Confused! I need a Proxy?

Hi all, hope someone can help me as this is becoming so frustrating!  I'm not much of a person of the computer so only the basics... please bare with me!

OK, I got the Flash and it was everything works perfectly, but when I tried to access some video files, it asked me to update my Flash to 10.  I clicked on the link to the Adobe Web site and follow the instructions on the screen.  I have done this before and found no problem, but this time for some reason any he asked me for my proxy settings?  I asked my husband, and he said that we do not use a power of Attorney and he doesn't know why he is asking us to do this.  When I clicked on 'no proxy', it came with a mistake and said that she had not.

I tried to use my Flash 9 once again instead, but it doesn't work now either.  I uninstalled everything and I tried to re - install, but it doesn't work

Help, please!  Thanks in advance for any response

It is a part of the new Adobe Download Manager. (DLM) here is how he explained it to me...

Once installed the DLM, it attempts to contact our server to get the bits it will install.  If the request times out, and the DLM detects any config on your machine using a proxy, then the proxy dialog box appears.

But... If the call to this URL is successfully completed, then the proxy dialog box should not show.

So, the easiest way around this is to use the installation EXE of this technote:

  • Help! I NEED A PROXY SERVER ADDRESS...

RECENTLY, I'VE RESTORED MY LAPTOP. NOW MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS VERY SLOW. I NEED A PROXY SERVER ADDRESS. WHERE CAN I GET OR FIND A?

It is not a matter of getting a proxy server address, it "s a question to configure a proxy server that is not a simple process and usually doesn't do much to increase the speed of the connection (although it improves it little to visit repeat sites).  During installation, an address is created or provided if you follow this path, but I really don't think it will solve the problem with the connection speed, even if it helps a little.  The proxy server must be installed on your own network.

Here is some general information about Proxy Server: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-a-proxy-server. Note that it says it uses a computer other than the proxy server and that it is for commercial environments and not usually for home networks.

    I hope this helps.

  • Confusion - I need Fireworks?

Hello. Our small company is trying the trial version of dreamweaver, we anticipate buying a product to create our own website. In any case, I noticed that there are a lot of programs that you can use to facilitate the creation of Web sites such as photoshop and flash. Fireworks has me a little confused. I watched a few video tutorials about it but did not understand what it actually does. It looks more like an intermediary than anything else. Someone could it explain this newbie? In addition, what advice do you for someone just starting out with these products to learn without having to take a course?

Fire of artifice is similar to Photoshop, because it comes from an edition of chart
program. It allows, like Photoshop, edit images or create graphics.
Photoshop and Fireworks have unique strengths. Photoshop is more
the industry standard and is ideal for digital photography, image
surgery, creating computer art, photo-realistic etc... Fireworks excels
in the graphics of web with features such as master pages, scaling smart.
and AutoShapes. The two will create the HTML code for you - but you should not
Use them to create web pages. As they are graphical editors, it is
where their strength lies. Use them to create "site assets" - things you
will include on your web page - but use Dreamweaver to create the real
    pages.

Dreamweaver will likely cause you nothing but frustration if you do not
have a basis in technologies such as HTML, XHTML web-based, and
CSS. You must take a few tutorials on HTML/XHTML/CSS to efficiently
Use DW. Start www.w3schools.com and through their free tutorials.

  • Boring Proxy authentication requests

In our local network, we use Firefox (various versions, from 8 to 23, also 17 ESR references) on windows (xp and 7 32bits) computers. We need a proxy http (squid) with user name and password authentication. Generally only configure us Internet Options in the windows control panel checking the indicator on 'use automatic configuration script' with a url of type 'http://proxy/proxy.pac '. In this script, we give a list of intranet sites (web applications) that do not require authentication proxy on the internet because what are internal sites on our local network. Done on firefox, it must use the option "use the system proxy settings. The question is: during a session on intranet sites the dialogue window of firefox for proxy authentication often seems boring of the operator who must close each time. We have attempted to alleviate the problem disabling firefox automatic updates, updates of modules, updates of search engines, are not attack sites and updates of the lists of fake web documents, telemetry, queries and reports of health and crashed. It seems not to be enough to solve the problem.
Are there other settings to set "subject: config" page? workaround solutions? Add - ons?
Thank you for your help in advance.
PS: Sorry for my English, I'm still learning.

I did some more tests and turn off all the settings mentioned above in the section the problem is resolved.

  • Office want 700-339: 700-339 RAM - confused as to what to Put in the envy

Hi - I'm confused and need help. I want to upgrade my RAM 8 GB to 16GB. According to records online for my model, I need 2-204 pin DDR3 DIMM. I have been in contact with Crucial for ordering a couple, but they insist that I need the DIMM 240-pin. They suggest that it is perhaps typo on the HP site because 204 pins are for laptops. I sent them a copy of the sheet of HP and they insist that I need 240 pin.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

    Greetings,

banhien and Crucial are correct. 204 pins is the memory of the laptop and there is typo on Memphis B memory specifications...

