Connect the iPod to the stereo

I want to connect an iPod to my stereo amp. I thought I could do this using a dock, but it seems that these become obsolete.

I have music in iTunes and on an external drive separated as mp3 files. I have to use streaming using the network home?

The easiest way is to simply use a male/male cable to connect the headphones from your iPad to the auxiliary in your system. You may or may not need a 1/8th of an inch to the converter in charge 1/4th to plug into your system.

  • Satellite Pro P100: Can which digital cable I use to connect the stereo

I just bought a new P100 and think generally that it's great.

However, if I plug it into my stereo via the headphone to the front of the computer, then it is very noisy. I read somewhere in the manual that this Jack is used also in digital form - weird! Is there a way to transform digital or I'd be better connection on my external (stereo only) DAC. If this option is ideal so what cable should I - nothing about this in the manual or on the Tosh site. I use a stereo plug for cable twin phono right now.

Any advice from someone who has connected to their own hifi would be appreciated.

    Hello

The headphone jack offers the possibility to S/PDIF which allows to connect the laptop to the hifi on digital channel.
You need a simple cable S\PDIF. This cable you can get from each computer/laptop.

Simply visit this dealer and ask for this kind of cable

By the way: try to disable the option of its virtual when the laptop is connected to the stereo

  • I get an error "" device cannot start (10) "" when I try to connect the stereo headset bluetooth Motorola SF600.

I tried to pair my new Motorola SF600 bluetooth stereo headset so I could listen to and control Windows Media Player with my helmet. I followed all the instructions, downloaded the latest Widcomm driver and installed. Then I restarted the computer. I could see the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar, but it was red and not white (or blue). When I clicked it, it just says adapter lights up, I did. As soon as I hit this button, the bluetooth icon disappears and no bluetooth connection is possible. When I look in the bluetooth properties and the properties of the driver, I see the message "device cannot start (10). Thanks for the advice, but I came to the conclusion that Windows 7 does not support the advanced features of this particular Logitech Bluetooth adapter. Windows XP takes to load them entirely, but for some reason any Windows 7 isn't. • Problems to connect the Ipod to Itunes after update 12.4.6.1

    Hello people,

I just installed the new update iTunes (Version 12.4.6.1 for 64-bit Windows), once more a new provision which made it very confusing. I just tried to connect my iPod Touch (old enough) to sync my new music but the device does not appear on iTunes anywhere. I use the same yarn I used two days ago and it worked fine and has done for over a year as I tried a different lead but still no joy. The device is recognized by my PC as it starts to load connected as well as it appears in the folder 'My computer' which has an icon indicating 'Device Apple'. Any ideas on how to work?

    Thank you very much

  • How much time does it take for my ipod to connect the itune after putting in disc mode?

How much time does it take for my ipod to connect the itune after putting in disc mode?

my ipod displays 'do not disconnect' for half an hour already, but my itune cannot always detect my ipod (as itune will pop up once I have connected my ipod normally).

What is your real question?  Why you connect the iPod to your computer to disc Mode?

In addition, it would be useful to know if you are using a Mac or a Windows PC?  If Windows, what version?

If iTunes does not open automatically (when you connect the iPod), what happens when you run it manually?

Any suggestions for when I'll be at the computer?

    Thank you

    Hi dux.

You can check what are the other USB devices on the computer.

Often when there is a failure in one device in the USB chain, it can prevent the operation in other USB devices.

You can try the iPod in another USB port on the computer.

You can also remove a powered hub if one is connected between the device and the computer.

  • Connect the Tecra M11 to high fidelity

I have a Tecra M11 which I want to connect to my onkyo AV 7:2 receiver so that I can listen to music through my stereo and watch movies on my TV.
The amplifier has a range of input - RCA, hdmi, vga ports, digital coaxial and optical jacks.

What happens to be the best way to connect the laptop to the receiver to get the best sound and picture quality? Is there an output high definition on the tecra?

For the moment I do not have my hhoked receiver to my TV so I could not test any video output of the laptop via the vga connection. I tried to connect the two using a jack plug 3.5 over phone from the analogue headphones on laptop phono amp output input but does not have all the sounds (I get sound out of headphone jack when I plug in headphones).

