Compatibility with video cards CC 2015

PNY XLR8 GeForce® GTX 980 with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory for compatibility with CC 2015 what?  I don't see it in the list of video cards.

Any card with a device compatible-current of the vendor driver should work just fine

Are you talking about a specific program, such as Premiere Pro?

  • Compatibility with video cards

    Hello

I am trying to add a new MSI video card to my Envy H8-1414 office. It's the map:

    http://us.msi.com/product/VGA/N660_Gaming_2GD5OC.html#overview

When I add the map with the OEM PSU, I get 6 long beeps. I added a block of POWER W 550 and the beeps go, but I have no video. I contacted MSI and they say that power is sufficient, but I need to check with HP to ensure that the BIOS can support the map. I checked the HP support site and I see no BIOS updates for this machine.

The card is PCI Express x 16 3.0 and 2.0 just says HP motherboard so I wonder if it is simply not compatible.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

Temoporarily remove the new video card. Connect your display to the video embedded right on the port at the back of the PC.

Enter the BIOS and go to the Security tab click on secure boot configuration.

The next screen will resemble the following image. Press the F10 key to commit the change

Verify that secure boot is set to disable. Press the F10 key. Exit the BIOS. Shut down the PC and install the new video card. Plug the connector of display on the appropriate video output port. Turn on your PC

HERE, none of them.  I recommend the following manufacturers, XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire & PNY, in that order.  These recommendations are based on personal knowledge, as well as several years of hanging around in the forums of enthusiasts.

  • Compatibility with video cards with an old PC

Hello, just a quick question. I looked through my old Compaq CQ5110F PC Windows Vista for a while now and I have a few quiestions.

1.) can I put food to maybe a range of 600 Watt? If so, can I have a link to a good quality diet?

2.) I also looked in a new graphics card. I was wondering if this graphics card would be repair / and or be compatible with this PC? http://www.Amazon.com/XFX-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-FX775AZNP4-FX-775A-ZNP4/DP/B007Z3T5JC

(3.) I have a new Windows 8 with a 1 TB hard drive, maybe I can do that one replace the 320 gb hard drive in it?

Now I know that Compaq is not in the ideal age, I mean its a 09 model, so if I can't put the graphics card, I had in mind, I would like to do the best I can, if you get where im at right now.

Thanks, and I appreciate any info anyone can provide!

    Hi HammerKnee,

Your motherboard has the nforce 430 chipset, The latest drivers released is for windows Vista, But as i found Windows 8 should have the correct drivers compatibility preinstalled and support your motherboard chipest, so there should be no problem install it on your computer, you can find the information on the next link: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductDetailsViewer?Type=Hardware&Name=NVIDIA+GeForce+6150se+nForce+430+Motherboard&ModelOrVersion=&Vendor=NVIDIA&Locale=&LastSearchTerm=&BreadcrumbPath=&TempOsid=Windows+8

On the RAM, the motherboard has 2 slots for RAM and DDR2 support on these speeds:

    • PC2-5300 (667 MHz)
  • Sharing RAM with video card

Hey. I have Samsung laptop with video card ATI radeon x 2300 (128 MB) and 4 GB of RAM. I heard that there is a possibility to share some of the RAM of your pc with video card. I don't use all the RAM so I think it would be very good luck to increase the performance of the video card. Is it possible to do this? :)

    PS same thanks before.

Here is the procedure (if supported by your device and your BIOS): http://www.ehow.com/how_5924855_adjust-ram-used-video-ram.html.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Windows 7 Compatibility Center video cards

The Windows Compatibility Center contains 40 video cards are compatible. Is this all? I need an AGP8x card or I guess I could run just old XP easy to use and reliable. 7 doesn't impress me a lot.

The ONLY way (even with the Compatibility Center) to make sure a video card is actually compatible and supported by its manufacturer is to check with the video card manufacturer themselves.

  • Compatibility with graphics cards

    Hello

What I want to know is; slot power of PSI-e x 16 my motherboard will not work with a card PCI-e 2.0 or 2.1. I know, that it may be that one or the other. I'll give a link with my motherboards information: http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/pegatron-2a6c-corporati...

    It's the card I want: http://www.amazon.com/XFX-HD-677X-ZNFR-Edition-Dual-Lin...

If it's not compatible I would appreciate if you could suggest another card about $ 100 estimated price I would be very grateful.

    I know

Did you know how inexpensive the PSU are? A 750W for $ 80, cheap? In addition, I have a 400W that I never had time to swap.

