Connection to CUCM MX300

I have a challenge connecting the MX300 to my CUCM internally. I have reset everything so that it can work but seems his didn't help not, I downloaded the CA certificate and information network, but it keeps saying "Mistake of commissioning", in one case he said he could not fing external administrator and then after reset now it says something to the effect he can not connect or retrieve the details of the cucm.

I don't know what it means and there seems to be very little documentation on the error and how to solve them. I also ran a capture of packets to see if it would help what anyone and it seemed that it was giving a HTTP 404 error

  • Integration of CUCM 8.6 and CRM, what service API or XML?

    Hello

Asked me to find documentation on the developer interface CUCM. We would like our CRM system to connect to CUCM and receive CID/CTI and duration calls real time to start.

Which way we look? Our CRM supplier must watch AXL interface or XML functionality for the call real-time data? or in another way? any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Kristian

Data in real time would require the TSP that provides the TAPI interface or JTAPI to subscription to the devices/DNs via CTI Manager. XML interfaces you mentioned are for administrative functions. ICT applications can impact the scalability of the CUCM pole so plan accordingly.

  • The Cisco Telepresence SX80 solution help

    Hello

I really want to get your help in this scenario.

We have 2 branches and planning to set (for the first site 3 SX80 of three meeting rooms) and (one SX80 for another branch).

We have all communications between sites works well and phones are connected using CUCM 10.5 my question how connect us these 2 branches to collect and SX80 features on site with a minimum of equipment?

Can make us the video call normally trunk Sip or H323 or do we have to express way / telepresence Server?

    Please notify.

    Thank you

    Hello

Could you say how the branches are connected to each other? It is through the Internet or VPN? Then we will know how to position the highways.

If you have CUCM you will use as your calling command for your SX80s and write them down on it as SIP endpoints.

SX80 endpoint can be ordered with multisite option so it can appeal a multisite up to 5 participants. You will need Telepresence server to host concurrent conferences with more than 5 participants in a conference. You also need a conductor when implementing telepresence servers to manage the resources of the Conference.

  • IP touch 10

    Hi people,

I have a question about control panel touch 10 connection to the network or be more specific - reception of the IP address to reach 10.

I have connected the control panel as described in the guide of the physical interface (you can find it here) but in the Panel "menu displayed IP autoconfiguration. from my understanding, there must be the IP address of my DHCP server. I have trouble can I find something about the use of this IP address or how to configure it.

can someone help me clarify this point?

    Thank you!

Hello, I just installed one with a speaker lead connected to CUCM. Here is a link to a good video that might help. Good luck

  • TP Installation

    Hello

I am new to telepresence, and I got a job to establish the environment of Cisco WebEx One Touch Meetinig Teleprence. have got facilities such as below:

MCS-7835-I3-ECS1, CTS 3000 codec; the documentation seems there is Server/service as Community trade marks, CT-manager and CUCM.  My question is: what equipment should perform such services, or need to connect remote CUCM?

It would be better if can get more information

I would recommend starting with the 'prerequisites' here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/cts_admin/webex_solutions/guide/cts_webex_pref.html#wp1010482

The WebEx OneTouch feature requires a CTMS (MultiPoint Switch), CTS-Manager & CUCM to implement. You can use the Commerical Express option to combine on a single MCS Server (there are some drawbacks with the number of users, etc.), see here for more details on this:

  • Configuration of mobile recording SX20.

A client who wants to have a portable SX20 (last code) they can carry off site events.  All video devices are integrated with CUCM 9.1.X.  They have the latest TMS and VCS and I was wondering the best way to save this device.  I thought that I must save it via VCS but I was wondering if I could save it to CUCM and have it connect to CUCM via VCS like video Jabber.

    Thanks for your help.

    John

The only way you can join CUCM is through the new infrastructure of collaborative Edge. For now save it to your VCS Expressway and make sure that you have the rules of good research pointing to your neighbor CUCM area and make you have the SIP routing to destination model to your VCS in CUCM.

  • Call dropped upon joining a scheduled meeting with the bridge

I am trying to upgrade our infrastructure for telepresence. We want to reassociate CTS-3000 endpoint at all locations new TP servers on newer versions (as compatibility matrix confirms versions are compatible), before you update the firmware of CTS-3000.

    Current firmware of CTS-3000: 1.7.0.2 (4719)

    New servers

    • CUCM 8.6.2a
    • CTS-Manager: 1.9.0.0 (198)
    • CTS Multipoint Switch: 1.9.3.0 (89)

When the placement of the CTS-3000 on the new server, they register correctly with the 7970 phones that control the CTS.

Everything works except the most important: at the request of the meetings by using the bridge of Community trade marks.

    • Meeting ad - hoc after the CTMS works,
    • Connection to a static meeting on all CTS MARKS works,
    • When you start a meeting, the first room to compose the bridge will connect ang get the message saying «you are the first participant...» ». When other parts attempt to reach the bridge, the call is dropped. I found in some newspapers (I don't remember those who and cannot find it again) and the error message saying something that he loses the appeal because the line is busy...

