Computer stuttering

Hi and thanks-

I had my computer since 2009, and it works like a dream. Recently, however, after an automatic update, my computer spontaneously began to stutter - audio and video - exactly as in this video.

http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=ocKfYNV-xHo

Moreover, I get also some keyboard and mouse stutters.

Then, "when I type this phrase"... may appear as
"wheeeeeeeen I tpe this sennnntce" (note the addition and the missing characters)

It started a few days ago, and I've traveled the edges messge for a solution. There have been messages left on this Forum with the same problem, but none of the suggested fixes (I tried all) allowed. So far, I tried all sorts of things, including but not limited to the

Reinstall the video drivers
Reinstall audio drivers
Openeing the computer and blow out the dust - things cooling
The processor load monitoring (CPU does NOT spike when arrives the stuttering)
Run a system restore to a point before the event that happened
Running Glary, Norton and CCleaner registry fix
Embittered the computer from viruses and malware using my Nortaon AV and Malwarebytes (that resident and must operate in a prophylactic manner anyway.)

Change the profile of power to 'high performance '.
Other things that I don't remember right now

I think (but I am not sure, of course) that it must be a software problem, because the same exact material did a great job fornearly 4 years.

My system is a W7 i7 [email protected]. ATI Radeon 4800 graphics card. One thing I noticed is that in Device Manager, the processor is listed eight times. I don't think it's good, but want to check with a plu mind before deleting one of the entries. (There is no "exclamation points" or something like that).

Thank you very much for your help!

Hello ajeshdsouza and thank you.

I ran the resolution of performance with no resovle issues, but I solved the problem.  I will share for the good of others.  I also posted on techsupportforum - and a colleague there suggested I try a clean boot - amazing not only that I had not thought, but that person on one of the many other 'Computer bulletin board stuttering' messages had figured it out either.

I added little by little and eventually all (100%) of my services to. Then it was time for startup programs. I don't know which is the culprit - I just kept adding in all the old familiar start-up programs until my computer did what I want to do - and then I just stopped (with a number of uncontrolled startup programs).

But the important thing is that the computer is running back to full performance. Thank you very much!

  • After upgrading Windows Vista to Windows 7 CPU computer is not accelerate as before and a lot of stuttering and offset in videos

    Hi all

Recently, I wiped my computer and did a new install of Windows 7.  Everything went well, however, I'm having a problem, now I think that the CPU is not accelerate as it was when I was running a large number of programs at the same time.  For example, when I go to youtube for a video, the speed of the fan would go up and the computer would run more fast to play video at normal speed, but now the video will stutter and drags, it seems that the computer takes 2 seconds to play 1 second of video.  This isn't the only place where I noticed it either, during the execution of multiple programs, the computer will be progressively slower.  I know that my computer has the ability to function normally without lag, because that's how it worked before as I have re-installed W7.  Can someone direct me on a solution to this problem I'm having?  I already tried to change the energy in high-performance option, however, I do not want to change the display settings to ultra-high performance, so I hope that there is another solution.
    Thank you very much

    Hello

As the computer is done only for Windows Vista and there are no Windows 7 drivers available for your computer, you face these questions. It is advisable to install Windows Vista, and the appropriate drivers so that you can continue to use the computer as usual as it was before.

You try to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check.

  • Files from Nikon (CS5.5) stuttering during playback. Canon files were very good. Do I need a different sequence setting, upgrade of the computer?

I have been change in first CS 5.5 and have always enjoyed a generally transparent experience, but since the change of camera from Canon to Nikon systems, I can't play back more than 2 layers of Nikon without playback stutter. I could easily stack 3 or more layers of Canon without issue.all

I think I'm following best practices for my hardware, and as I said, I've accomplished in the past, but it seems that my machine does not meet the Nikon video anywhere near as well as he did with Canon. Everyone knows this?

  • Bluetooth audio stuttering on Sierra

Is anyone know stuttering audio bluetooth issues since the upgrade to Sierra?

I'm on a Macbook Pro. Pairs fine but audio skips like a scratched CD

The El captain had no this question.

    HEY Taylor,

I understand that after updating macOS Sierra, your sound quality audio Bluetooth isn't what you expected. I know it's important to have the right sound from your computer, so I'm happy to help you.

You have this problem with all Bluetooth devices connected to your MacBook Pro? This Bluetooth device works ok with other devices?