    Hello

Tecra M11 is a portable laptop professional not multimedia.
As far as I know that the book contains only a monitor VGA (RGB) output port.

I didn t find info on s/pdif user manual and I guess that this laptop doesn't support digital audio output. I think that you can connect to the laptop to stereo by using the headphone jack.
This will help get an audio output to the stereo.

You should not use such cable: [Y Audio splitter | http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B00004Z5CP/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=172282&s=electronics]

Try the following. It seems yo may have to let the battery drain is completely:

    - iOS: do not respond or does not light

-Also try DFU mode recovery mode post-test

-If failed and that you cannot completely turn completely the iOS device, leave the battery to drain completely. After loading a hour repeat the foregoing.

Can someone recommend the best way to connect my G20-156 sound creativity works 5.1 desktop theater DTT2200. This was connected to a PC so I think a card external sound would be via a USB port, but is this the best way and that model?

I put t know what cables and what made the 5.1 support desktop theater DTT2200 but the Qosmio supports headphones with S/PDIF out.

I use a cable with a connector on one end and RCA connectors (red and white) 2 on the other end of the cable.

  • How to connect the Satellite Pro P100 to Hifi

I've got Satellite Pro P100. How to connect this laptop to stereo
It's probably easy, but what I can say... Call me stupid.

I have head that comes out of the headphone jack, it connects to my friendly hifi.
Ill be there is a unpleasant hissing in the background. Trying to hook up my boys in head mp3 player, and that works very well.

Any chance of some help... Thank you

    Hello

To my knowledge, you can connect the satellite Pro P100 to HiFi only via a cable 2 RCA Audio Y adapter. To my knowledge the laptop doesn't support the S/PDIF audio output so you only to use an analog audio port.

You can also buy a stereo adapter with 2 x cinch sockets to connect the laptop to the stereo. This card can be plugged into the headset jack

    Check this box:

I think you should visit the nearest dealer of portable. It can show you the right and taken in charge of cables and adapters.

  • Try to connect the Svideo TV

I am trying to hook up a TV with S-Video with my laptop.  I plug the cables & when I go to the screen & my 2nd monitor/tv is not an option.  It's only as 1 to my laptop screen.  I'm trying to detect & still no solution...

Most of the standard definition TVs supports only video composite or S-video connections. If your computer supports one of them, you may be able to connect it to your TV. However, both of these connection types will result in displays that are not as sharp as the results you get with an HDTV or a standard computer monitor.

The following scenarios show you how you can connect a computer to a standard definition television:

If your computer has this type of output port

It should work with this type of TV input port

By using this type of cable

    Composite video

    Composite video

    Composite video composite video

    S video

    S video

    S video S-video

Connect your computer to your TV

    1. After that you have the right cable, follow these steps to connect your computer to your TV:

    2. Turn off your computer and place it near your TV. Unplug the monitor, but leave the mouse and keyboard connected.

    3. Connect the video cable appropriate to your computer's output to your TV.

    4. Turn on your TV and set it to the input that matches the output on your computer. You may need to refer to the supplied with your television user's guide for instructions on how to do it.

    5. Turn on your computer.

You should see windows displayed on your TV. If the screen looks stretched, or part of the screen seems cut off, you will probably need to adjust the reference resolution in Windows. For more information, seeGetting the best display on your monitor.

If Windows is displayed on your TV, you will need to reconnect the computer to your monitor and adjust the screen resolution before connect you to your TV.

    Notes

    • Cables VGA, DVI and component video don't support audio signals. However, HDMI cables are supported audio signals, but not all HDMI-enabledvideo audio support cards. If your TV has an audio input, you might be able to connect an audio cable separated from computersound directly to the TV card. Otherwise, you need to connect the audio signal to a different device, such as external speakers or your stereo. For more information about sound cards, cards seeSound: frequently asked questions.

    • If your computer does not support the type of video connection you need, you may be able to install a newvideo card that has the right connection.