My diet isn't so much my concern as long as it is or not compatible. Other people told me recently as a PCIe - x 16 is obsolete and that a 2.0/2.1/3.0 would still work. They would be backward compatible. They also recommended a video card that can draw out of 400W and play games such as Bf3 while being a bottleneck. So, you're inexperienced in this area or something? Why can't explain the history as my friends did it? Shame shame Mr.

  • HP Slimline problem with video card?

    Hello

I got a Slimline s3020n for a few years and have never had a problem with it. A few days ago when I turned it on there is no picture on the monitor except the box that is displayed when you turn it on and it says: "no signal". I plugged into another computer to the screen to see if the monitor was the problem and it worked fine. I swapped the hard drive thinking that might work, but still had the same problem. All lights turn on and it seems that everything works (hard drive, fans) which leads me to think, maybe it's a problem with the video card. My question is if you have advice on what could be the problem and I think that the video card is integrated into the motherboard, so I have to replace the whole motherboard to fix this. Thank you.

    -Chris

    Chris,

Your PC has built-in video on the motherboard.  If it is simply a matter of graphic, a low profile card could be added to the system.   However, you can view the following link - depending on when you purchased your product - you may qualify for an extended warranty - the problem, he describes sounds similar to what you mentioned.  I found this on the page of the product of the s3020n, btw.

  • transfer files from your old computer with video card damaged to new computer

my old computers video card is damaged can not read anything on the monitor. I want to transfer files to my laptop. Old computer has windows xp new computer has windows vista. I can do this with just an easy transfer cable?

    Hello

Put the hard drive from the old computer in the new computer as a 2nd drive. Or turn the player
in an external USB enclosure. Or the other must allow you to access the files.

    I hope this helps.

Hi, today I bought a Free back of HP 250 G3 - J4T62EA version. I installed Windows 7 64 bit and the drivers located on the HP website. I am facing a problem with my video card in the video display. In the video window, in any program, top of the video seems to move at a different speed, resulting an image of scrumbled. • WITH video card driver, windows freezes after 10 seconds after the Welcome screen, WITHOUT a driver, it works fine

    Hi guys,.

I recently had the problem that when I start my computer, it freezes after 10 seconds when I saw the Welcome screen.
I'm in safe mode, it works perfectly fine. I have uninstall ALL my Nvidia drivers and then restart the computer in normal mode, and then everything works fine. I go to the Nvidia website again, download the latest drivers and the same freezing problem happens again. I also tried with older drivers provided by Nvidia, still the same problem.
Completely, I formatted my HDD and reinstalled Windows 7. I install drivers Nvidia and the same problem again.
    I have a Nvidia Geforce 250GTS
The processor is Intel Duo Core converted E6850 (boxed)
4 GB of Ram DDR2 Ram
East of card mother ASRock G31M-S

Everyone knows that the problem is?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English, I tried my best :)

    Hello.

The video card drivers enable the features of the card to use.  When in safe mode or with no driver installed only the basic functions of the card are used.  If the card is faulty, which is more likely, the defective part of the map has probably come into play with the full drivers installed.  This explains why it works with the Basic setting.

    See you soon.

  • Satellite A10-S403D - new compatibility with WLAN cards

    Hello

My sister has a quite old but still good job * Satellite A010-laptop S403D *, which has been upgraded a bit during the time. The only problem we have is the Mini-PCI Wireless card, it seems that the chip Intel 802. 11 b is dead, the card is not detected.

I intend to get a new card for his laptop, but I heard that some cards may not work at all on this subject. I use a Wireless-N router at home, and the card I want to buy is one * TP - Link TL - WN861N *.
My question is, is this card to work with his laptop? In which case it wouldn't work, we could suggest me? (preferably a 802.11n capable)

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Kind regards
    Isha

    Hello

Hmm and why you buy the same t n card Intel again? I mean this card has been tested and works 100%. In addition, you don't need new t or other drivers, you can use the current drivers.

In addition, you can upgrade to project because you need 3 antennas. Such an upgrade is not possible.

  • Problem with video card satellite A500-1GH (I think...)

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my A500-1GH. Randomly the screen goes black and then recovers by showing a message "display driver stopped responding and was retrieved successfully." My graphics card is Nvidia GeForce 330. I read many things, but all reviews were old - since the beginning of the year and nobody has solved this problem then. Do you know if there is now a solution for this?

The laptop is brand new (respectively the windows is brand new) and the drivers and bios are up-to-date.

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hello

Yes, it is a known problem with the vga driver in this forum. Already, you said it yourself, nobody has solved this problem :( I can just recommend you try to install a vga from nvidia.com driver. In my case, I have NVIDIA Gt 230 M, driver update has solved.
