Conflict HSPA and Lan Wireless

Hi, I have a dongle USB HSPA Sierra for internet access and home Asus Wifi network for file sharing.  When you try to connect to the internet with HSPA and Lan active, IE displays an error message from Asus.  Internet is only available with the Asus Lan disabled.  I would like to be able to maintain two connections at the same time.  Is this possible? Thank you very much.

Hello

I'm afraid to say that this is not possible. You cannot hold two connections at the same time.

Hope this information is useful.

  • NB510-108 problem with wireless and lan controller

    Help, please!
(answer in German would be nice, ill try English first tho)

I installed ubuntu 12.04 on my toshiba NB510-108 (PLL72E-00R011GR) and then I was not able to go online via wlan or lan same kable.
After some effort to install the drivers through ubuntu I have installed windows 7 starter edition back but now windows does not install the ethernet / wireless drivers realtek or atheros network device.
so I tried to install all the drivers wireless by http://toshiba-asia.com/sg/support/drivers/ but now when I try to run these drivers after loading them down windows 7 cannot install correctly, it says that there is a compatibility issue. I tried to run these drivers in compatibility mode for win xp sp1 and win vista sp1 without success.

Also, I installed all the drivers for my model of http://de.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=DE here with some of them have been properly installed and even when I get my system to a point where I find the two network devices work as 'good' in my windows Device Manager, the following problem occurs again:

I can't find any of my netbook WiFi network (wlan is enabled via fn + f8) no matter what type of router I try to connect. other laptops have about no problem connecting to routers so that can't be the issue. When I click on the windows just below the wlan troubleshooting info it only says no problem could be identified (the system is in German, so please excuse my translation)

In the information system components and devices of problem the pnp for the ethernetcontroller said pci\ven_1969 & DEV_1090 & SUBSYS... and for the networkcontroller: PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8176 & SUBSYS...
If it is useful. I also wanted to put my dxdiag online file, but this extends the limit to 3000 characters.

Someone here could help me please? It would be really nice

    Hello

I m wondering why you have the same problems of connection using WLan and LAN.
I mean its not really necessary to configure anything to get a connection to the local network works.
The router must support, and DHCP must be enabled in order to assign the IP address automatically.

I recommend that you check the TCP/IP settings in your network WLan and LAN connections.
In TCP/IPv4, you can view the properties. The INVESTIGATION period and all other options should be set to assign automatically. You should also disable/uninstall the TCP/IPv6 and must use TCP/IPv4

By the way: you have an antivirus and firewall software installed? If so, remember that the two don't affect the WLan/LAN connection.

  • Wireless and LAN problem with Thinkpad

Im having serious problems with my Thinkpad T61p on my wireless and LAN drivers (at least I think it is the drivers, could be something else). This can be a long explanation, but please bear with me.

Yesterday, after seeing an example on the net, I tried to connect my xbox 360 to my laptop. I thought I'd be able to play on the xbox wireless using the laptop as a gateway to my router. I never had any problems before with logins, and had the wireless on my home network.

After plugging in an Ethernet cable into the laptop and xbox (following the instructions, I had online), I became "Network connections", (start-> Control Panel-> network connections). I had used a cable to connect your desktop to my laptop before and normally when you go to network connections, the connection between them appears as an icon. This time, has no icon.

I decided to try and create a connection. At this point my wireless was still working because I was always browsing the net. On the left sidebar, I clicked on "create a new connection". Hit next, and then click the radio button "set up an advanced connection." "Accept inbound connections" option box pressed, the next button. Finally, a link has been created, but when I went to go again my wireless connection dropped. I went back and removed the link to "network connections".

I opened "Logins" and tried to connect to my home profile. No results. I tried clicking on 'Search' to see were there any other networks available and all I kept getting was: "the wireless radio is turned off. You want to turn on? ". Press 'Yes', landmark of waiting a few seconds, click on 'Search' again, same message. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the wireless to turn on. So I found this thread:

    http://forums.Lenovo.com/LNV/board/message?board.ID=T_Series_Thinkpads&thread.ID=3314&view=by_date_a...

and decided it was best to update access connections. It came as a default as version 4.42 so I updated to 5.12. Rebooted and tried again. Now the wireless starts up fine, but when I look for my router connections, some networks are located.

    Next to this thread:

    http://forums.Lenovo.com/LNV/board/message?board.ID=Special_Interest_Utilities&thread.ID=524

I updated my drivers and countless other things without success. I've updated wireless drivers from this page and dial-up connections to:

    http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-67853#wireless

Another strange thing I see is that when I try to 'Create a new connection' 'Network connections', select 'Create a home or small business network', keep the progression through each other, it is to choose connections it is said that both my wireless and LAN are disconnected.

Wireless that I use is: Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AG

LAN: Intel 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection

It is not to have problems in Device Manager and that these two are enabled.

Does anyone have an idea of what is after occurrence and how I could fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated, because I need it for work soon.

    It sets obtained.

Essentially had to uninstall the network drivers (not enough I know) from Device Manager and reboot. After the wireless and LAN is back!

  • Speed of the satellite - 12L - C850D slow WLAN and LAN

    Help please

I C850D - 12L running Windows 8.1 and as far as I know, have all drivers up to date according to PC world.

I am not receiving the correct speeds both hard and connectivity wireless. Should get 30 + bottom and 10 upward but getting 10 down and 5 up.

I did the usual stuff of BT and they are on the case - they say that my hub receives correct speeds and suggests that it is my drivers?

Another laptop received very good speed of my hub. HUB is the latest issue of BT

    Happy new year

    > I did used * BT stuff * and they are on the case - they say that my hub receives correct speeds and suggest it's my drivers?

