Connection problem SSL QuickVPN for RV042 only through ISP specific

Hello

I noticed a frequent problem using QuickVPN to connect via a RV042.  With an access provider specific (Rogers cable) occasionally for a particular location internet to the Canada QuickVPN stop to be able to connect in my work VPN (although a RV042), even if it had been fine connection before (and can often connect through the same ISP somewhere else).  Although the RV042 is reached and a TCP connection is formed, the SSL connection fails and the problem persists indefinitely.  If I connect to the computer (a laptop Windows Vista) to another ISP, I am able to connect properly.  Restart the cable modem/router do not solve the problem.  I saw once a occurring in similar problem with another ISP (DSP from Bell internet to the Canada), but in this case restart the modem/router DSL has solved the problem.

I suspect that the edge router in the ISP meets certain problems related to the delivery of SSL connection.

If anyone has experienced this problem or knows a resolution?

Thank you
Mark

The only configuration for PPTP is to activate the feature, specify the subnet, the router assigns to the logged-in user, then make a PPTP user. It is about as fast as QVPN and uses the built-in MS client.

  • Instant Client connection problem - Excel 2007 for Oracle 10 g

    Dear users,

I want help to connect Excel to Oracle.
I use Excel 2007 (32-bit) on Windows Vista Enterprise 64-bit. I want to connect to a database 10g to Oracle through our local network using ODBC. I need to retrieve data once in an excel sheet.
There is no firewall or connection between my current computer problems, problems as I can connect to my machine, using SQL developer as a local client to the Oracle database that is located on another machine on the network.
I tried to make an ODBC connection, but Oracle is not listed as a driver.
In my view, what ODBC is the best way to do it, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

It is an Oracle 10 G database.
    I downloaded instantclient-basiclite - 64 - 11.2.0.2.0.zip a windows.x
I also downloaded the additional ODBC components: * Instant Client Package - ODBC: extra to allow ODBC applications libraries.

    I unzipped in a folder called C:\instantclient_11_2
The system path include one. I checked after reboot.
I placed my tnsnames.ora (that I copied from the server) in this folder.
I got it from the server: D:\Oracle\Ora10gR2DB\network\admin\tnsnames.ora

I ran the exe "odbc_install" and he told me that the ODBC has been successfully intalled.

When I went to the Control Panel, administrative tools, ODBC

    On the user dsn tab

I added a new entry. I chose the Oracle driver (previously it was not in the list)

    Use the following values

    Data Source name: OracleL
    123 description
The TNS Service name: I chose for my prod environment drop-down list. (There are two entrances with the name of the production, one uppercase and one lowercase)

    UserID: my user name

I tried the connection Test and got this:

    Unable to connect

    SQlState = S1000
[Oracle] [ODBC] [Ora] ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist

    Any suggestions please.

    Thnaks in advance.

If Excel is 32-bit (2007a) and the Oracle client libraries are 64-bit, it will not work. needs 32-bit 32-bit.
You should probably remove current ic packages and get the 32-bit instead.
    Start over.

On Windows x 64, to run the 32 - bit ODBC DSN/drivers, we need run the Windows\SysWoW64\odbcad32.exe tool.

Please help me in this grace,
    Srinivas

You are right. The table that you have described is in the format 'Generation' (the highest to the lowest level of the hierarchy). The KM of planning requires data to load in format "Parent/child". You must create multiple interfaces (one for each pair of generation) or use a view to make the transformation.

While a view seems to be the easier choice, note that ODI will not be able to perform any analysis of lineage of data on the integration process.

    Hope this helps,
    Matt

  • WiFi for computer laptop HP ENVY 15 and Ethernet connection problem

Hi, a few months ago, I brought a HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC running windows 8.1. It is connected to my wifi with Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi - Fi adapter. My modem is a Technicolour TG582n 2 Wireless ADSL + with wireless 802.11 b/g/n compatible.

As soon as I got there I noticed a problem of internet where I would be able to connect to my home WiFi network and get full reception bars but would have a hard time to access Web sites on web browsers such as chrome, mozilla and internet explore pages takes some time to load and eventually reached a page "this webpage is not available" (for chrome). This problem seems to occur only with my home network as it can connect to public wifi and my wifi friends and yet I have many other devices such as laptops and other smartphones connected to my wifi that did not at all have poblems with internet and it just seems to be mine. When I connect via ethernet I get good connection for about 10 minutes and then I was completely cut off. However, I can upload a file via the wifi ok if I can get it to start and I can play a game online well enough but often disconnected after an hour or two.

I checked for new updates of pilot, but they seem to be up to date and im do not manually downloading and installing one on the hp site but I tried (I did probably wrong). I ran the diagnostic function, but it cannot detect all problems. I looked around the internet as well, but still havn't found a solution.

Also I got the laptop sent back and received a new but the same problem persisted and as I walked through the process of the person I was talking to a admitted that I had a problem like they remote limited from my laptop for a little for the access problem.

Please help, I've had this problem for a month or two now and is really becoming a problem since I use my laptop computer for purposes of requiring home internet work.

Thanks in advance and I hope you guys can help!

You are able to connect with full bars but are unable to access the web.   When you're lucky hours just access the Web, you can make a download if you get started in time or play games online for one or two before again declining. You ran the diagnostic function, but no problems were. You had the phone replaced for the same issue, but the replacement has the same question.

