Connection reset by peer

Hi friends, I have recently buy a Lenovo ix2. The product is amazing, but I have a question.

When I want to connect to the administration area, or change any configuration, the browser gives me an error page saying that the connection was reset by a peer.

To resolve this problem, I need to reload the page, but then the problem reappears.

How can I solve this permanent?

Thanks Gus_lenovo.

The problem was my wifi connection. I have changed my modem/router and now works great!

Well, figured I might as well could do a reinstall of the server security.

And that's when I found the problem!

During the reinstall Wizard, I noticed something that dodged the radar yesterday, and it was the number of the port on the external URL. During the update yesterday, this changed to 8443 somehow (I know as I type in it) and after correction on 443, everything works fine now.

    Problem solved! :-)

    Hello Matt,

Get the message tracking details. This is GUI > monitor > message tracking

Find e-mail, and then click "view details".

According to the newspapers, from what I can tell so far in the blink of an eye, it's a little like an interruption of port 25 which passes on your network, that the emails are delivered, some are arrested with soft bounce (terminals).

From a trial of mxtoolbox, (judging by the tophosts, your internal domain name is besd.net)

We are witnessing ESMTP inspection enabled on your firewall, we can ensure that it is disabled completely, as it is one of the main causes of the problems.

Thanks for reading! Help, please! :)

    Hi guy,

    Method 1
If you encounter problem when installing the game, then I you suggests to disable all antivirus and then try to install the game.

    Disable the anti-virus software
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.

    Method 2
Perform the clean boot and then try to install the game.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
    Note:
follow step 7 of section of boot KB929135 to the computer in normal mode.

If you have any known issues with the game, then I suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.

  • javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: connection reset

    Hello gurus,

I try to install IAM on a cluster deployment. I have a physical as a front-end load balancer, which ensures the load to alternately between the two servers where IOM managed servers are deployed.
When I try to start an approval process, SOA server seems to not be able to connect to the servers of the IOM, which gives the following error:

Maybe SOA calls are directed in the timeout while trying to connect to the IOM (cluster balancing algorithm times), so, considering that Web services take time to answer (say 10 min), I want to know if there is such a setting on SOA to configure so that it never go into the time-out in the meantime that web services to answer.

  • I lose my internet connection, reset network adapter internet works for a few moments and everything happens again

    Hello

OVET the past 2 weeks, my internet connection crashes. I'm going to dianose and the repair center and get a message 'reset with network adapter' and I press OK. In a few minutes, the internet comes back on that lose the connection again in time. Sometimes, when this happens, I get a message that says "there may be a problem with your DNS" and that windows cannot automatically resolve the problem and communicate with my admin or ISP provider. I contacted my ISP everything is good at the end and I even bought a new router but still lose the connection.

I updated the driver for the network adapter, reset it and also clicked the 'allow PC turns off to save power"in the Device Manager field. I also unplugged the router and went directly from my modem to the computer.

I have a s 530 Dell Inspiron and am using a cable ethernet to the modem/router.

    IM losing my mind here...

    Any help?

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your router > make sure you have the latest Firmware in Vista for it.

Do you have these drivers directly from Dell?

  • Connection reset during the firmware update

I have a Linksys router WRT54GS (v5). I noticed that my firmware was outdated and he tried to update tonight. During the upgrade path, the browser will reset the connection and now can't access my router configuration pages.

I did a hard reset. Then I did the 30-30-30 reset.

The reset worked, but no matter what I do, I can't navigate to any readable page in the router. I get the log in box and was able to connect on the router. However, the configuration pages are all jumbled and devoid of useful information. It looks almost like a web page that needs flash to be enabled. Many colors and boxes, but no text or links to other pages of configuration

I know it's an old router but it has served me well. I would like to reinstall the old firmware (or new!) and copy my saved on the router configuration file.

    Is this a hopeless situation?

Is there a way to access the configuration via a command line interface?

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

In fact, thank you for your answer but I posted too soon. I just find a solution to my problem.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not connect, reset the password for the update!

forgotten my password.  When I go to the login page, I get my e-mail address, click on 'forgot password' and it comes up with a new page where I get my new email address, and there is a picture of 6 letters/numbers that I'm typing in order to reset my password.  I type in exactly as stated, click on 'submit' and it comes up saying "image does not correspond to" or something like that.    I entered it exactly as shown.  No matter how many times I do it, he only says 'no match' - so, I can not connect, or if I can reset my password.  To make things worse, there is no method communicating with blackberry, or anyone who is competent in order to obtain assistance.

