  I solved the problem

  I backed up all my files.  I took my OS xp instalation disk, ran together upward on the repair mode.   He out got me back of Service pack 3 to Service pack 2, but all my files and programs emerged intact.  Then I did the Microsoft Update until I was current.  I did have to use the backed up files.

This laptop is connected to the Internet via the Ethernet cable and switch to my home network, and if a servere Office Vista via WiMAX adapter is connected to the Internet.

  To surf the internet, I use Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 8, attended with Internet Download Manager, and everything was wonderful until last week, when suddenly any compressed or executable file that is downloaded from the Internet are corrupted...   Update(18/7/2010): I found the culprit: I was just appliedOverclocking on the server, just at the moment when the problem started, and settings of the motherboard back by default, all worked OK. It was difficult to find, but when I tried to replace the motherboard - as a final trial - with a newer version, it worked perfectly, but when I changed the settings for the new motherboard to apply improvements overclocking, I was surprised by the return of the problem.
  So the solution is: try to DISABLE overclocking options in the settings of your motherboard!

  1. What is the exact error code or message that you receive, when you say 'Explorer.exe '?
  2. Exactly when you receive this error message?
  3. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
  4. When you say, "preparing your desktop", you see no latency during the Windows logon?

  According to your description, the question may arise due to file system corruption. Thus, I would you recommend to disconnect all the external devices connected to the computer except the mouse and keyboard, restart your computer and check if your screens hung up on "preparing your desktop". Apart from this, I would suggest trying the following solutions and check if the problem persists.

  Method 1:

  The opening of explorer.exe, if you get the error "Server execution failed", then I suggest you to try the hotfix in the following link and check the issue.

  Error message when you try to start Explorer.exe in Windows 7 or in Windows Server 2008 R2: "Server execution failed".

  If this method does not address your problem, try the next method.

  Method 2:

  Hey guys, I recently installed GTA 4 on my PC. After installation, the files have these 3 files, umdf.exe, wmfdist11.exe and wmpappcompat.exe. I tried to install, but an error saying: "not enough memory is available to process this command."   Try to install the game using compatibility for XP sp3

  -To install in compatibility mode close the installation/Setup screen after the autorun of CD.
  Then visit - Start/computer and R / click on the DVD drive.

  Working on a script in PowerCLI which allows me to audit security and re-concile ESXi from the security settings for all our guests.