You know your network is an 802.11 G or 802.11n.   How do I know if my WiFi connects using 802.11n (as superuser)

    Please check this setting.

    1. Open the Device Manager
    2. Click the network adapters to expand the list
    3. Right click on the Ethernet connection, and choose Properties
    4. Click the power management tab
    5. "" Please check that ' allow the computer to turn off this device to save power "is not checked.
    6. Repeat this process for all types of listed under network adapters.

    Hi RedskinsBnG,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         He has already worked?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.

  • Video Jabber for TelePresence, VCS-E connection problem

    Hello

I recently configured control VCS, VCS Expressway and TMS. Two VCS servers are software X7.2 and TMS is on 14.1.1 commissioning is configured between the VCS control and TMS, everything works OK internally and users can log in their Jabber client of telepresence video.

When you try to connect via the highway-VCS I get the following question: "connection refused by the server. Try to connect again later"

Area authentication is configured like this:

    VCS-Highway

Sub-area by default: do not check the credentials

Area Sefault: Do not check the credentials

Crossing area: Do not check the credentials

    VCS-control

    Default subfield: treat as authenticated

    Area by default: credentials check

    Subarea: Credentials Check {area which movi users register to regex function}

Crossing area: Do not check the credentials

Search the rules between the two VCS game [email protected] / * / OK.

The only port of the restrictions in place here are between the VCS control and VCS Expressway, outgoing ports open to the highway of the SANCTION.

It seems to me that there is a connection problem, as opposed to an authentication problem. also, do I need to configure a SIP domain local VCS-Highway even if I try to proxy, registration to the VCS control.

Would be appreciated if someone can verify my authentication area also...

    Thank you

    Simon,

to do this, you re normally the area on VCS - C as "check credentials.

If you want to proxy of VCS VCS-C-E records, you should not add the SIP domain name to the VCS-E.

"Rejected by the login server" sounds weird in this case, however, could you share what you use for this deployment, the SIP domain name so that we can verify that your DNS SRV records are fine?

I did a few tests of new yesterday which showed that if the PC a static NAT (mapped to a real public IP), outgoing connection VPN is fine; If the same PC has no static NAT (he hides behind the dynamic NAT firewall), outgoing VPN is a no-go (same IP to the same PC), so roughly, I have narrowed down our connection problem VPN is related to NAT, here are a few commands for NAT of our PIX:

We had this problem of connection VPN IPsec from the years (I first thought it is restriction access problem, but it does not work or if I disable all access lists, experience of yesterday for the same restriction of the access-list shows longer than PC is not the cause). All suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated.

    Hi Nikhil,

If you connect through a proxy, then I suggest you to try the steps suggested in this article and checking:

  • sec_error_bad_signature only through proxy for https Web site

    Hello

I tried to open the website https through the proxy of the company, but it does not work.

It happened only with firefox. Chrome & IE is quite fine.

    Thanks for teaching.

    Khoa.

I was suggesting to the certificate information link, but there is a clue that you are using Zscaler. We had a thread indicating that you can export the certificates from the Windows (via IE or Chrome) certificate store and then import them into Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/986876

I'm not sure whether that is documented in detail anywhere, but please note:

    • In the certificate Viewer, IE or Chrome, click on cert Zscaler you want to export in the Certification Path tab and use the button view the certificate to open it directly.
    • Click on the Details tab, and then click the Copy to file button. This will start the Export Wizard. Use the DER format and save to a convenient location.

When you are finished with all exports needed to complete the chain in the Certification path, you can import the certificates into the References of Firefox tab:

    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "View certificates" button > mini-onglet References > button "import".
    • I suggest allowing the certificate for Web only, unless your IT suggests otherwise

Fixing a few screenshots for reference.

  • Try to set up my email on an ipad, but the information that I am using my settings is unacceptable for the ipad and says "can't connect using SSL '.

As noted above, implementation of ipad, but it requires a verification email to be sent. He sent to my e-mail about 1 million times, but it is not.

Spent by the installation of mail on the ipad, but when I try to send, it says 'cannot connect using SSL '.

Then returns with this "account is perhaps not able to send or receive emails"

What is the point of this?

All this is in order to simply get a verification email, if I can use so I can use iTues to buy apps.
Without the verification; I can't do anything at all with the ipad.

OK, I'll try, but I doubt that you will like my answer no better.

    1. Thunderbird does not work on IOS.
    2. There is no such thing as a Mozilla email account.
    3. Mozilla do not e-mail addresses, except for their personnel issue.
    4. Thunderbird is a mail client, it connects to e-mail accounts that are provided by third parties and aggregates and downloads mail from these accounts.

So, at the risk of being called another tool. I suggest that you contact the people who actually you issued with the e-mail address, as your ISP, Yahoo, Microsoft, Google, GMX or among the thousands of other email providers. They most likely have a very detailed tutorial on their website on how to configure an iPad to their email accounts.

You won't get an answer to your original question here, simply because your question assumes that you have an e-mail account of Mozilla. You do not have.

  • Use the TC for backups only, while the computer is connected to a different network

    Time Capsule version 7.7.3

I want to be able to make backups without having to connect to its network via wi - fi, because I'm connected to a different wireless network to access the internet.

I thought that I need to connect the TC to my computer with an Ethernet cable.

    But how to set it?

    Like this.

Time Capsule using wired for Mac for backup only.
