connection to server... error sdk/webService may host...
No matter what I do, I get the following error running and the CLI commands:
"Error connecting to the server" ". https://myip/sdk/webService': Host is perhaps not a vCenter or ESX server
I checked the syntax and even used different - more simple - commands with the same error
ESXi 4.1 using - no VM still installed, try to download a package to the ESXi server more followed.
Thank you.
Joe...
Welcome to the VMware forums communities. When you specify the commands do you use the - server switch and specify your server host or vCenter ESXi? Any software of firewall running on your PC that could prevent connections? Could you post an example of command?

Hi, I am probably doing something really basic and easy to fix but facepalmingly pls have patience with this n00b...
My emails with Crazy Domains Hosting has expired a couple of months, I've just managed to get it reconnected.
When I open Thunderbird once again, I kept getting the error msg "Failed to connect to server".
I checked all the settings for the account, they are all fine as far as I KNOW. Updated to the latest version of Thunderbird, tried to restart the program and doesn't have the obligatory IT Crowd "troid torning it and turn it on again", still get the same message.Plaaaaiiss... Halllp!
Regardless of my fault for typing. What is important is that there is nothing in the DNS or whois on the domain.
Look at their own whois server it shows pending deletion, expired in April. http://www.crazydomains.com.au/WHOIS/littleredfoxdesign.com/#result
Until these public information are corrected your not likely to be able to connect because Thunderbird can not find the server. There is no DNS records to point to it.

Hey @DJWeiss,
Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.
I see that you are unable to use printable cards via the front panel of your HP Photosmart 6510 e-All-in-One printer. I want to help you with this.
Front panel inserts have been abandoned on a number of models of printers of this year of release. This means that you will not be able to access this content directly from the printer (without troubleshooting can change that). That said, you can always log on http://www.hpconnected.com/ add your printer to the devices tab and then click on Services and printable to access the same content as before. While this is a different interface, you should still be able to plan the print jobs with the same apps that you liked before.
I would like to know if this workaround is useful for you. If I helped you to solve the problem and that you liked this post, feel free to give me virtual accessories by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below by clicking on "accept as Solution" (this will help others find the solution).
Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.
Have a great day!

Windows Mail in Vista
Can anyone help please. I tried to open my email this morning - as usual - and it asks me to enter my username and password. I did it several times but it won't let me and I get as part of the error message: -.
Internet connection required: Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC92
I have been in contact with the technicians at Microsoft, but apparently they are more supported Windows Mail. I can access my mail through my e-mail provider, but it's really annoying!
Internet connection required:
This has not preceded by a long and complicated URL that begins with https://accounts... ? The idea is that you must click on the link to log in and verify that it is access you your account by filling out a CAPTCHA. Is that what you did? That's happened?

Original title: Windows live mail error send
Cannot send mail to Windows Live Mail. Error message... The server does not support an SSL connection. Server error 250. Server - * address email is removed from the privacy *. Windows Live Mail error ID - 0x800CCC7D. SMTP Protocol. Port 25.
It's better, thank you. This message is not from the BT Server; It comes from your Avast antivirus which is intercepting your mail. You would be well advised to turn off the Avast Mail shield; It does not add any additional security if you don't by attention elsewhere, and can cause problems.
I see that it is the record of mail in bulk that because of the problems in this case. Connect to the Web e-mail account and clear the items junk and deleted records.
BT is recommended to use SSL, but your original question indicated that SSL was not taken in charge for SMTP on port 25. I think we'd better go on all your settings. Recommendations of BT are on this page: BT email: what are the settings for outgoing and incoming mail servers?, but they only work if you disable Avast scanning mail.
Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties.
- Under the servers tab, make sure that my server requires authentication is selected.
Select connect with authentication in clear text. - On the Advanced tab, select this server requires a secure connection (SSL) for both servers.
Make sure that the incoming (IMAP) port is 993 and port for outgoing (SMTP) is 465.
When you've made all these changes, close Windows Live mail and wait five minutes for the program do its cleaning and save the modified settings. Then, restart the computer and make sure that the Mail of Avast shield is always off.
Launch Windows Live Mail, then dial a new test message and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.
- Under the servers tab, make sure that my server requires authentication is selected.

Connected HP - Server errors / cannot add a device
The new "HP" connected problems? I migrated to the eprintcenter at this thought, that it would be better, but so far, I have not been able to add my printer that I wouldn't have to do anyway because everything was supposed to go and whenever I click on the 'Services' tab, I get a server error. All this seems to be broken, or I'm not doing something good? Help!
Problem solved. EU set up HP connected using a different e-mail account. Apparently, one of my email accounts, he didn't like. In any case, I used an email based on the web, set up a new account at SnapFish too and then reset my printer by disableing web services, then re-help. Hope this helps others with this problem.

