Video card driver displays an error message after reformatting computer with Vista
I reformatted my computer using windows vista and I kept getting an answer that the used copy was an illegal copy of windows. In the meantime my computer was working fine. I called Microsoft and they verified that it was not an illegal copy and gave me an additional code to activate windows. After activation, my image of the screen became smaller with a border of 1 inch black around the screen (I have a widescreen monitor). I tried to correct this problem and have discovered that my video card driver has an error message saying that windows has stopped this device because it has reported a problem. I tried to reinstall the latest version of the driver, update to windows vista and tried all the suggestions that have been proposed on the microsoft Web site, and it still doesn't work. I reinstalled everything again with the same problem. Can you please help me solve this problem. Thank you.

Unable to display the error message using the controller extension

I am trying to extend standard iproc CheckoutDistsCO. I have to display the error message when the quantity entered is '0 '. So I wrote logical when you click on the apply"" button. I created an extension CheckoutDistsCOEx & written logic here... but I am able to see messages in the log file, but no error message on screen.
After having many forums I place super.processFormRequest (pageContext, webBean); at the end. It start always error message.
Standard CheckoutDistsCO has a logic in the button apply. I think it is the substitution of the extension code... How can I fix? Pointers appreciated please

If I understand correctly, you cannot open files on Windows Home key and it freezes everything in browsing the internet.
Please answer these questions to better understand the issue:
1. what happens when you try to open the files?
2. What is the file format of the files?
3. do you use the Internet Explorer browser to surf the internet? If so, which version?
4. don't it freezes on any particular website?
5. do you have Windows 7 complete edition also installed as a dual boot on the computer?

The problem started after I installed Norton 360. I have not installed new hardware.
I'm not biased. I'm not an advocate for the Member States. I have been involved in the MS newsgroups since 2003 and have seen what Norton (McAfee) and can do. Especially for an e-mail client.
I saw, too, what MS has produced over the years and don't like a lot of their programs. I feel, however, that they got the right MOUSE. It is not a resource hog like Norton is a thing. (BTW. IMHO, Norton was a great AV program until Peter Norton sold the company to Symantec).
I saw many problems corrected over the years with the removal of Norton. The most common problem people have when vendors group with their Norton software free trials. Once enabled, run that the removal tool is a must if the user wishes to use a different AV program

The problem started after I installed Norton 360. I have not installed new hardware.If you have spent a lot of time on the Norton forum and believe my advice to be bad, why not offer the OP is something that you think might be useful rather than criticizing me.

3. to access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs.
4. a tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. You will see a button resembling two pages. Click on the button and close Event Viewer. This places a copy of the report to your Clipboard. Paste it into the body of your message. Make sure that it is the first dough right out of the event viewer.

I get the following error every time I try and start Asherons call on a new Dell Latitude E5510 laptop.
The game has encountered a fatal DirectX problem trying to start.
Try a different screen resolution or bit depth. If this does not work, try new video drivers.This error occurs just after clicking the world to enter.
- I have a fresh install of Win7 64 bit (entirely the window update)
- The latest Intel HD - v8.15.10.2622 01/10/2012 graphic card driver.
- A sweet DX 9 and DXDiag and 11 installation reports no errors.
I lowered res video and depth of color, but without result.
Digitized internet and found others with the issue but no resolution, I could see.
Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
I love a solution restored for the following driver and the problem resolved.

i. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
II. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
III. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
IV. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
v. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
VI. click OK.
VII. When you are prompted, click on restart.
VIII. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
If the problem is solved, check what third-party software or program is at the origin of the problem, referring to the link given below:
