  Hi all I have built many exe, but for some reason, this one is hard!  I get an error that says: Error 1003 has occurred at \\Rochester\mtp\Test Rigs\NC4\NC4 Air Cap\Code Development\Air CAP v2.0\exe\internal.llb\Air v2.1.vi Rig inspection Cap I spent reviewing the many forum posts that suggest that one of sub vi is not executable.  The main and all vi the subvi will be running in the labview environment.  I tried a forced compilation and even a massive compilation.  All to nothing does not.  This problem occurs on two different PC and build other similar thin vi, so I guess it isn't a problem with the manufacturer. I'm using LabVIEW 7.1, 8.0 Vision and IMAQ 3.5.1: see attached report for good measure. Can you help me? If you need to sub that VI let me know. Dan

  I couldn't see anything wrong with the individual sub - vi and I tried your suggestions.  Turns out in the end a problem with the opening of the workbook with a password.  There is no security on the daughter to excel, but the vi has been programmed to use a.  If I removed the password of the vi it does not open so I added a password for the excel file and - hey presto! -everything works and relies on an exe file!

  I have not tried on the machine yet, but I am optimisic that it will work.

  I think it's for lack of microsofts!

• FPGA memory during construction errors...

  I am building an FPGA application for a sbRIO-9636. I just added an element of memory to act as a circular buffer.

  The element of memory is the size of 414000 U8 points. When I build, I get an error in the status of compilation window that starts like this.

  I just realized why I see this error. The sbRIO-9636 comes with 2 088 kbits of RAM block. I missread the quantity in 2 088 kbytes of RAM block, me wanting to use 414000 bytes will not work.

• New construction, error 80072EE2

  I built a new computer with all new parts, installed win 7 on a disk I bought for another computer. I'll reuse a key that is located on another computer, which will be decommissioned. I only managed to install 3 updates. I think that this has happened during the initial installation process. I skipped the product key page, because I know that already; 1 PC, 1 key.

  I get 80072ee2 error whenever I try to update. I tried resetting IE, nothing. I tried to disable some things non-windows. Nothing. I tried to install the current version of Internet Explorer from a flash drive. It is not equity. Same thing with firefox. I could only shoot to the top of google.com and hotmail.com once. Other pages say "not found". I have a network connection and the internet.

  I have re-installed windows. Nothing.

  I realized part of my problem. Whatever the reason for the port on the router/modem ethernet didn't work well. I've loaded my cd to the mobo drivers and used my wireless connection. After that, it worked like a champ. Problem solved.

• Construction error suggested adding to the linker

  I'm adding some xml SOAP may app.  I'm following the example of xml SOAP as close as possible.  When I compile the application, I get a non-descript "Error 2" and "error 1".

  You're certainly not the first person who thought the 404 to try to clean the locking file was the error when a build fails, then let's do this specific operation * no * produces an error in the debug log. Because, after all, it is * not * a mistake and it's obviously very misleading. Thanks for your comments, I'm going to code a fix for this.

• CS6 CC construction error

  I'm not sure if it is a question of indesign or for DPS but my folios created CS6 are now unable to build because I upgraded to indesign CC... given that it is more than 100 articles with descriptions it is a small problem... any suggestions?

  Here is the exact error message when running the command "build folio:

  and it's not true that article corresponds to the provision of the slip...

  I had to change the number of Viewer in the "Folio properties" menu and it works fine now, it is the spectator number 20 and I chnaged to 28 and we are good to go...

• The build directory path appears in the paths of internal vi EXE

  Told us our customers use ActiveX to open a vi within our exe file reference years.  However, a few years ago, we had to turn off the use of LabVIEW 8.x file layout, then the exe started to contain the path that our software has been built since.  For example if the construction c:\ourapp\ourapp.lvproj, before changing the layout of the file, we could access ourapp.exe\viinroot.vi.  Now, the paths of vi in the exe would be Ourapp.exe\ourapp\viinroot.vi.  To work around this problem, we have created a virtual disk V:\ and mapped c:\ourapp with the virtual drive.  On our x 64 build machine (with LabVIEW 2014 x 64) thise creates an exe file with the file path expected (ourapp.exe\viinroot.vi).  On our x 86 build machiene, however, the path is ourapp.exe\V\viinroot.vi, which breaks the possibility to our customers to use ActiveX to control our app.

  What should we do?

  We have solved this problem.  The root cause was cross linking to vi outside our source code directory.

  @mikeporter: we begin to do something like this and it solved the problem in the places where we have implemented this solution.  We went to the root directory where all subdirectories with sub live live and created a vi 'get the root path.vi' he has stripped that it returns path.  Then, we built all paths relative, rather than the path of our exe.

  However, there were a few places not permitted in our code that did not build paths quite the same way and so we didn't find and fix this code.  So, we still had to resolve the issue of the included build directory. In another forum post someone described that LabVIEW detects all the dependencies and then back until it finds the root folder most common and then creates the exe with files from this root.  So we understood that some of the vi in our source code were being attached elsewhere.  In particular, they were linked to copies of themselves stored in our automaded build directory.  So the solution OR proposed was mass compile the code directory.  Once we did it, this problem disappeared

• 327,23 WHQL driver cannot install the exe file

  I have a 64-bit windows 8 and a Nvidia GeForce GT 630 video card.

  Whenever I try to open 327.23-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql.exe... nothing happens unless the loading cursor displayed for a few seconds, then it becomes just the normal cursor and nothing else.

  Make sure you that have install and go to the website of Nvidia and re - download a new copy of the 327.23 driver and try to install the latest version. You should not have this problem, I downloaded and installed the driver even without any problem.   Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

• HP Pavilion dv6000: HP laptop can't find network driver

  I tried to locate the network adapter driver correct (the wired, not wireless network, which works very well) to Windows 7 for this laptop.