The other thing is that on the new Director of the CTS, when I go to support->-> summary endpoints, in the DUDM column-> device error, there is an 'X' indicating an error. But there is no link with a meesage to error and I don't know where to look. I think this is weired because the CTS-3000 and 7970 recording properly on the CUCM phone.

I have spend hours to compare the configuration of all servers and the web search, but may not know what is worng. Someone at - it a matter of experience?

    Hi Matt,

    Try this.

    -Connect with CUCM

-Go to the user of the Application and select the user from CTS - Manager

-Remove the point of termination/private room with 'X' mark on the subject.

-Save it and re - discover the room

-It must be passed to CTS-Manager

-Now follow the same procedure and add the MAC address of controlled device (section of the users of the App)

-Rediscover the piece, and then try again.

    Kind regards

  • ATA187 Port unused 2 - best practices?

    Hello

I am deploying some ATA187s connection to CUCM 9.1.

I only need to use a port so the second port is not used, but I noticed from the ATA web page that it is trying to register with CUCM.

What is the best practice for port 2? -is it ok to leave set to CUCM or is it recommended to create a phone ATA187 in CUCM with DN is fake?

Or is it possible to disable the port 2?

    Thank you

    Hi James,

Life expectancy is to treat you well buddy!

For my 2 cents$ I prefer just to add a dummy DN to port 2 to keep

sending of the zillions of record attempts. There is a way to disable the port

(I'm sure) but I like just the path of least resistance especially when

You can use the port next week

    See you soon!

  • Question of attribution DSP

I have 2 fractional T1s (16 B channels), 4 breaks and one 2 FXO ports (I only intend to use one).  While adding slots for the price, I ran out of DSP, so I had to steal some of XCode and CFB.  Now, I have only 4 XCode, 1 WMC and no MTP configured on the router.  It is an MGCP gateway connected to CUCM 8.6.2.

My question really is still should I XCode and SFBC material if it's local to my CUCM?  I can just handle all the conferences and transcoding on the server?

It will depend on the number of codecs that you set under the transcoder, less the codecs, you set, you are able to configure more sessions. The total number of dsp available on the router is the first consideration. A nice tool that you can use - DSP calculator

  • Conductor Rendezvous meeting - pine and pine comments

I have 2.3 conductor in driver mode Essentials (demo). I have it connected to CUCM 10 with C series end items on the CUCM. I installed a model of conference appointment and am able to make calls very well. However, when I enable pine and pine of comments in the advanced settings in the model that they do not seem to work. The first caller is invited for the PIN and they enter the PIN and start the meeting. The second call between the feedback PIN and conductor plays a message saying invalid PIN. This feature of feature works with essential driver? Or do you need one of the other licensed version of driver?

It is not all the differences between the versions of conductor (Essentials, Select, full), they are all capable of the same things, just different capabilities such as number of conference bridges, calls, etc.

Do you use an MCU or telepresence Server?

Have you considered upgrading to XC3.0?  They have added support for the pins of the host and the guest, see the release notes, pg 2, "support to the participant role determined by PIN code.

  • GSM numbers in the TMS directory

    Hello

I have AD facility as a source of the telephone directory in TMS for video settings. I'm having a problem where the GSM numbers for users on endpoints TP are appearing as H320 and so the calls fail. I have a VCS/TMS connected to CUCM and want to route mobile calls to CUCM and then get out. Is this possible.

    Thank you!

Then I was watching your definitions of zone again.

    • TMS needs to know that the endpoint can make H.323/SIP
    • The permissions for the system in the browser from should not be the call blocking options (settings down to change the planning parameters)
    • The endpoint must be associated with a zone of intellectual property with a defined gateway prefix
    • The area of intellectual property must be associated with a correctly configured ISDN zone
    • Route of the directories = yes

If all this is in place, TMS will be able to deliver to an end point unique h323 call entered ISDN or telephone through the gateway prefixes defined in the area.

If the entries are not displayed, TMS does not believe he can do a call from the bridge... the lack of supported protocols or failure of registration status.

You can test this by creating a simple dummy directory with just the vocal entries in it.  Then associate this directory to your endpoint.  If it's an MXP, you can use the web interface of the endpoint to display the directory of the business directory provided by TMS.

If you can not make it work again, I'd recommend appellant TAC where they can walk through your configuration with you.

  • Configure Jabber for Mac with local CUCM and WebEx Connect

Hi, I was wondering if someone could set up the Jabber client Mac 8.6.2 to use the server of presence of WebEx Connect with a local farm the CUCM and connection of the unit. The tab preferences accounts show or allow the addition of voice services. I added work CUCM preferences plist file local, which, according to me, are the correct entries, however I still can't see the accounts under the Preferences tab. We currently do not have a presence server local cisco where the obligation of trial WebEx Connect Server because I can't get past the first step of configuration without it.

You must connect to your Webex portal and activate these settings to connect.  Once they are allowed, log out/log in Connect and you should be able to configure CUCM TFTP, etc..