It's your motherboard, Memphis B. Watching chipset is an Intel H87. It shows two supports DIMM DDR3 204 pins.

It is the motherboard HP S of Memphis. Watching chipset is an Intel H87. It shows two supports DDR3 240-pin DIMM.

  • Unable to connect to the Web Services Proxy/unused (a HP 7500 JO)

    Hello

    Here's the situation:

    Previous installer:

.  I have connected my 7500 for the corporate network (IP = 172... series)

.  registered the product with ePrintCenter

.  used a PC under Windows to print (and scan) with the printer

    .  web proxy entry "webproxy.phila.gov".

.  However, because homeland security rules, I could never work, so I just let it go

    Current situation

.  has taken the home printer and set up on my home network, i.e.,.

    -using the 192.168.xx.xx series

-Router broadband Netgear ' G' (1 years) set up at the 192.168.xx.254

    -SSID & encryption assigned

-printer, the value 192.168.xx.155 (static IP address, the subnet and the gateway assigned as well)

-My DNS is identical to the bridge and it works fine for all the internet access to this day

-with the help of a PC and a Macbook Air to print and scan and everything works fine

    .  HOWEVER,.

-Initially, 'web services' were active (carried over from when I was on the company neetwork?)

..  Are looking for, found and downloaded updates

-When I went to hp.com ePrintCenter he showed the product as 'registered '.

..  He would'nt I would like to connect (with a name and a password I had used previously), or create a new account

..  I never remember getting an email address of the printer

..  and I had never been able to send anything to the printer to print because of my problem of network security

-Yes, after trying all sorts of things, I:

..  I tried to get another email without success

..  tried to re - enable web services, but he said I need to 'proxy', and I discovered that he had always "webproxy.phila.gov."

..  I have reset the values by default web services and network values

..  I put the static IP address return address in (i.e., printer, subnet and gateway (it has nowhere to put in a DNS one))

..  printing and scanning to 192.168.xx.155 works fine

..  From my iPad AirPrint works very well

.  BUT, I still can not online and therefore web server, web services are not enabled, therefore not ePrint

-everytime I try, it says it needs a proxy

    - but I don't have a proxy installed on my internal home network bit

-Comcast/Xfinity, my ISP, do not use a proxy

So, I'm dead in the water.  I can't figure out how to get the web services enabled; I do not use a proxy, so I don't know how to go beyond this issue. How to regenerate address of the printer; and so, how do I connect an account on the ePrintCenter (or get them to send me my old account information).  I'm dead in the water and cannot use a feature most of my printer that I desperately want to be put in place and functional.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Tommy

Problem solved, but I don't know exactly how I did it. However, I went back in and let the printer assign the IP address. Then I turned the printer off and on again. Last I kept pressing the button "Printer e-mail address", who has repeatedly failed, but then finally went through and print the 'printer' page, I quickly used to connect to the ePrintCenter and put everything in place.

    Now it's working.

  • I need assistance with the signing of the app

So I made an android app and when I heard about the offer of playbook I went and reconditioned using package online Manager. I sent my app for review and I just got an email saying that my application has not been approved because it has not signed correctly. I am so confused, I need help.

HM, strange. I used the tool to sign several apps (loading of Android applications on my PlayBook is such a pleasure), and it worked very well.

Open your BAR with WinRar or WinZip file, there should be 2 folders inside. META-INF folder must contain a MANIFEST file, two files RDK and two files of the AUTHOR if the app is signed. If you don't see these files not try once more with the online tool, if you have doubts about the measures, just ask, we will try to help you.

  • LAN > PROXY > PIX > > > Internet. How?

    Hello

We use PIX 515E (and we are satisfied), but now I need Activate Proxy Server with some restrictions (user can´t download files .exe etc.).

Current setting: user has in Internet Explorer (for example) on the connection setting is checked "use proxy server" (192.168.1.151, port 3128) and all restrictions are applied successfully. BUT: If the user uncheck this setting - it can connect to the internet and no restrictions are applied on him - he can download whatewer he wanted.

On the old version of firewall (kerio winroute 4.2.5) I can put the packet filter rule, and only the user who put the proxy can connect to the internet.

Can you help me how I can configure PIX?

    Thank you, Milan

Hello.. as the internal DNS is 192.168.1.2, you must allow access to this IP to talk to the DNS servers of the ISP.

access your lists looks like this:

    access-list outbound01 permit udp host 192.168.1.2 host 194.228.2.1 eq 53

outgoing access list permit udp host 192.168.1.2 host 194.228.2.61 eq 53

outbound01 list of access permit tcp host 192.168.1.151 all http eq

outbound01 list of access permit tcp host 192.168.1.151 all https eq

make sure you nat the 192.168.1.2 host out.

