    Hello

I really hope that someone can help me! I've read through dozens of discussions without results. The laptop I use for establishing the budget, research and games has Windows Vista.  I was downloading of test (probably too at the time) and my system crashed.  I do not have the installation disk, or pre-installed her "takeover of marketing", did the thing F8 nothing helps and I can't afford to lose any files.

I get absolutely no where but back to screen Windows Boot Manager telling me that Windows was able to start.  The following information is referenced:

    Hello

Via F8 safe mode is not an option for you, try a startup repair and / or a system restore using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft

Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

Unfortunately, you have to buy it.

  • 0xC0000221 error windows didn't load a critical system driver is missing or corrupt.

Hey, I got a letter on my laptop to install service pack 2 for windows vista and I did it with no complications until I reset my laptop and when it came back I received an error:

Windows could not start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To solve the problem:

    1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
    2. choose your language settings, and then click "next".
    3. click on "repair your computer."

If you do not have the disk, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

    File: \Windows\System32\drivers\ecache.sys
    Status: 0xc0000221
Info: Windows could not load a critical system driver is missing or corrupt.

I followed these instructions several times and made repairs to start ending telling me that "Windows cannot repair this problem automatically" and "If you recently set a device to this computer, like a camera or portable music player, remove it and then restart your computer." I have nothing connected to the computer.

I also tried to restore the system that is not no matter how far back that I try to restore to.

Take your laptop computer to a local computer repair shop, reputable and independent.

  • Critical system errors to driverframeworks

to interperate error codes so I can understand how to solve the problems. I have 2 critical system for driverframeworks-usermode errors 3 times in the last week

I have a base system device that is not configured correctly. I tried to get windows repair, check online for a fix or give a solution to the problem. He had none. I uninstalled the driver for the device and it says now it's ACPI Dev 4 2 function, and that it is not configured correctly. I tried on 3-4 scanners of driver in addition to MS automated troubleshooting services who had a runtime error and deny access. I am at a loss on how to correct this problem. So, I started to investigate the newspapers, but I need help.

    Hi Debra,

Thanks for the tip. I usually run maintenance to clean and defragment my fairly regular drive, but I ran the service ms anyway. I had activated the option for the service detect and automatically fix problems, but instead, he presented a report and said "not run" next to each, so I ran the manually. History and shortcuts have been made recently and reading 0 MB. He said that the time is out of synchronization, so that I have it sync with time.windows.com. It is only a few minutes, so I don't know how critical that would be. I ran the scan of disk volume and it passed. Disk space is 25,915 GB used 55,883 Go, the version of windows 6.0, x 86, 12/04/2010, system maintenance pkg to. Microsoft Corporation 2.0, 1.25 GB of RAM, 32-bit sys, the 1578MB paging file, together for better performance of the program. One thing that I put that crawl on the system was the DEP. I put for all files, so it's fairly intensive. I tell myself after that just if long, no problem I'll put it in default. I think that perhaps when windows was loaded originally this time, the file was never loaded. It seems I have a sector damaged in my cd/dvd drive, which could have caused that. But I am still confused, because you would think that I would have been able to find a repair or replacement it somehow, and I tried many things with no results. The problem is not resolved, but it is tolerable at this point, because if it was a dramatic problem I wouldn't still be in business, and I'm here. I will continue to study at the best of my ability, however, to all purposes useful I will mark it as a response until these times he deserves more attention, or if what I will meet a solution. Date to which I will come back and tell you what I found. Thank you for your patience and answers.

  • Cannot use Bit Locker encryption because Bit Locker critical system files are missing or damaged.

    Original title: file corruption

My laptop is around the age of 13 months. For the 6 months charges I couldn't play all the music in the music library of the media player. the error message would say my music files have been damaged or corrupted. I tried to delete the files, but could not. unexpetedly about 2 weeks ago the media player has started working properly, and even though I was confused, I was happy to be able to listen to my music. However, when I did my weekly back, a message appeared that said that some files could not be backed up. My computer has since fallen twice and had to repair itself and then when I tried my weekly backup only yesterday, the computer won't start backup. reads the error message: Bit Locker encryption cannot be used because the Bit Locker critical system files are missing or damaged.

