  Lets try something simple and see if it works.

  1 try to stop the app to do this, double-click the home button to see the app selector, and then locate the application and it slide up and leaves the app.

However, our network (which uses the WSP) is not yet displayed in the list of available wireless networks.   1. I talked to the ISP and excluded all router problem.
  2. There is only one other pc connected to the network. We connected the other phones before and never had a problem.

  According to me, it's that the laptop is old and may be damaged. A grumpy at work looked for me and we can't even get a wired connection works.

  I'm not very tech savy and I'm not the owner of the PC, so I don't know all about it so go easy on me :).

  If your friend tried to reinstall Windows by using the defined gateway recovery disc (and this is the best way) and this recovery fails, the laptop has hardware problems. Disassemble laptops is a fickle business at best and while it sounds like the hardware problems started before your friend did this, it may have put the nails in the coffin of the laptop to take apart.

  At this point, you can try troubleshooting hardware or your friend can take the laptop to a competent professional (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place). However, if the laptop has had hard use, your friend must remember that a cell of 4 years with major hardware problems probably won't be cost effective to repair.

  Tuesday February 11 I turned my hp Compaq nx7300 off I saw that she was installing updates I thought that nothing of what I had set to automatic updates. The laptop then ran restoration of boot, but he was not able to repair itself and turns off.   I tried to start the computer in safe mode, but it does not work.

  I tried to do a system restore but evertime I tried it there was an error, I tried all eight restore points but all back "an unspecified error occurred during system 0x800700b7 restore.

  "In restoration of start I clicked on ' view diagnostic and repair details" it said all tests have been performed with success, but at the bottom it says ' root cause found - boot critical file D:\Windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe is corrupt.

  I had to reinstall windows 7 pro three times so far and have now developed to the point that it is KB2479628 update of MS that is causing the problem. I the have not installed this time and have had updates to the manual

  What can I do about this problem, I spent at least 20 hours on this problem now, and looking for the many other forum of people seem to have similar problems. I'm worried that KB2479628 will settle by accident when I want to install some other updates?

  My computer laptop originally had Vista Business top but has been upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit, clean install, I use Microsoft Security Essentials, I've never had installed norton or macafee.
