Connect the linksys to a wireless modem

Hello

I want to connect to my wireless router linksys WRT54GL to a vodafone wirelesss (r206) modem

first of all, I want my linksys to get vodafone wireless signals and 'put' on local network (to connect my PC to the internet, the pc, it doesn't have a wifi receiver)

I can get internet only via modem. Something like that:

and I can not connect PC directly to the modem because signal problems and placement of vodafone modem

If is a solution to this please help me. Thank you.

Because the router is unable to do this.  There any WDS functionality.

  • Is it possible to connect the HP Photosmart C4780 Wireless printer without USB cable?

    Hello

My family and I recently moved and while moving, something inevitably get lost or left for account.  I am fighting to get this printer and will so I don't have to bother people at the front desk at school to print my documents for me.  I have lost/misplaced both the HP Photosmart C4780 printer software disk and the USB cable.  I have no idea where these things are and have not found them within two months, we've been in the new House.

I solved the issue of the loss of the installation disk by downloading it from the HP site.  My problem is now getting beyond the USB connection and get the currently installed software.  Because I run on a MacBook Pro, it always tells me that I need the USB key to continue the installation.  I'm on a Verizon Wireless router, and I even tried to find the printer on my wireless network with no luck.

    Help, please!

    Thank you.

It's the type of cable you will need (ignore the color of the cable, the ends are the important part).

Have a new router is not a problem, but remember the SSID and password wireless exactly, otherwise it will not work (if you decide to try Method 1). It's a bit like "trick" your printer into thinking that your new router is your old a long enough to configure the network settings for the new (desired).

  • Should which driver I connect to the Linksys E1000 router wirelessly

I'm all set upward on my wireless network and all my other devices (iphone, tv, ect.) wireless connection.  My HP Pavilion dv6700 connect however no wireless.  My router is a Linksys E1000 and their support team has informed me that it is a problem of HP with their driver.  My driver is current and up-to-date (Atheros AR5007 802. 11 b / g WiFi Adapter).  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Please note that I have tried all the simple fixes, same driver update, it's not as simple as resetting the router or ensuring that my wireless switch is on and emitting a blue light.  If anyone knows how to solve this problem, I will be forever indebted to you and may even bye breakfast you!

    Thank you

  • connect the mobile to internet via modem pc

    My mob: Nokia C2 01
    My laptop: HP
    can connect via bluetooth
Need: access to the internet on my phone using the modem from the laptop
    Help is appreciated

    Hello

It is not possible to access the internet on the mobile to the laptop. If your mobile phone supported Wi - Fi connectivity and if you had the wireless internet to your place, then you might have accessed the internet. From your mobile phone does not support a Wi - fi connection, there is no other choice to access the internet outside of the SIM card.

    It will be useful.

    2. Press the WPS button on your router to 2 minutes after pressing the button on the printer.  The WPS button is the one in the middle on the front of the router.

  • Install a (wired) ethernet connected the printer on a wireless network

I just bought a laptop from HP dm4-1050ea with Win 7 operating system 64 bit & s5780uk PC HP Pavilion Slimline, with Win 7, 64-bit operating system. I have a HP2610 Photosmart printer that is currently connected to a Dell PC, Win XP SP3, via the USB port. I want two HP computers connect to the HP printer via a Netgear DGN2000 wireless router wirelessly. I understand that the HP printer needs to be connected to the router via ethernet, however, I don't know how to proceed with the installation. The installation CD supplied with the printer's 6, Win XP, and I don't know if I should be downloading drivers to the computer laptop dm4 and Pavilion PC or just one of the computers?

Any help on the steps to take and the order to take would be most appreciated

    Best regards

    Rathbane1

For step 4 you have not need must be connected to the printer. As long as the printer is already connected by cable to the router it will be accessible wirelessly on the two computers during the installation of the software.

    Thanks in advance

    You can not.

The receiver is synchronized with the keyboard and the mouse in the factory and cannot be re paired at the level of the Office

  • Linksys Router WRT160N - Wireless does not connect to the cable modem

I installed the Linksys WRT160n router to replace an existing G router. When installed the new wireless router works, but the router does not receive a connection (IP address - look under status) of the cable modem (so no internet). When I reconnect the old router and then connect the new router, I get any internet connection through two routers (so the old dishes router the IP address that accepts the new router).

I have configured the router N new for

"Automatic configuration - DHCP", no need for connection, IP address dynamic, etc (as required by ISP - Timewarner)

I tried to renewal and release IP address by the router N when it is connected directly to the main switch (the switch to connect to the cable modem). In so doing, shouldn't that assign a new IP address to the router?

I am allowed 3 IPs from the cable company (because of the switch) and I use all three with three different internet IP cameras to each address for home security system.

Any suggestions on why the router is not connecting to the internet? Do I need to reboot physically everything on the network, including the cable modem?

If I understand your post, you said that your ISP gives you 3 Internet IP addresses and you have 3 cameras that use one of these Internet IP addresses.  If this is correct, then that leaves no IP Internet address for your WRT160N use - so that would explain why your WRT160N cannot get an Internet connection.

If I misread your post, and you have an Internet IP address available for the WRT160N, you might have a problem with your modem and two WRT160N tries to use the same 192.168.1.x subnet.  To check this, follow these steps:

    (1) Please indicate addresses that use your cameras (IE before you take the test below).  If the addresses do not begin with 192.168, then erase the last half of each address.

    (2) Please indicate your ISP

    (3) Please indicate the make and exact model of your modem (not the WRT160N) number.

    (4) Please do the following test:

Put your entire network.  Disconnect the switch (including cameras) to the modem.  Using an ethernet cable, connect your modem directly to your computer.  (Do not use the WRT160N for this test).  Turn on the modem and the computer.  Make sure you have an active Internet connection, then go ahead with what follows: (even if your Internet connection does not work, include this and move forward.)

Go to 'Start' > all programs > Accessories > command prompt.
A black DOS window will appear. Type "ipconfig/all" (with no quotes), and press the Enter key.   Copy all results in your next post.  To make the copy, highlight the results, and then use the keys copy (Ctrl-c) and paste (Ctrl-v) keys.  If your "IP address" does not begin with 192.168, then for security reasons, delete the latter half of your IP address.

  • Impossible to connect to the display of admin of Arcadyan ARV75 wireless modem

    Hello

If I try to log on my wireless modem admin screen it does not give me access. I tried with Google Chrome and it works very well.
On another computer with FF, it works as well. The two computers are on Win7 64 bit

Have you tried to connect the modem using a wired connection on the computer with problems? Also try to connect by using Internet Explorer. If a wired connection works, there may be limitations on how you can administer your more wireless modem or your wireless signal is too low.