To start, I would recommend disconnecting from your Bluetooth device and then the pairing again with these steps:

  • Satellite U940 - stuttering & audio dropouts using NI Traktor Pro

    Hello

I am DJ & artist and recently bought a toshiba for sets dj ultrabook parade and live sets with traktor pro.
I also do computer repairs so I know my way around the pc...

Now, at the beginning I had an occasional stuttering or interruption, which I blamed on the system settings, so I made a few tweaks here and there, disabled some stuf, uninstalled some bloatware...
    Everything seemed ok.

But my last show was a nightmare, suddenly all hell broke loose! Stutters major interruptions and I had to put in a cd backup which is pretty stupid when live...

Now, before everyone says its software trakor or a material that is causing the problem... No, this is not!
A lot of testing already before posting here

This is a finding of latencymon:

Your system seems to have difficulties of audio manipulation in time real and other tasks. You may experience dropouts, clicks or POPs - due to breaks. A problem may be related to power management, clear the settings in the configuration of the BIOS and CPU limit sign. Automatically search for updates to the BIOS.

Now for 1000 new machine announced as Monster media is not how this machine should run.
My last chance, if I don't find the sollution is format all and put on clean windows 7 without all the stuff of toshiba which could cause this...

You mentioned the Wdf01000.sys (Kernel Mode Driver Framework) files in your message.
As much as I know, that it is a hardware driver internal Microsoft which is placed in
    C: the folder \Windows \System32 \drivers.
The driver gives you access to the computer or ancillary equipment.

The reason why this file appear as a troublemaker can be connected to external devices connected to the USB ports as external mouse or other device.

To be honest, I wouldn't recommend disable or delete this file because it s a clean Windows driver and may be important to keep the system working properly.

In your case I recommend you check the connected 3rd party devices and also to test the combination of Traktor and Sat with connected U940 adapter mains or battery only. Also test it with WLAN enabled.

  • Camilio P30 "stutters" when editing

    Hello.

Last year, I bought a camcorder of p30 Camilio.

I wanted a small and affordable camcorder and was very happy with it at first.

When I copy my moviefiles "gross" to my computer (or my xtreamer) everything works fine and the
    movies play nice.

The problem is when I try to modify the moviefiles in a videoedeting program.

_The results are always moving "saccade" _

I tried the videomodes all the different on the camera (PAL / NTCS 1080, 720 etc.)
    Same problem

I also tried edeting different programs on 3 different computers with different graphics cards (producer of Show Pro, Power Director, Adobe premiere elements) and the result always "stutters".

Does anyone have the same problem?
What to do about it? ¨
Y at - it a most recent to try firmware?

    Best regards

    Bizzen

    Hello

I think that this problem of stuttering can be connected to the camcorder, but in your editing software.

    You said this:
    > When I copy my files from movie "raw" in my computer (or my xtreamer) everything works well and the movies play nice.

    It would prove my theory.
I can't tell you exactly why this happens, but more often than a few missing codex could cause too much more I recommend reading the HowTo and instructions provided by some videos of party 3rd edition of sites Web how do to convert the RAW files to other video formats

PS: To my knowledge, the P30 was delivered with a movie extra software I recommend you test this editing software.

  • Satellite A300 - his stutters when I enable Wi - FI turns

    Hello!

I am owner of a Satellite A300, and almost from the beginning, I noticed some occasional stuttering on the sound.

Really got me bugged with this question, and I tried several times to solve. I even got to the point of resetting the default computer. Sooner or later, the same problem started again.
I even started a thread in the media forum, without a solution for the bug. Even if I had a valuable contribution on an antivirus I've tried and I think is quite good, avira.

Let me describe more accurately 'symptoms:

    * I recently discovered, this annoying behavior isn't random.
    * The stuttering is repeated at the minute, all about the same second every minute.
    * This led me to suspect a certain type of hardware/software cyclical behavior.
    * I guessed the laptop components that could have this kind of cyclical 'check' could be wireless equipment, for example, searching for a kind of networks.
    * Immediately, I turned off the switch.
    * Waiting for this ' second marked "happen and to my surprise, the suttering did not.
    * WAIT a few minutes and the situation remained out of any disruption.
    * then I turned the switch back on and within seconds after 4 or 5, the suttering returned and again the minutes that follow, by the same second.
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this problem?
I have to say that sometimes, I am able to have the switch on without problems. In this case (I think) when I start the system with the switch, wait until the system is fully elapsed, turn on the switch and start a had-hoc wifi network that I created on my laptop to share my computer with a dsl connection laptop here at home.

