  Dear Forum,

  We have problems of connection with the Officejet Pro 8500 A910 printer/Scanner.

  The device is connected through the wireless network and can reach the server (e.g. for the storage of digital images).

  When we try to access the printer (or scan) with a computer (WinPC or Mac) that is also connected via the same wireless network, the printer/scanner is not reachable (host unreachable), i.e. even a simple PING for the network address (IP V4) of the printer/scanner cannot be completed. As soon as we connect to the computer via the wired local network, can be reached at new printer/scanner (normal operation). Between the two States (computer connected via wireless or wired LAN) no changes have been made to the configuration of the printer/scanner. It's all simply inaccessible when the computer tries to connect to the printer/scanner is connected through the wireless network.

  What router?  Is "isolation wireless" or "AP Isolation" enabled on the router?  This prevents any communication between wireless devices.

  Tried to load the complete package of windows 8. did not work.  Tried it on 2 10 Windows - had already installed win10 and the other has been upgraded to win7.  I REALLY need to be able to scan.  Any suggestions out there?

  There are 10 Windows drivers available for your Officejet 8500, and you must install the full features drivers correct and the file of the software for it to work.   Display problem on the printer. Is this fair?

  I would definitely help.

  I recommend that you follow the steps below and check if that helps.

  • Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer when the printer is on.
  • Then without connecting the power cable, press and hold the button for 15 seconds.
  • While holding the power button, plug the power cable and keep pressing the power button for more than 5 seconds.
  • IF the printer is not powered, restart the printer manually and check if that helps.

• HP Officejet Pro 8500 a A910a: problem formatting of printer after upgrade to Windows 10

  After the upgrade to Windows 7 to 10, some printed documents very well while others print in close columsns of 15 letters causing a document 1 page run 6 to 8 pages long and useless.

  I downloaded the latest driver from HP and used their diagnostic tests.  I used Windows Diagnostics.  They suggest no action.  I contacted Microsoft 3 times and technicians turned out to be unnecessary; It was suggested that finally back to Windows 7.  The printer works just great.  This printer is no longer under warranty.  I have a same printer which works well on another computer running Windows 10.

  I would like to know how to solve this problem caused by the upgrade to Windows 10.

  Please follow these steps to try to resolve the problem:

  1. open outlook

  2. double-click on the email address that you want to print (the email must open in a separate window)

  3. click on file and then print

  4. in the print window, select your printer and click Print below options.

  5. in the window options printing, make sure that the print style is set to memo, and then click Page layout

  6. click the paper tab, and set the margins to 0.50 '' on all sides. Also make sure the paper type and size is set to letter.

  7. click OK and then try to print.

  I installed recentlly hed all 4 cartiges for my printer.

  all cartiges 940XL ginuine.

  It is not the first time installation and never problams hed.

  now I tried to cleen the printhead in the menu priter and allaigen printheads.

  allaigen faild and still only print in black and yellow...

  Your printer has 4 color cartridges and 2 heads print, black share one and the other for the other two colors.

I took the cartridges off... put them back in and then looked at the ink level... If I click OK in the window... it says "Printing cancelled... then back to 'jam carriage error'... I think» also the transport of ink is pasted on the right side... He tried to pass it... and cannot without ripping it out of the printer... when I opened the box in the back... it was ink on the right side...

  It is 3-4 years, because I had it... and put some miles on it... I do PITCH it... just bought the 8600... still in the box... or is there hope... and of course, I just bought and put new cartridges color... lol... Thank you...

  I count on the printer immediately.  It may be just a deep reset to clear the problem.  Run through this document.  If it doesn't help you to solve the problem, then go ahead and get rid of the printer.  Let me know what happens.

  Have you tried to update the printer drivers? All new hardware comes with the cd or instructions to connect to the internet and update under the name of its news for you, it may have been on the shelf for 6 months +. Also check the devices Printers device manager and update there.good luck
