Color HP Laserjet Pro 200 M251n does not in Sleep Mode

Printer: HP color Laserjet Pro 200 M251n

Firmware: 2014-06-04, Version 20140521

Problem:

Since the last update Firmware the printer does not sleep/wake no event (all configured to wake up the printer) will wake up the printer. Even to connect via Webinterfac the printer does not respond. Ping also fails.

Tried to connect the printer to the printer ports / wall plug changed network cables nothing worked.

The only solution is to reset the printer (power off / on) to get the printer working again.

Played a bit with the EcoSmart configuration, but little matter what is selected it its always the same as the printer stuck sleep/sleep mode and don't responde.

Y at - it somewhere the old FIrmware to download to try a downgrade if it would help?

I really don't think there is anythink else I could try.

just to confirm that the last Firmware update solves the problem

If I remember correctly it when, one day in December when it came out

  • Color LaserJet Pro 200 M251n: LJ Pro200 M251n not print not some font sizes

    My new printer does not print text to certain sizes of fonts using Word or Publisher 2010. Until 60pt, it's good, but not 72, 100, or 120. However, it will print 240 pt. It will also display these text elements of the pdf document.

    Is this a driver problem? I use PCL6 but cannot find any drivers on the HP site. Do I need UPD PCL 6?

    I have many Hewlett-Packard printers at work, and I thought it wise to have one at home; but now I wonder.

    I really think it would be better for you to call us. Carefully, you should be able to return the printer and exchange it at the Max Office where you bought it, but it depends on their policy. HP printers usually have a 1 year warranty, so if you call us we will certainly be able to help.

  • LaserJet Pro CM1415fn: Printer does not print clear and precise output

    The LaserJet Pro CM1415fn can print on fabric papers?

    My fabric craft minor wife printed on papers project. She used to tape the corners of the tissue on normal paper first, but this caused the paper to jam. It then continues by gluing the tissue lightly on normal paper with a spray of glue.

    Last week, the two toner cartridges yellow and cyan to run out of ink. I bought 2 new original HP cartridges and installed it this morning when I noticed that the test page is not very clear or sharp as it used to be. Lines and colors are too full. I wonder if the print on absorbent paper may have caused this problem.

    Appreciate your support first clarify if we can continue to print on paper, fabric or not and the second how can I solve this problem.

    I see that you are having problems with the print quality after trying to print on absorbent paper. I want to help you solve this problem.

    Here is a document from the printer's specifications and types of paper supported. Tissue paper is not recommended.

    Specifications for HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fn and CM1415fnw color multifunction printers printer.

    Calibrate the printer.
    On the printer setup, configuration of the system, the print quality menu tap and select the item in the color calibration.
    Select calibrate now.

    Print a Diagnostics Page and print a Page to see the results.

    (it might be a specific toner, the origin of this problem)

    On the printer, press setup, menu reports, diagnostics page.
    On the printer, press setup, menu reports, print quality page.

    I have a document with a few steps to try to see if this will solve the problem.

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see when you print pdf documents to your HP LaserJet Pro M251nw Color it prints with the footer moved all the way to the top.  If you print as an image only it remains where it requires.

    1. what program you are using to print PDF files from?

    2 have you tried to update the program?

    3. this happens in all programs or just one?

  • HP Laserjet Pro CP1525nw, WiFi does not work

    I need help to connect my HP Laserjet Pro CP1525nw printer to my Alienware computer.

    I tried setting up as a wireless printer and nothing I do works.

    I tried to use the CD Rom supplied with the printer. I also downloaded al the drivers on the HP site and tried those.

    After each attempt to set up the printer for wireless operation, I removed / uninstalled drivers and software and all reinstalled as directed.

    When you attempt to install ast I selected the Option that is suppose to set up an Ad Hoc device.

    I have reset the printer settings to factory default, active internal wireless system (on) and blue light (on) indicating that the printer is wireless and transmission mode.

    My computer is not identiifying or acquire the HP printer?

    Overview - problem number 1. After inserting the CD-ROM installation, following the instructions on the screen and observing the facility to deal with "that took a lot of time" instlation process gets to 99% and stays there for a long time. "After a long period of time a MESSAGE of error to indicate (to paraphrase)" process went long to complete "if it please restsart your computer and try reinstalling the device..." I repated this step several times over a few days and several hours without success.

    Note: The only success I've had has the printer with the USB port connected to my infographic.

    Additional information: our home network is ATT Uverse all-inclusive (telephone, Internet, cable)

    My Alienware computer is connected to the internet through Att Uverse, no problem.

    Operating system - Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate with all current updates.

    Viruse protection - McAffee Security Center (computer is fully protected):

    When I updated to the latest HP driver from the HP Support/drivers page, my MFP stopped scan from either a wireless network or directly connected setting.  It seems that if I scan the bed itself, I can scan when the print/scanning felt connected to my Mac, but the real problem is the document feeder.

    I also updated all THE updates Apple, including the HP Easy Scan application.

    When using the document feeder, the process initiated as it should... the first page scans, but does not appear in the HP scanning software... then 10 minutes later, the second page scan (same not result... no picture)... can I get a document could not load the error or something.  When this happens... I can't try to scan anything more until I have restart the MAC and printer.

  • Multifunction color HP LaserJet Pro 200: I can't print to my HP printer using wifi, it was working and stopped after the electricity blackout

    I got my printer to print via wifi and it was working fine but as the power went out a few seconds this morning, it will not be printed.  I even reset the wifi but does not always print.

    Well, for this issue:

    1. Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector.
    2. Turn the printer off.
    3. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
    4. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.

    Now, on the printer, click on the wireless icon that looks like a radio tower. If you see a line indicating the status: not connected, click on settings and Wireless Setup Wizard to connect the printer to your network.

    Finally:

    1. Click on start and open devices and printers.
    2. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    3. Click on remove the instrument.
    4. Click Add printer, and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your PC.

    Yes, the page yield is 700 because they are introductory toner cartridges.

    Drum life lasts the life of the Toner Cartridge. The drum is an integral part of the cartridge.