500 Internet Server error, it means the host has crashed?
Hi all
I just set up my environment development OFA, I tested the connection successfully, and I configured the connection of execution.
When I try to run a simple Hello World page, I get this error
I googled the error and found that it could occur because the server crashed. So I contacted the Director of the project, he said that it might be something else, not necessarily the server crashing.
Could you please tell me what can possibly be the cause of this error?
Kind regards
Afaf
Afaf,.
You have the connection to the basis of work by using the IP address or by adding an entry in the host file?
If you have not entered the entry in the host file, please, add that and try.
Otherwise, open the dbc file and replace the DB_HOST entry in that IP address.
It will be useful.
See you soon

Connect to Server error on MacBook Pro OSX10.11.4
A few days ago I have problems with my MacBook Pro (Retina display end-2013, OS X 10.11.4) and the connection to my server (Windows 7 laptop). I connect to this server from my Mac via my wifi connection, it connects and a few minutes later, the server disconnected and I have to reconnect turn off my WiFi on Mac and turn them on again, and it's very annoying that repeat after 5 min. Do you need information about my connection Wifi or my laptop Windows 7 to give me a hope of solution?
Thanks in advance and be cool!
Hold down the Option key while you click on the wireless icon in the menu bar. You will get a display something like this:
What do you see for the PHY mode and channel?
What do you see for RSSI or signal strength?
What do you see for pass rates?
very important and how many other networks do you see?

Connection to the server error
Hi all!
I am trying to connect to an ESXi server with vCLI.
The run command is:
vicfg - nics.pl - Server < ESXserver > - list
I am invited as a user name a password.
Then the following error message is echoed:
Connection to the server error "https://< ESXserver >/sdk/webService ': maybe host isn't a vCenter or ESX server"
This occurs regardless of the order.
I have four 4.1u1-ESXi server. I patched this server this morning of 348481 to 381591. All orders of vCLI works fine on the other tree. They are all 348481.
vCLI version: 4.1.0 - 254719
I downloaded and reisntalled the newest vCLI I could find and still get the same error.
I can't navigate to https://< ESXserver > either. It works fine on other servers.
Any ideas?
You can test this host? Maybe you made a mistake when you configure the network settings on the esx host...

Cannot communicate with the server error 11.5 Jabber clients Windows and Mac
Hi guys,.
I recently installed CUCM 11.5 (No. Cisco instant messaging and presence) in my lab. Its a simple installation without the LDAP server using the internal directory CUCM to set up customers. I am successfully able to connect to Jabber via my iPhone and iPad on 11.5 Jabber clients or 11.6. I am also able to connect to jabber in windows machine if I use the version of the client Jabber 9.7. However, if I use 11.5 Jabber on the Windows client, it gives me "cannot connect with Server error." On Macbook, I get this error on all the versions I used including old version 9.6.
The only thing that I noticed that it is option for iPhone Jabber Client forward to put the ip of the CUCM server on option Phone Service only. There are in Windows or Mac Jabber Client 11.6, arrangement for CCM 9 or a later version, where I put my CUCM server IP address. Am I missing something?
Kind regards
S
Hello
Just check that you have configured on the system--> the server on cucm entry. If its host name or the FULL domain name, I think your jabber for windows try to solve but unable to do so because of no connectivity to the DNS server or no entry in the DNS server. Try it below to check if she.
Change the host file on PC windows from the location below,
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc
Once you pass on the location and add the cucm entry in the host file, reset your jabber and mention the cucm for connection ip address manually and then check.

I get the following error when I connect to my via Vsphere Vcenter and try to connect to one of my server with the console:
Unable to connect to the MKS: address for server esx02.mgmt.domainname.dk host lookup failed: unknown error 11002 (0x2afa)
I'm new to VMware, I can very well do a MSTSC server and work proberly.
the VMwareTools are out of date, when I log on the server and try to update I get the following message:
any ideas here?
I discovered that it is related to DNS
WSATRY_AGAIN
11002 (0x2afa)
It is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server does not valuationauront of response from an authoritative server.
the issue was that the VMware system was on a different subnet, and the firewall (TMG) blocked. bring the RDP to the Vcenter server and vsphere then open works like a charm

Error creating socket to host: reason: Connection refused: connect
I'm moving an old x 32 server for a new 64-bit server x. With the help of Adobe support, I finally got CF8.0.1 running on the new server: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/470337?tstart=0.
I'm now trying the CF8.0.1 standard on the x 64 new machine to connect to SQLServer 2005 x 64 bit. All of the databases I try installation on the new server running on an x 32 with CF8.0.1 and SQLServer 2005 x 32.
Using the type of SQL Server disk I get the following error:
"Connection verification failed for data source: PHREDsevenSQL.
java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia] [SQLServer JDBC Driver] Error establishing socket to host and port: DELLx64Server:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia] [SQLServer JDBC Driver] Error establishing socket to host and port: DELLx64Server:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect. »Using the ODBC Socket type I don't get an ODBC DSN name in the selection box so I can not actually try this type of connection. I tried the x 32 and x 64 bit ODBC system configurations.
I checked the following:
SQLServer configuration: the port is set to 1433.
Password and user name are correct.
I looked for a x 64 bit SQLServer for CF8 on Adobe, but could not find one. Perhaps one is already installed.
If anyone has a suggestion or a solution, I would appreicate your help. Thanks in advance for your help.