I m really confused. You're talking about BT (I guess you mean Bluetooth), but this Toshiba laptop can't stand NOT BT's
The device is equipped with a Realtek RTL8188CE WLan card 802.11b/g/n and with LAN Fast Ethernet 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX card.

    But he can't stand BT

So could you please provide more details or could you clarify this misunderstanding

    Hi @GOGO46,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, HP experts and other support staff. I came across your post and wanted to help.

Here are a few steps to identify the cause of the failure, or you get a permanent solution:

    • Perform a default bios.
    • Please run the diagnosis of Wi - Fi on your computer.
    • Steps to do: hold button power for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
    • Turn on the computer and immediately press the F2 key repeatedly, once every second about.
    • The main menu of hardware for the HP (UEFI) PC Diagnostics is displayed.
    • Select pane control and run the wireless diagnostics.
    • Please check all electromagnetic disturbances in the area. (Such as the microwave ovens, GBA and mobile phones)
    • Make sure that the proximity of the laptop with your router.
    • Please disable the Bluetooth driver in Device Manager and check.
    • Please check in SafeMode with network.
    • You can also create a new user account to check to further isolate the issue.
    • If the wireless card is insensitive or not detected in diagnostic tests, or if the problem persists after trying these steps then the Wi - Fi card is defective and must be replaced.

For more details please go through the support document for troubleshooting wireless network and Internet (Windows 10)

I would like to know if these measures worked for you.  If they did, it's great!  Give us some reinforcements by clicking on the solution and laurels, buttons that help and others see that we have the answers!
    Good luck.

  • Tecra S5: Which driver Lan Wireless necessary

    Hello

I have an S5 and receive information from a wireless Lan driver. Excellent service.

But what is used? I follow the link for downloads and offers me different drivers. So I try to establish that you choose and that's where my problem begins. On the page "Downloads wireless LAN How - to's" I get the instructions for Windows XP and 2000 - but not Vista.

Using common sense I go to control panel and open the Device Manager. When I click on network adapters, I see a wireless WiFi link. But not of adapters that match the numbers in the downloads.

What I am doing wrong and how can I make sure I have the correct update?

Oh, now I installed Toshiba Tempro, but it is only to tell me my disc fill level.

    Thanks for the help.

    AndyB

Generally, all the latest WLan drivers are on the Toshiba WLan portal.
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

As you have already posted, you can check your WLan card details in the Manager of devices-> network adapters.
Should there have listed the LAN and the wireless network card.

Choose the WLan card and access the properties where you can find more information on the WLan card.

I have a Satellite U500 laptop, the problem is that I have never connected to the internet, even if the modem works well in other devices such as mobile.
I'm trying to connect to the internet automatically and manually. It s always saying limited connectivity or local only.
I ve checked the driver for my wireless and LAN cards and everything works correctly. Then I plugged as the hub of LAN or Ethernet cable, sound correctly connect the laptop to the modem, but I checked the free config or a physician any link is in x.

I followed the steps but it s not solved my problem.
I hope someone can give me an advice.

Somehow it seems to me that you have a problem with your router.
Restart your router, and then try again.
I can understand if there is a problem with the WIFI but LAN should work without any problem.
When you connect the network cable to your laptop is green LED ON?
    Does not yellow LED flashes?

  • Questions KB and mouse wireless Microsoft with Win 7 64 bit

    Hello

There could be other messages like mine, but I find it here, with exactly the same problem.

I have a problem with my new Setup: Windows 7 64 bit and a Microsft Wireless Keyboard 6000 v3 and MS Wireless Mouse 6000 v2 (he came as a set).

Now it works perfectly with my Windows XP system. I have now on a new computer, Win 7 64 bit. The mouse and the keyboard are now 'Skip', where they seem to ignore the entry for a second or two from time to time. As a first step, I let Windows 7 load its own drivers for these. After the mouse wheel input strange (no scroll bar on an active window would scroll to the bottom with no way to stop it) I downloaded the Intellipoint for the KB and mouse drivers and disabled the intellipoint Control Panel scroll wheel.

I have changed the batteries, moved the receiver to different USB ports, but nothing helped. I have antivirus running. Wi - Fi KB and mouse works fine on this same machine, in the same USB ports.

    I would appreciate any input.

    Thank you

    Ray French

    Hi gamma,

    Thank you for your message.

What is your make and model of computer?

What are the sounds like interference might be the issue.

Other wireless devices and certain appliances can interfere with wireless KB/mouse.

Is there a wireless router near the receiver for the KB/mouse? This also will cause a microwave oven.

Even if the mouse is located in front of a computer and the receiver is at the back of the computer.
interference of the metal casing of the PC can connect properly.

In order to better clarify, if you move the mouse backward through the office (left to right continuously for a minute) is the stop of pointer or freeze at any time?

If so, I suggest to perform a clean boot to see if a startup program may conflict with the resources of mouse/KB:

  • conflict between and cable h and 802. 11 b / g?

Is there a conflict when a laptop has an active Ethernet cable connected and available wireless 802. 11b / g connection? If so, what technology would take over?

    Thank you.

Hilarious. No network connectivity"is" based solely on the type of connection!

It is a simple matter of the ip routing table ("netstat - rn") and which order you connect you and if an ip address is assigned, etc.

For example, if you are using wireless network and then connect a wired cable to an active network and get a DHCP address, without disconnection of the wireless network, you will actually be connected to two networks. The default gateway (route 0.0.0.0/0 in the routing table) will have a metric is lower for the connection that came second, or the wired connection, which means that all traffic not intended for your local (directly connected) wireless network or cable network subnet will be sent to the default gateway of the cable network.

I use it to my advantage in my consulting work using cell phone or wireless network comments for my route fault for my client VPN (etc.) works, while being able to print locally, etc. This isn't the safest way of doing things, but it works and answer your question, I hope...