But right now, I booted the system with incidentally on switch (even got stuttering on the welcoming sound of windows) and in this session, I was not able to maintain the switch without the "bug", again. Even if I activate the had-hoc wifi network (i.e. activation worked on other times), I can't get the stuttering sound, without having to press the switch.

    Hello

What are you writing about? Your laptop starts with windows media player playback music or how to understand this?

I have Satellite A300-1LI in front of me, and I tested it with Vista preinstalled original. Work on my Satellite I like listening to music or simply Internet radio. I can switch on / off WIFI, but there is no difference. Absolutely no sound stuttering.

Believe me, that's not easy to say why this happens. I do not understand why you write about the bug. Why my laptop doesn t have the same bug that your?

This happens when you only use the WLAN switch or when you use the FN + F8 key combination too?

  • Satellite L450D: audio stutters slows down and jumps

The sound on this laptop is terrible, whenever I do anything on the laptop everything by playing a song (my music) the audio stutters - slows - jumps and sounds generally garbage.

I have a collection of great mp3 on another computer and try to listen to songs while surfing or working on this laptop.
It is almost impossible to listen to them.
I thought that this could be due to streaming over a wireless network, so I have a few copied on the laptop, but there is absolutely no difference

I tried Windows Media Player and winamp, changed and played with the settings and finally reinstalled the driver (Realtek Semiconductor)
    Yet is still is catastrophic.

I think back the useless thing.

I assume you have tested with factory settings and drivers pre-installed.
    What to say?
Try disabling all unnecessary background activities. Some scan of the HARD drive or anything else is perhaps responsible for stuttering. The fact is that this laptop doesn't have Harman/Kardon speakers, so you can not expect better sound quality than on laptop with these high-quality speakers.

In the end, I must say that I agree with you. If you are not satisfied, try to contact your local dealer and bring the laptop. Get a new one.

  • Lag and Ideapad Z410 win 8 audio stuttering

I used this laptop for almost 2 weeks. Everything is going very well, but 3 questions that quite significant

The first problem is the audio latency

At first, it went well... But, a week, I noticed that the audio became stuttering and even in some cases, that it sounded like a robot voice. I tried to plug the adapter to see if the power management makes audio stuttering, but it does not solve the prob. Then I reinstalled the audio driver, it solved the problem for a few days but stuttering returned.

The second problem is the lag

I noticed that the laptop performance degrade while running in battery operation, even if I changed the power mode performance plan and programs forced to use the Nvidia card only. But the performance never be as good as when the computer laptop adapter is plugged.

    Any solution?

  • dv4 1120us bodyguard stuttering when playing any kind of sounds

I have a new dv41120us. I use media monkey as my Media Player. During playback of songs, it will start stuttering and cracking in the music on all the 5 min. I opened the Task Manager and saw that sometimes the processor worked up sometimes not. It happens on everthing that I play the sound out. Use also to dj via a device usb, same problem.  I saw this in all directions on the internet. Tried all the fixes, and including disabling aero switching to Classic view, updating the audio drivers and turn off the audio improvements, I found. I'm looking for a real that such solution that it is supposed to be my new computer to work for djing and obviously I can't have this stuttering all the time. If anyone has any suggestions or a real fix for the problem I would be very appreciated

I had this problem on my new dv9927 (with external speakers or headphones).  Tried to update the drivers and all.  Then someone suggested to turn off the Wi - Fi adapter.  Who did it, and once more, the sound was pure.  It's a BroadCom adapter and I thought it was faulty, but since the fix for the problem, they published a pilot day and now its pure with a Wi - Fi on or off.

  • His stutters on Pavilion dv4-1120us

I had my Pavilion dv4 1120us for Christmas and put it in place. It is under Vista Home premium with SP1. I noticed that from time to time during sound playback slows and stutters for a few seconds and then the catch usually upward. He made cela hung together through its speakers and external speakers. The condition seems insensitive to changes in devices. I noticed that no special request is responsible for either. It occurred when streamming myspace and playlist.com, when watching a dvd in both media center, wmp and VLC, windows included during playback of CD and by practicing a game (total annihilation). I also noticed that the problem persisted even when I extracted decrease the number of processes ranging from 80 to 60 something.
I thought that the problem may lie simply in Vista and the bloat-ware that came on the computer. Today I inistalled dual-boot ubuntu and the problem is ongoing, as well as the headphone jack and speakers single switch with Vista (I think it's just a driver issue...), I would like to know how to solve the problem at least with Vista and with linux so would be good.