  • Incompatibility of proxy on predefined Ingestion

I was very pleased with the new automation proxy in Pp, but I ran into a problem right at the beginning. The presets that are available are still larger than I want to work with. I need proxy images about 640 x 360. I exported several smaller presets directly from Media Encoder as .epr files, but whenever I try to add them I get a popup of incompatibility of Proxy error:

    Proxy Error.jpg

All the tips are greatly appreciated.

My original media is files MOV H.264 1920 x 1080.

With the update 2015.3, Ingest presets have been added and are needed for Proxy and Ingest workflows. Encoding presets is the same presets that you would create in previous versions of first, SOUL, etc.

Ingets presets have additional functions, and may also include a preset encoding. So, you have already done the first part in creating your desired preset encoding. In the SOUL, you now want to create a pre-defined Ingest new (+ predefined browser button or go to "Preset" menu > Create ingest Preset). In the dialog box settings preset to ingest, check the 'Field to transcode to Destination' box, set a Destination, set the Format to the Format that you have created your encoding preset with and then set Preset in your "Preset" created Encoding.

Click OK and the preset to ingest it is now ready. Go in first and dialogs settings interfere or create proxies, click on the Add button ingest predefined, select your Preset ingest (found in default predefined location or you can export the preset in SOUL to any desired location).

This video goes on the bases to ingest and Proxies, in addition to ingest presets (and also goes in the other new features).

  • my printer requires a proxy name and address and a name, where can I find these?

I do not understand the difference between the wireless and connected web. My printer OfficeJet 6500 said now I need a proxy name and address, who they are and where to find them

Here is a link to a post that provides a solution to your problem. It covers the steps I'd take that do a reset on the printer and check the EWS (built-in web server) to ensure that the proxy fields are clear. It will then cover how to set a static DNS on the printer via the integrated Web server. It is also an Officejet printer in the other post. Even if it is a different model SAP at foot by steps are the same. Here is the link: http://goo.gl/vMNYD I hope that this ehlps.

  • Expose the service as a Web service proxy using the sb Protocol

    Hello world.

My team and I worked on a project of integration between multiple applications. So we created all the OSB projects necessary to connect applications and now I'm working on a web application that reads several newspapers who leave these integrations in the database in order to watch what happens when they are executed. Right now, I need my web application to be able to reprocess or retry messages that present a problem or are in an error state.

To this end, we have developed a proxy with a sb protocol that allow us to communicate with other services dynamic proxy just in him passing the name of the proxy, its functioning and the message of the body. And finally, here's my question for you guys.

How do I expose this last proxy (with the sb Protocol) as a web service so I can consume it for action to reprocess/try again?

    Thank you.

Don't think that you need a Proxy service with SB Protocol at all. As I understand it, your process will be like this:

1 web app bed DB logs to see what documents need to be submitted again

    2. web App must call OSB to resubmit the log message to correct the proxy.

What you can do is create a WSDL based proxy HTTP to OSB for a new presentation, Web application must call this proxy and passes the body, the name of the target (full path) service, target service type HTTP (Proxy or Business), target the operation name (optional, like e-mail or type XML services everything will not associated with surgery). You can add a dynamic routing node in the HTTP proxy that calls the proxy target based on information coming from the Web App.

SB Protocol should be used in a Proxy service if you want to call a Proxy deployed in a single domain of OSB on another area of OSB or composites Oracle SOA. Here, the consumer will be the Web application, so it needs to be a HTTP proxy and not SB.

P.S.: You should also consider sending transport/custom headers as well, not only the body for your new design be more reusable.

  • Workaround for JRE proxy for local addresses always bypass proxy

    Hi all

I am currently dealing with an issue with the proxy in java configuration.

Situation: I need a proxy server to connect to the internet, and I have a few addresses configured in Internet Explorer that bypass the proxy server.
    example of how I have it set up: *. Google.com; * 212.115; 62.69.179.198

The address at which I am trying to achieve is not in the list of circumvention, or beaches excluded in the bypass list.

Initially, I got java set up using the browser settings. I thought he didn't pick up the settings of the browser at all.
However after you have configured the proxy manually in java it still did not work.

During the search, I came to the conclusion that as soon as I activate the "bypass proxy server for local addresses" in Internet Explorer, or manually in java.
Customer JRE automatically bypasses the proxy and always uses "proxy direct =". As soon as I turn off this feature, he began to use the proxy server.

I have no idea why this is happening?

Why do you need to check this option then? Simply configure Java/browser to use the proxy and add it to your list of exception/bypass. That should do it. "bypass the proxy server for local addresses" is a bit ambiguous and depends on the way your network is configured and what is defined as a local address. Is your LOCAL proxy server as well or you are using an external proxy server?
