Concerns MX200/300

Hi, would like to know if mx300/mx200 may have a multisite option incorporated like the usual cts tp or it will just connect to an external mcu?

Also, it'll work on h323 as independent or you really once ucm or vcs?

Moreover, what codec was used for this model?

Hi Marc,

Answers below

1 - no Multisite option has been incorporated

2 - Yes it will work with H323 for P2P calls

3 MX200 / MX300

You can also consult the data sheet for more information.

Hope that helps!

  • Touch 10 with MX200G2

Hi, I have a client who has several systems of MX200G1 and just got a new MX200G2 system. They dislike the Touch10 and want to use a Touch8 to maintain consistency. Looking at the specs on the Touch10, it seems that it is designed slightly different from that of the Touch8 (PoE for example). Is it possible to use a Touch8 with the version of the G2 MX200/300?

The genius of these two devices of contact could resemble a little, but older codecs that use the 8 touch have a different user interface design, then the newer codecs that use the 10 touch, like the latest SX and MX Series have a new user interface.

Touch 8 is supported only with the following devices:

    • Cisco TelePresence EX Series (EX60, EX90), Cisco TelePresence profile series (42, 55, 65 profile profile profile), Cisco TelePresence MX Series (MX200 and MX300), Cisco TelePresence Integrator C series (Integrator C40, C60, C90) and quick play of Cisco TelePresence SX20.

Button 10 is supported only with the following devices:

    • MX200/300 second generation and future generations of SX and MX Series.
  • MultiStream in TC 7.3

How can I enable multistream on the endpoints supported?  According to the telepresence Server Software Release Notes (4.1 (1.85)) the feature is experimental and is not enabled by default, but it say anywhere how to activate it.  No mention of the feature in the version of TC is noted.

    Thanks, Mike

I checked the guides admin for some of the endpoints and same API guides, and none of them mention 'read', but it could be parameters of experimental setup that is not documented.  Using the web interface on the configuration page, just start looking for "experimental" and experimental hidden options will appear.  You can also check using the CLI, if you have a SSH access.

Endpoints supported multistreaming capable are SX20/80, MX200/300 G2 and MX700/800.

Components of the infrastructure are 10.5 (2) conductor and CUCM XC3.0.

This has been asked several times here in the forums since the Touch 10 have been released with the new generation of codecs. The 10 touch works with the SX10/20/80, MX200/300 G2, MX700/800 only. No other codecs are supported.

  • P2V Windows file server migration (VMware Converter 4)

    We use VMWare ESX 3.5.

We want to migrate a physical file of MS Windows Server VMWare (ESX 3.5). The physical server has a C: drive of 40 GB and a 300 GB D: drive

We would like to use VMWare converter, to migrate the server and to develop the drive C: for the virtual server is 80 GB, however we are concerned the 300 GB d: partition since it will take some time, and while the P2V, we might have some users access to stocks (on server co-location) and modifiyng files during migration.  So, if this caught there is a potential risk of losing business data.

I learned that the VMWare Converter 4 can do a live migration and once completed the P2V it can track changes and then synchronizes them when you turn off the physical system.

I was wondering if someone knows about this type of functionality on 4 VMConverter and knows how to use it?

You can resize the disks so that the migration using VMWare converter. It is not only to take care on the disk, it is resized the partition, also.

  • HP 300-1360: reset HP 300-1360 with windows 10

    Hi all

I recently bought a HP 300-1360. I intend to do a factory reset, but the HP Recovery partition content has been removed.  D: is still there but shows 14.6 GB of free space left 14.7 GB.  I downloaded windows 10 who intend to use this recovery as reset tool, but now I don't know if it's the best way to go. Looks like I might lose much or all of the features of HP using this recovery. There is no files on this computer and yet so not concerned on this issue. A few features. The question and the questions are therefore:

    (1) a windows 10 restore will remove actually all HP applications. (I feel that the answer is Yes but if necessary, to ask in all cases)

I wonder if I should have bought a recovery CD set and done the factory reset before I take on windows 10.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    Ambico

Personally, I would buy the HP's HP recovery media.  Here's a guide to help you.  This will give you a protection for the future and make the upgrade to win 10 much easier.  Once you install Win 10, you must run HP and Windows updates to make sure that all software and drivers are up to date.

    Hello

I bought my Qosmio X 300-12 H on 3d this month in the United Kingdom and just found that it doesn't have a fingerprint sensor.
As shown in the pictures on the site Web of Toshiba and the user manual book, fingerprint sensor should be two touch pad control buttons, but he's not here.
    Is there something wrong?

Are you sure that this Qosmio X 300-12 H model should be equipped with mind-reader of fingerprints to 100%?
    I doubt it.

Is that the same series of laptop (in your case Qosmio X 300) was equipped with different hardware specifications. This means that some 300 X can support fingerprint and some model don t support this feature.

I checked the X 300-12 H details on the page you linked in the post above and there is no fingerprint mentioned!

  • Other people sees the start of the Transflective TFT on Qosmio X 300

    Hello

I would like to know if other people are able to see the start of the Transflective TFT on the Toshiba Qosmio X 300.
A in addition explained; When I press the power button the Transflective TFT is on a few seconds after that.

I see the TFT created a short "liquid" as black / gray filling the screen before the Post / bios is visible.
It looks a bit like a black / gray "wave'that is visible for a very short period and must have something to do with the power of the Panel TFT."

Problably it is normal when using the Transflective TFT, but I'm not familiar with this guy in a notebook.
In addition when windows Vista starts the Transflective TFT will be powered on once more before that round Vista logo is visible in
    the middle of the screen.

If it's a common thing that I'm fine with that.
Hope to hear from other owners of Qosmio.

Of way General Toshiba doesn't supports any CPU upgrade or any exchange best way to get the info on it is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can check this and also send the request for Toshiba technicians.

  • HP TouchSmart Desktop PC eSATA connection 300-1020?

I have a HP 300-1020 Desktop TouchSmart.  I'm trying to connect a Thermaltake BlacX 2.5 "" / 3.5 "SATA HDD, eSATA & USB docking Station."  It came with two cables: USB and eSATA.  The {very detailed not} statements have two cables being connected to the desktop computer, but I can't find any eSATA port.  I don't want to plug into a classical USB port for fear of spoiling something.  The instructions say nothing about either / or Setup.

Is it possible to use only the USB connection?  Additional hard drive will be used for storage only, so I'm not too concerned with speed.

    Thank you very much

    sweeneyfry

As with most the exteranl drives, it should not matter if you use a connection style or the other. The instructions I read online status ' esata / usb "is either or a situation.  There should be no problem using the USB drive or the system.  The emergence of external storage with a USB 3.0 interface has much to do with eSATA not available.  USB 3.0 is more friendly (especially with Win8) PnP and offers higher performance eSATA. Hope that helps you.