Seems I am dead in the water and locked forever.  It seems that many others have the same problem with no path for resolubion.

You must call Sprint, they are your software first line and the device's hard support channel. If they cannot solve the problem, you must ask them escalate the problem to a support technique level RIM. They will, and if they do not offer to do so, you must request this firmly.

  • ASA5505 - connection reset when you try to SSH IPSEC tunnel

    Hello

VPN IPSEC just bought myself an ASA5505 to replace a PIX 501 and having been transferred to the bulk of the previous configuration, I managed to get the two tunnels to work as before.

Unfortunately when I try and SSH for the SAA the right connection restores instantly even when the tunnel is up. It seems as if the ASA actively refuses the connection, if the journal does not specify this. I had always assumed that the traffic on an established IPSEC tunnel has been implicitly trust and not subject to the usual rules of access list.

I can't SSH to the ASA in the 10.0.0.x range, but I can't SSH to a machine on 10.27.0.4 (I know the tunnel is up and working)

Reference attached config (less sensitive information not relevant).

Also - although I'm not sure of the relevance is given the tunnels seem to work - when I get the line "meepnet-map outside crypto map interface" in the reports of the ASA configuration mode "warning: the crypto map entry is incomplete!" even though I provided the access list, peers, and transform-set variables.

    Any help gratefully received! :)

  • database connection reset

We have a firewall between the AAU and the database. If nothing happens on the port for 30 minutes, then the firewall ends the connection because of security. Is there a way to tell the AAU to maintain the port by questioning every 10 minutes?

    Hello

You can try putting DatabaseConnectionKeepAliveInterval = 300 (for SCS send Keep Alive Packet to the network in order to avoid the fall of connectio is)
as a configuration for your config.cfg entry and then restart CS and this will ensure that the CS will keep sending requests for DB connection and helps avoid falling in the CS - DB connections.
You can change the time interval in the entry according to your system requests.

    Hope this helps

  • Unable to connect to any URL with the "WindowsUpdate" string in it, on any server. Again maybe virus?

OK, some background on me, just to avoid some types of questions: I'm not an expert in huge windows, but I use it as my office like a bit of a user with power for 10 years, and I've been a professional Unix administrator since almost 15 years; I'm paid to know my way around computers.

Computer of my nephew, I work remotely via TeamViewer, knows a problem really incredibly strange.  No matter what the URL with "WindowsUpdate" or similar to get connection reset by peer, in IE and FireFox, and apparently in Windows Update too because he can't actually update anything.

So fine, virus; Well, Yes, there has been a lot of virus, but they are all had: S & D of Spybot, AdAware and Avast all say that it is clean.  The last time I ran TrendMicro Housecall it crashed, but I saw him more than halfway done and he had not found anything like that or the other.

It cannot be something simple as a parameter of weird registry or hosts file entry, because it is sensitive to the context and occurs with any server.

Let me explain: when he started to arrive, I thought it was a Windows Update problem specifically. If it is not; This computer can't see http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsupdate&tid=fb0ddab0-e9a0-4edc-b3ea-144ff14190b3&cat=&lang=&cr=&sloc=&m=1&p=1, for example, in a browser, apparently because of this "windowsupdate" in there...  But I didn't know that I went and grabbed a update WindowsUpdate manually, and pasted on my server.

It's when things are weird; It's my server, it has nothing to do with MS, and it serves many users every day very well.

On my nephew's computer, I get connection reset by peer for this:

    http://teddyb.org/~rlpowell/public_media/WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe

    and this:

    http://teddyb.org/~rlpowell/public_media/WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.zip

but NOT the same exact zip file renamed, like this:

    http://teddyb.org/~rlpowell/public_media/harmless.zip

I assure you, that these two last URL points to exactly the same data (the .exe in a zip file above).

So the problem seems to actually be URL with the text "windowsupdate" in them, which seems like it should be a piece running of malware to apply, or something like that, but... really doesn't seem like it.

Normally, I'd just like to fix it, but this case is so bizarre that I think that I really want to figure it out, too.  Maybe it's the sign of a new virus or something?

    -Robin
