  Suppose you wanted a single document of yours in Garamound and another in Times New Roman. So, how are you? Allows to answer this and I think that would help. If not you can always ask for more help.

  If you want to print anything in Times New Roman, just to change font of Times New Roman and use print options page to print.

  Now, how change the police page?
  It turns out that pages provide their fonts in firefox even if you select Times New Roman, always page fonts as he wants. But fortunately we can override this default behavior. Here's how?

  • FX menu go to options.
  • In options, select content.
  • Then click on advanced.
  • In advanced, uncheck the allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selection.
  • Click Ok
  • Now in the previous page, click the default font (Garamound, arial etc.) and click Ok.

  You will display the user interface of the pages changed and now you can print the pages in your favorite font.

  It will be useful.

  I guess you mean not Mozilla Thunderbird. Mozilla Application Suite is a much older than Firefox 3.6.28 discontinuous product (the latest version is dated April 21, 2006).

  You can find references to the VisualAge C++ compiler which is normally necessary to build. IBM has rebranded this product to XL C/C++.

  Press F10, or press the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.

• IBM travelstar external USB compatibility with Portege 3480CT

  I try to use an IBM & reg travelstar in a box external usb with my Portege 3480CT running Windows 2000 (with sp4). While the disc is recognized as plug-and-play on other computers running win2k and winXP, is not recognized on my Portege, which gives an error message suggests that the drivers are missing.

  According to IBM/hitachi (which make the player), no drivers are needed and the drive should work as plug-and-play, recognized as a generic USB HDD. This happens all other computers I've tried.

  Are their compatibility problems with this drive? Or are their special all the drivers necessary to recognize this configuration on the Portege?

  Hello

  AFAIK there is no driver required for external hard drives and they are recognized as plug-and-play. Your Portege is an old unit and there may be a problem with the USB ports. Have you checked the other USB devices?

  It is also possible that there is not enough power, and in this case, it is recommended to connect the drive using USB hub with own power supply.

• IBM Thinkpad Z60t help

  Well, I reinstalled windows xp pro sp 2 on my grandfather's old ibm thinkpad models Z60t, because he gave it to me and I didn't need half of the stuff on the hard drive. So I reinstalled xp and I do not have driver disks or backup discs. I went on the Lenovo site and tried to download the drivers on my desktop and transfer them to my laptop. I reinstalled the wireless driver but it is not working properly. It won't let me connect to the internet. In addition, it doesn't let me put the computer on standby.

  Welcome to the forum!

  A31 shell is slightly different from those used on the A30, but the A30 jury would be in good shape with a DIY. However, A30 Council cannot use P3M CPU, the fastest being 1.2 Ghz, so it would be incompatible with a P4M CPU of your A31.

  A good friend gifted me an IBM Thinkpad G41(#2881) in excellent condition, and it uses a processor MHz Celeron D 2.53.

  I think it uses a processor of type "office" and wants to replace it with a smaller power, keeping the same speed, FSB, etc..

  This may be to ask the 'impossible' (I think that the CROWD support than he came with) but it can't hurt to ask, and this forum seems to be the best place to ask.

  I think there are two versions of the G41, Celeron D has a smaller MOB that hides the Pentium 4 (?), please correct me if I'm wrong.

  All suggestions are welcome, but I really need to know if someone did, (I don't have to blow a working machine!)

  Welcome to the forum!

  All G4x series units use full desktop processors and will not accept the classic laptop processors. Power efficiency is not something they are known for...

  You will need to swap the Board to allow the use of the high-end Pentium 4 HT processors that were available on some units G41.

  Is this useful? Not in my book - and I love G series ThinkPad. In all fairness, Celeron D does nothing to sneeze, and these machines can very usable today with some upgrade in the areas of the RAM and hard drive...

  I have problems with this IBM called 'Spirits of modern mathematics' application that does not appear on the list of apps to report a problem after uploading. I tried 5 times, but all I get is the "small wheel" after install.  I don't know how to send a message to let them know you please fix the problem on the Apple App Store of IBM, but I left a message in the Notes section of the APP.

  I downloaded the free app from the Apple Store before on my iPad mini about a year ago and it worked fine, but I lost all my data... long story... And now I want to get the app to return, but I've tried four times more to download and every time the soft does is display a spinning wheel after opening

  My intention is to let the Apple App Store and/or IBM know that problem, but I can't find a link to report the problem. The only difference from the first download successful and now is that I have updated my iOS to 9.1 of the 9 original on my mini. Could someone please try to see themselves if it downloads and works for them? I have ideas to return this app once loved one for Christmas.

  A lot of banks try to encourage users to install report of Trusteer, without insisting actually install you it. There are many reports on here noting the problems it causes.

• IBM ServeRAID M1015 in a Lenovo D20 4158

  Is that what someone did never successfully install an IBM ServeRAID M1015 in a D20?

  The reason why I ask is that I just tried and failed. I attached the SATA drives with SFF 8087 cable and installed the adapter in a x 16 slot. When starting, I can access the WebBIOS adapter and accesses the card from Windows 7 by using the management software. So far so good.

  The problem is that the card itself does not recognize a single disc (I tried several different types/brands). Suspecting the interruption / resource issues I have disabled the Intel and Marvell card in the BIOS, updated the firmware M1015 etc... no luck.

  -What did somebody ever successfully install a M1015 in a D20? If so, what is the trick?

  Regarding the cutting of Marvell - we have three D20s in use. On each of them this adapter corrupt always any RAID sooner or later (Linux and Windows). Even after a replacement of the motherboard. As much as I love D20, the embedded RAID adapter is really a loss.

  I finally solved the mystery. The problem was the cable. I had three brand new cables. It seems that each of them was defective. Waiting for me who? Right now I'm running a RAID5 that shows no problems so far and works well. It corresponds to current needs. Regarding the adapter Marvell, the problem wasn't that I let go of a volume. The problem was that the data has been corrupted for no apparent reason (State SMART drives all was okay etc.). Thus, so-called if a drive fails I think the adapter to degrade a volume to not corrupt. I had the same effects with three types of different discs from different manufacturers on this map. I disabled this card now that I had a fully functional replacement (and reliable so far) with the M1015. Just make sure that your cables are ok ;-}

• Integrate with IBM RQM Teststand

  I'm trying to implement the 'NI Test integration adapter for IBM Rational Quality Manager' and so far the adapter connects to the RQM Server successfully but throws an error saying that it 'Impossible to detect NI TestStand' but then proceeds to open TestStand and run the verification sequence once the dialog box is closed.  Then, it presents itself as a registed RQM adapter but is listed as "refractory".

  Someone else has had this problem, could you address them and if so, how?  Thank you.

  It turns out that the latest version fo the adapter does not support the most recent version of TestStand without a bit of a hack job.

  From what I can tell, the RQM adapter starts TestStand using either a path or windows registry may be hardcoded to specific versions of TestStand (just guessing) because when I installed TestStand 2013, I have not had any problems.

  I was actually able to operate using the tool of selection of NI TestStand engine version, the version active by setting in 2013.  Then I copied the contents of the directory of the program of TS 2014 to the TS 2013 (after making a backup) so when the adapter goes out and calls TS 2013, it actually launches 2014.

  Like I said I am guessing on the underlying mechanism used by the adapter, but it seems to work as expected.

  Ultimately, however, it is best to use only 2013 to 2014 is supported technically.