  I tried the drivers from nVidia (several of the legacy/nForce drivers) but in Device Manager it still says "this device cannot start. (Code 10) "(this is for the"NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller"entry, similarly he mistakes even for HP I tried.)

  Here is the list I have already experienced:

• P70 Nvidia M4000M win 10 refuses to driver to install

  Windows Update 10 has several times been impossible to install discrete graphics drivers and it is not available on the Lenovo support site. Every attempt results in the following message is displayed:

  Background:

  My original factory installation has been made unusable as he finished in a white screen. I think it was a problem of display driver, because I could access the drive shared with my network.

• Problems with deployment of network shared on windows PC when installing INSTALLER variables

  I'm using LabVIEW 2014 on Windows 7. I have a project that is developed to be a client GUI (192.168.1.208). The GUI communicates with an application of RT (192.168.1.206) running on LV RT OS and both are connected to a network. The NSV (shared network variables) are housed next to the RT (SVs is on RT/demand side project). This part (communication and everything) works very well.

  Now another part is recording data. Why NSV (hosted in the GUI project) are used for strings of communincate (events with the data) to a computer running the registration of data on this PC (192.168.1.208) server. Please note here, currently same PC (192.168.1.208) was used for recording the data server implementation, but later, there may be a new PC that's why NSV is used. I gave this information in case there may be no problem (chances are though).

  

  I created an application (*.exe) and the project GUI installation program. Saving data to the PC (192.168.1.208) if I use one of the options-project/*.exe/installer works supposed. but when I try to install this Setup program on another PC on the network which has no service OR installed gives following error during installation:

  Deployment deployment failed shared Variables.lvlib\\192.168.1.109\Shared Variables (error:-1967362042, operating system and Network Services: (Hex 0x8ABC7006) could not start service.).

  I have tried almost all the variations in the construction of Installer and .exe for it, but couldn't get rid of this error.

  I also want to know how would be a PC not having not OR services/programs installed would host OR shared Variable engine. Although application of the runtime in the application, we give option while building the .exe. But not for the EVS.

  I lost several weeks on this issue of emergency assistance would be much appreciated.

  If you uncheck the option "selection auto installers" in installer build specification, it should give you the full list of installers, you can include. It's a little weird that it has not detected the requirement of NSV, however.

  I think you make you life difficult for yourself by trying to do a few odd handshakes with strings/NSV - NSV is 'tag' data - they are good for the reading of the last value of a variable/signal. If you want to send messages around - stream, network - there is even something like reference e-mail Simple (STM) library - http://www.ni.com/example/27739/en/

• Diagnose failures

  My computer became unusable constantly crashing, and I was hoping someone could go through the Crash dump information that I got from a recent BSOD. I have also some Event Viewer files that have a lot of errors, warnings, and some critics in them. Link below:

  Description of the problems: I am able to load properly in safe mode and safe mode with network. However, normally, my computer will go dark or stop sending any signal on the screen, and I have to hard reset. Generally speaking, however, I do it on the desk and the screen freezes shortly after and I am unable to do anything. Sometimes a terrible hum will start from the speakers when this happens. Other times, my computer restarts itself on the spot without any warning, closing programs or something like that. All of a sudden a black screen and the ordinary boot process begins. Every once in a while I get the BSOD, and more recently I got a crashdump out of it, so I was really hoping that someone could review it. I had a history of chess on me, so I hope that this may point to a chronic problem with a real solution to computers.

  I used Speedfan to see if my computer was overheating, given that the crash began in earnest during the hottest week of the summer, but nothing has ever been more 70 c. In addition the computer will crash if I play a game or not, and I hardly ever actually get to the game before it crashes at this point anyway, not that I'm playing now.

  I ran many factory question performance tests on the material and everything came back fine, as far as I could tell.

  The history of reliability reports I've seen show that I have a recurring problem with Akamai Netsession Interface, which fails to install properly, and when I recently tried to uninstall, I had use without crashing my computer two days approximately. But now it's back on my computer, and I'm also blocks bad than ever. Someone could look over my data and tell me if Akamai is the source of the problem? Or if not, what?

• Install the latest Nvidia drivers on ENVY 17 t-j100 Leap Motion with 750M video, need help.

  I went back to the ENVY 17 t-j000 about 6 months ago because I could not install the latest Nvidia drivers. My brother has this laptop and after a few months, HP made an update of the BIOS and now it is able to install the latest Nvidia drivers very well.

  So I decided to try again the ENVY 17. This time, I had the model Leap 17 t Motion - j100 with 750M versus the graphics of 740 M.

  I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia and actually installed Nvidia. Rebooted and everything seemed fine. But he wouldn't let me not use the Nvidia Control Panel, because it seems that the screen was not connected to an Nvidia GPU.

  So I tried to install it again and choose the Clean install option. But to say question.

  As of today, I am able to install the latest drivers Intel and Nvidia available:

  • Intel provided HD 4600 driver version date 31/10/2013 10.18.10.3345 - via manual update disk, not the .exe installer method.
  • NVIDIA provided WHQL certified version release date 07/01/2014 332.21 (332.21-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql.exe file name), said driver 19/12/2013 - quick installation, normal use date Nvidia installer.

  Both these installed just fine and work perfectly together at the moment.

  I hope that latest drivers will continue to install and work together as new drivers come out directly from Intel and Nvidia.

  I'm just happy that I finally have two of the latest possible stable drivers.

  I have the Macbook Pro that I bought last year. It is all very well until this morning when he failed to connect with my password.
