  • Windows 8 does not recognize the scanner

I have two printers on network, a brother MFC9840CDW and a HP Photosmart Premium C410.  Both are multifunction devices and both are recognized by Windows 8 as Printers , but not the scanner. I uninstalled the drivers for the HP and reinstalled the but the scanner is still not recognized.  I can't reinstall the Brother drivers because the brother website says it uses the native player of Windows 8 and therefore does not download.  I have tried both Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Pro to address scanners and neither of then is recognized by both programs.  Using Windows 7 machines on the same network, however, both are recognized as scanners, so clearly, it's a matter of Windows 8.  In addition, HP and brother have Windows 8 'apps', HP Scan and Capture and Brother Print and Scan, respectively.  The fact HP application recognize the scanner HP; application of brother do not recognize the scanner Brother.  I'm confused and need help!

Don't forget to directly connect the scanner to the computer of victory 8 to test scan. Scanner-printers on network that are connected to another computer on the network can share the printer but not sharing the scanner. Scanners should be connected directly and use the software on a computer to scan. The exception is a network Wireless scanner-printer connected to the network router.

Your printer HP scanner will scan with windows 8 if it is attached to the computer in windows 8, since the drivers are available HERE Connect that one to the computer that you use most for scanning and sharing the printer with other computers. And the Brother machine is also compatible with the drivers from This SITE , it is also presented as a printer scanner wireless network that you can connect to your router and share it on the network. Get directions to connect to the router of brother.
  • HP Envy: HP Envy does not recognize the Scanner

I have a Brother MFC-9130CW all-in-One printer, scanner, copier, fax and use only printing and scanning.  I bought a new computer yesterday (HP Envy) and after implementation it recognized my wireless printer, immediately, however, it seems to not like the scanner.  The error message says "check connection".  My system is Windows 10.

If she recognizes (and print) the printer, why he will not identify the same sweep device?

    Any contribution is appreciated.

  • computer not recognize the new bootable HDS

I have an Aspire TC-705 and when I put my HDD SSD. (Which has a partition bootable Windows 10 on it) my ACER said still no boot found device.  When I check the bios, although it reconizes the ACHI HARD drive (I think it was the appreviation.) it does not recognize it as a startup disk. My current HARD drive has Windows Boot Manager listed as boot instead of the HARD drive type device, when I connected to the place. Any suggestions?

You must be sure that your SSD also has the EFI partition to be able to boot like windows on BIOS UEFI Boot Manager.

  • HP-desktop computer not recognize the power plan settings

I just bought a HP Pavilion 500 205 t comcputer installed with Win 7 from the factory. The screen kept closed after 1 minute of the hour, I had the computer in place. I went to the Options section supply and changed the settings to NEVER close down/sleep/etc.  The computer continues to go down after 1 minute. I went to the Tech Windows and they had me do a few things, but nothing has worked. The last thing they told me to do was a clean boot I did last night and that didn't work. Then they told me to go to HP now, there was nothing more they could do. I got this computer QA a few days and I'll have nothing more than boredom with him. Anyone who can help me, maybe they had the same problem...

    Thank you

I called HP Support and they have been extremely helpful. They fixed all my problems. Thank you for your comments and suggestions... I appreciate your answers.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize the scanner in my Brother MFC-5440CN. __

When I use the windows utility to scan says there is no scanner available. The machine will print well. I am looking for the driver, and the brother said that pilots will be achieved through the windows update site. Can you tell me how I can solve the problem and where can I get the drivers.  Thank you

If brother said that the pilots will be available via Windows Update, they will be the base drivers provided to Microsoft by the brother to include in Win7. Set your Windows Update to get recommended updates as well as critical/important updates and if the Brother drivers are there, you see. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    Hello

Sounds like something is missing when installing. Please, download the following tool and run it on your computer:

    Kind regards.

  • Computer stopped recognizing the scanner.

My computer has started to not recognize the scanner in my hp officejet j5780 all-in-one. I uninstalled the driver, downloaded a driver from the HP site and re-installed. Now, the computer still does not recognize there is a scanner. I have Mac OS 10.6.8 and connect to the all-in-one with a USB cable.

Please disregard question. I found that if I go through the scan.app to scan, the computer recognizes the scanner. Until I'm able to scan through the print/fax under my system preferences icon. Don't know what messed up this system, but I can scan now so everything is good.

Have you installed the printer & software driver... will not recognize the installation of the scanner or Nikon camera to download photos... What can I do?

    The duplicate thread information:

Cannot connect Epson scanner/Nikon camera to printer!

    Hi Carolyn has Culp,

Thanks for asking this question to Microsoft Community!

I understand that your scanner and Nikon camera is not getting recognized in windows vista.

He would be grateful if you could answer these questions. This will help us to a better way to get a resolution of the issue.
    1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
    2. What is the brand and model of the scanner?
    3. are you an error message or error code?
    4. is that your other USB devices work?
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Try connecting to another USB port and check if the camera is detected or try to plug the camera on another computer.
    Method 2:

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us
    Method 3:

Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.
To remove and reinstall all USB controllers, follow these steps:
    (a) click Start, run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
    (b) click on the Hardware tab.
    (c) click the Device Manager button.
    (d) expand Bus USB controllers.
    (e) right click on each device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click on uninstall to remove them one at a time.
    (f) restart the computer and reinstall the USB controllers.
    (g) connect the removable USB storage device and perform a test to ensure that the problem is solved.

    Method 4:
To update the chipset drivers and check if it helps.

First try this: reset the printing on your Mac - Apple Support System

If this fails, you can try this driver: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?oid=14577 & infoType = Down load
