter the option where you can choose which startup device, and if I manually chose the hard drive I can load windows.

Someone at - he heard of this problem or how to fix it? I tried to change settings in the BIOS nothing. Re-iterate, it is stuck on the screen with Qosmio pslash, and if I press a key on the keyboard once it says "Please wait...". "he brings me just to the bios: (.)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

This is a very stupid situation and I really don't understand why the laptop hangs at this level to start.
Is somehow your Qosmio confused and cannot decide which device should be the first boot device.
What is some external device connected to your Qosmio laptop?

Maybe update the BIOS can help, but if you have all new laptop is not the solution. This is more recent laptop, and I presume that there latest version of the BIOS. So, if I were you I would contact either your dealer and ask for replacement or Toshiba service directly. This behavior is certainly not strange and laptop crashes somehow on the BIOS/POST (Power-On-Self-Test).

  • uninstalled applications, received message: Please wait until the current program has finished uninstalling or one. After several reboots, still same message.

Original title: 2 numbers do not know if they are related

I have 2 questions and I don't know if they are related. Several days ago I was doing some cleaning and uninstalling programs to free up space. I don't know what I started with, but it seemed to go ok. However, after all that I've tried to uninstall gave me the message: Please wait until the current program has finished uninstalling or one. I rebooted the computer more than once during this period, but it still says that.

Then my internet explore has stopped working just for 2 or 3 days. I've been using google chrome to access things, but it is rather slow.
I ran repeated virus and malware scans my norton security and the microsoft Web site, and all said I am clean.

Yes, it's windows 7 I appreciate the suggestions, but the problem was that he wouldn't LET me not uninstall anything. He gave me the waiting message please do anything, and he's not missing if I stopped and restarted. Finally, I gave up. I saved my files to my external hardrive and just do a full recovery of the computer. He solved the problem of installed programs and the internet problem explore both, although I hoped it would avoid going that drastic.

    Hi dbbd,.

Thanks for the answers on the community forum.

This seems to be defined as you said it happens after a reinstall of ITUNES.  Why don't you try not running through the steps in a clean boot process to determine exactly what conflicts with this configuration.

Try step 1 clean boot and see if you get the error, otherwise go to step two, then step 3 and step up to the process that blocks the start is identified.

Article for the clean boot - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796

After you completed the steps in identifying the issue, please be sure to follow the procedure described in step 7 to bring your system back to a normal state.

Thanks, keep us informed on this issue of what is identified as the conflicting service.

  • Please wait screen

A computer of mine stays on the screen "Please wait" after a reboot. But even the save mode does not start. This means that I can't watch in the eventvwr or changing the msconfig. I started the computer with F8 for a restoration of the system, and even when I use a restore point of serveral day back it still hangs on the waiting screen please.

    W_Q

Well, if you can't really get anywhere you have to do a clean install. But in SafeMode if you access the system restore you may not be in the boot. In the safe, you should try the "FUCTION KEY THEN + R WINDOWS" it should ask you 'RUN' maybe you can try to run the system restore, or try to create a new profile.

  • Please wait while Windows configures FAX"... this process stops and I get another message that says:"the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available. "

    Original title: widows installation problem

I have Windows XP Professional running on a desktop older.  I cleaned the disk and I would use it only as a 'internet '.  It works well and response times are pretty fast, but when I connect I get a box that says "Please wait while Windows configures FAX"... this process stops and I get another message that says "the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available", "put the 'FAX' disk and click OK. , "" Use Source: '1' "»

The first question is I do not use a fax application and never did, I have tried every disk I can think of to complete the process, but I get the same message with each one 'the path '1' is not found. "Make sure you have access to this place and try gain or find the installation 'FAX, MSI' package in a folder from which you can install the FAX product." .. then "error 1706 - FAX." Valid any source not found for the FAX product.  Windows Installer cannot continue. »

This will take place two or three times at the beginning upward.  How can I prevent Windows Setup tries to install something that I do not use or do not seem to have?  I deleted any fax program, that I could find on the computer, and nothing seems to work.

    Step 2:

If the problem does not persist in safe mode, and then put the computer in a clean boot state and check if that helps.

After the reboot, I then most of the time have to do a restore to an earlier point; Once in a great while, he'll tell me the test stops abnormally and charge really. Tried to figure what could be causing it and can't find a logical reason. Diagnosis never found anything, but there is not really anything in the windows which diagnosed something as a shutdown of the system.  Help.  It's boring.

    Hi Baron Stewart,

    (1) since when are you facing this problem?

    (2) remember to make changes?

Method 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...)  Except the mouse and keyboard and then try to stop

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Method 2:  Select the boot and then check if the problem persists

Follow step 1 in the link below,
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

    Important:
n ' forget not to put the computer to a normal startup follow step 7 in the link.

Method 3: check the logs in Event Viewer for more information on this problem

    Open event viewer

What are the information in event logs? (Event Viewer)
