  If the guest account is disabled until you'd P2V and then it is always disabled now. You should activate on the physical computer, make sure that the local security policies allow you to connect and then re P2V it.

  So I created a user account with administrator rights because I had problems with other accounts of user download of malware and viruses on my computer.  Unfortunately, I've changed the password one night when I was very tired and now draws a complete blank on what it might be.  Time has passed and I have tried everything I can think enough to know that I'm up a Creek trying to remember this password.  After that some searching around, I learned to start safe mode to access the hidden administrator account, which does NOT produce the hidden administrator account.  Then I read about access to the cmd as administrator, but that doesn't work either because he asks me the password I don't remember.  If I try to run cmd with "net users administrator / Active: Yes", receives a message indicating "system error 5 has occurred, access denied.  Same thing if I try to enter "net user *", and then click the password twice to clear it.  I know that I have set up with administrator access the user account is different than construction administrator b/c if I go 'lusrmgr.msc' in the search/run box on the start menu, then clicking on 'users' I can see that they are two separate accounts.  When I click with the right button on the built in Admin and select Properties, it shows a check in the box "account is disabled".  If I uncheck this box, I gives me the error message "access denied."  If I try to go the other route and check the "account is disabled" on the user account that I set up with administrator access, I gives me the same error.  If I try to delete the setting of administrator group of the user account that I set up with administrator access I'm access denied once again.  All this is considered... other ideas or tips? I read somewhere that apparently since I created a user to have admin access, hidden admin is disabled by windows automatically for safety.  I really hope this isn't the case!  I'm very hesitant to use a tool to reset password to a third party if I have to, but I'm running out of options and it's been months.  I appreciate any help, tips, reviews, etc.  Thank you!

  You cannot administer a computer unless you are an administrator.

  The built-in account is disabled if there is another admin account.

  There is no way around it, or it would not be safe.

  Don't forget the computers are not safe during execution.

  The guest account works differently from a normal user account. It works more like a temporary account.

  I found the answer to this one, if anyone is interested, even if the solution required a work-around on the way. Suggested HP support I have just uninstall and install software downloaded from their site (PS_AIO_04_C4500_USW_Full_Win_enu_120_210.exe). This indeed solve, and another problem I had (see network & Wireless forum), but this download is missing the software package I.R.I.S. OCR, presumably for reasons associated with 3 rd-party lisensing. HP support insisted that this download was the OCR, but the OCR .exe is certainly missing. Workaround needed to go back and re - install the CD software, then uninstall everything except the OCR package (you can do), then install the downloaded version. My PC still takes too long to start, but it's probably the combined effect of each software package, I never installed wanting home phone so that it loads.

If I understand correctly, with port mappings, I now sharing comments accessible can be used by anyone knowing my ip/hostname. Is there a logical way to separate it? I was able to give to everyone on my LAN users or is there a simpler way?

  Chills run to the top of my spine.  I guess that you have open SMB in the world?  I know it might be convenient, but it is not wise to expose this service.  Ideally, I would recommend the service behind a VPN security.  Yes, your users will have two stages (auth to the VPN and then connect to file sharing), but your environment will be safer.

  Now, if you choose to leave the open port, the only way to safely reach a share of comments on the local network is to use a protocol that is not passed through the firewall.  For example, SMB is available to authenticated users on WAN and LAN, but AFP is available only on the local network and it supports the part of comments.  I still recommend perimeter security, but it is a "logical" way to separate.

  In addition, using unique connections is highly encouraged.  This brings back us to the ineffectiveness of a shared wireless key.  Once share you it, it is no longer a secret.  If you have 10 people on staff, and everyone knows the password wireless, which prevents the person driving to the office Friday shot you Sam and connect to your network?  Implementation of services of files with accounts of common use is just as bad.  A little lame like every password changes a Wi - Fi, person network all changes the credits has no password.  For that freelance account with the freelance password remains, even after crossing 10 freelancers.  What happens if we decide to be malicious?