I find it strange that "file corruption" has been cited again but when I try recommended fixes, nothing changes, just as it was when I had problems with the music. Help, please

  • HP 8710p BIOS could not update - now infinite LOOP - trying to find - please help!

Hey all. I've updated my friends to f.20 bios system - and it now appears that the bios update failed, and then it restarts.

It is an endless loop - which never lets me boot in windows - so I can't go back to a previous version of the BIOS.

I have read around forums and discovered a method to try an emergency recovery by getting the rompaq bios and by holding down the Windows key + B when I turn on the system.

Just buy an external USB floppy drive to try this emergency recovery.

I tried the USB - but it wouldn't work.

I get different results here - but not what I want.

With the USB floppy plugged: when I press Win + B - seeing traffic flashes so far much more time, looks like it initializes the floppy drive (green light comes on for a moment) - but then nothing - just flashing caps lock for a little and then finally a restart again in the fate of loop. It never appears to start to read the diskette or find a bios file.

What I am doing wrong? What can I try? The disc must be leabeled a certain way? Should it be renamed my BIOS file?

    Any help would be GREAT!

I had a very similar experience.  Here is how I fixed it.

Download sp41954.exe hereor search for it.

Double-click the file to launch the application.  If you use Vista or later, close the program, go where he extracted (C:\swsetup\sp41954) and search for the FirmwareUpdater.exe file.  Right-click on the file and select Properties.  Click on the Compatibility tab and select "run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3).  Open FirmwareUpdater.exe and create a startup disk.  If you are using XP, you can create the sp41954 startup disk directly.

Turn the laptop off.  Connect the floppy drive USB with the newly created on the portable computer diskette.  Hold all four arrows while turning on the laptop.  Continue to hold down the four arrows until you see the num-lock or flashing caps lock key (don't remember which).  He should be reading the disk.  After a minute or two, the laptop should restart and operate normally.

When I did, I disconnected the laptop and removed the battery.  I don't know if it was necessary to remove all or not.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 and Bose Companion 5 speaker system lose sound intermittently.

I use Windows 7 Ultimate RC, bought the version complete, simply have not yet installed.  I also use speakers Bose Companion 5.  Card mother Asus M3A79-T Deluxe and an AMD Phenom II processor.  My problem is this, my speakers work for a period of time, usually less than a day, then all of a sudden they'll stop working, is in the middle of playing World of Warcraft, viewing a video, whatever, all of a sudden they just stop working.  The speakers are still reported by default in the sound settings and remain are worth in the hardware Manager, I can unplug the USB and plug it back and he presents himself as the work, etc. but no sound until I restart the computer.  I do not use a hub and have tried different ports, please help.  I read around other people have problems with the function of ' cool n quiet AMD acting, but mine is disabled by default in the bios and I also ran the AMD power monitor, the two have no effect, I always lose her completely and randomly.

None of this works... the problem still exists.  I thought I had resolved in the power settings... If you go to advanced there is a place to turn off USB, select suspend settings, it worked for 3 days this time before deciding to just turns off again.  Anything that you can do to watch it all would be appreciated.

You encounter a driver problem, and the only real solution is a driver of his best. You should keep control of driver updates, if you want to use the devuice in Windows 7.

  • critical system services is wuauclt.exe running at 99%

Need a solution to stop this.

    Hi Deepak,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft community.

Windows Update AutoUpdate client. It is a background process that verifies with the Microsoft Web site for updates to the operating system. It appears on the list of the Task Manager process when waiting for a response, as if to confirm permission to download an update.

The wuauclt.exe file is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. In other cases, wuauclt.exe is a virus, spyware, Trojan or worm.

    Method 1:

Check the location of the wuauclt.exe file and if it is found in any other way then one mentioned above, it might be a Virus or a Trojan horse. I suggest that you run the Microsoft Safety Scanner. See links.

    Microsoft safety scanner.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

You can also run the malicious software removal tool. Check out the link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/PC-Security/Malware-removal.aspx

Note: as precautionary measure, backup important data located on your computer before you run the scans.

    Method 2:

Follow the steps and check out them.

    a. navigate to the location C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore

    b. press ctrl + A.

    c. press SHIFT + DELETE.

    d. restart the computer.

Try these methods and let us know if it helped to solve the problem.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
