If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:

As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the link provided and make a bootdisk of it.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.

Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  • 1 convert to PDF and then restart the computer

I used Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0 Win since January 2014 with no problems until recently. Now I am able to convert a file to PDF, but the next time I try, I get the error message "Adobe PDF creation cannot continue because Acrobat is not activated."

After that I restarted my computer, I am able to convert a single file, then have the same error message and reboot again.

    Can someone help me?

I finally managed to do accept my serial number, and it seems to work ok now. If the answer seems to be to uninstall and reinstall the program.

  • Update of the program says that a previous update needs the computer to restart the computer prior to installation.

Original title : My system keeps thinking there is a update it needs to close and restart to. No way to get rid of this problem?

I'm trying to upgrade a program on my computer, it I get a message that an another update has been installed and to restart the computer to complete the update to previous, but there is no previous updates.

Also if I have "Automatic updates" on, the window keeps popping up that I have to restart my computer to complete the update, but after restarting the computer 10 to 20 times, the message from computer restart keeps coming back.  I had to disable "Automatic updates" in order to get the work done.

I have enabled updates 'automatic' and off several times, rebooted the computer several times.

I'm trying to update Internet Explorer 6 with Internet Explorer 8.

I have not installed anything new recently except the automatic updates, Microsoft sends through.

  • drive CD/dvd starts less than restarting the computer with the disk in the drive

I had to replace my cd/dvd drive as part of a system of relocation. The new cd/dvd drive (actually a used unit gave me my IT dept at work) works very well except for the following glitch. If I insert a cd or dvd disc in the drive with the computer on, the disc does not start, nor the drive appears in the drives available in windows Explorer. But if insert the disc in the drive and then restart the computer, then the computer recognizes the drive and it shows up in available drives in windows Explorer. I ran troubleshooting and fixit, and they indicate that there is nothing wrong with the drive. On the Control Panel, Device Manager recognize my ATA driver and says it works correctly, and windows says my software is up to date ideas? Thank you.

You have a defective/sec connection, when the system is started normally the drive is not detected, when you put a cd in and then restart, the initial process of bios then detects the drive, is available when win starts finally

  • When I click on Windows Update, he says that he cannot work and maybe I have to restart the computer.

Hi, when I click on Windows Update it says that he cannot work and maybe I have to restart the computer. But when I do it always appears with the same. In services, it is configured to automatically update windows and is started. Can anyone help?

    Hello

    Method 1:
You can run the fixit. Check out the following link.
The problem with Microsoft Windows Update is not working

    Method 2:
You can run the fix provided in the link and check out them.
Resolve security issues to protect and secure Windows automatically
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_security_diagnostic/
    Method 3:
You can read the following article.
Cannot install updates in Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2509997
Note: this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. How to back up and restore the registry in Windows:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/back-up-the-registry
Note: if bad sectors are found by running the check disk utility and if the attempt to recover bad sectors is verified when checking the disk for errors, data in the bad sector might be lost in the attempt to recover bad sectors.
    Method 4:
I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.
The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Important: when running Scan disk hard if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when parsing tent repair this sector if all available on which data may be lost.
    It will be useful.

I was doing a reformat of the factory for windows vista on the laptop of my son (packard bell EasyNote LJ 65) when the battery is dead and the computer turned off. • Error "Windows Setup cannot continue. To install windows, click ok to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. "When you try to install Windows.

How can I configure my windows 7 after restoring my laptop to the factory conditians?

My laptop had a blue screen and I couldn't get rid of it, I went into safe mode and restore my computer to factory conditions. When the computer says "the installation program starts services" you stop and I couldn't turn it back on for 15 minutes. When I turned on and tried to contained my setup, a message keeps poping up "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error." Windows Setup cannot continue. To install windows, click ok to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. "But no mader, how many times I reboot my laptop, the same message appears. What should I do? I've restored my computer several times and never had this problem.

    You should try another recovery.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

  • The distribution of applications and data between the disk SSD and HDD

I recently installed an SSD in my Macbook Pro (late 2011) instead of the DVD player. I want to install OS X on it, by replacing the current OS X on the original hard disk, I will continue to use for storing files. How should I allocate its use in car? OS X and applications on the data files on the hard disk of 500 GB and SSD?

The first series of instructions will partition and format the newly installed SSD disk then install OS X on it. The second block will help you configure OS X on the SSD with your data on the HARD drive.

Clean Install of El Capitan on a new disc

    1. Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime, press Command + Option + R until a globe appears.
    2. The Utility Menu appears in 5 to 20 minutes. Be patient.
    3. Select disk utility, then click on the continue button.
    4. When loading disk utility, select the drive (generally, the entry Out-bumpy) in the list aside.
    5. Click the Partition tab in the main window of disk utility. A panel will fall.
    6. Set the GUID partition scheme.
    7. Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled).
    8. Click on the apply button, then click the fact when it is active.
    9. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
    10. Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

How to use an SSD with your HARD drive

If you want to use an SSD as boot with your existing HARD disk drive, as the disk 'data', here is what you can do.

After installing the SSD, you need to partition and format the SSD using disc utility disc. Then install OS X on the SSD. Once installed OSX boot from SSD. Startup disk preferences to set up the SSD as the boot volume.

Open the preferences users and groups. Click the lock and authenticate you. Or CTRL - RIGHT click on your username account list in the sidebar and select Advanced Options in the context menu. You will see a field called "Home dir: ' on the far right, you will see an Edit button. Click on it. In the file dialog box, navigate to the location in house now located on the HARD disk (disk HARD/users/user_name /.) Select the folder, click the Open button. Restart the computer, as shown. When the computer starts, it will now use the home located on the HARD drive folder.

Another more technical method involving the Terminal and the alias is discussed in depth here: using OS X with a SSD and HDD - Matt Gemmell configuration. It's my preferred approach because I can choose which records of the House, I want to on the HARD drive and I don't want to. For example, I like to keep Documents and library files on the SSD because I frequently access their content.

Make sure that you keep the bootable system entirely on your HARD drive where you need it.

Now I can't get the 10.11.6 updating or update my Adobe Creative cloud, incidentally, which became available to me, because I can't restart the computer. Do you know if this update would be better and solve the problem? Is there a way I can get this update even if I cannot restart the computer, or even to restore the system to an earlier version?
