Diagnose failures

My computer became unusable constantly crashing, and I was hoping someone could go through the Crash dump information that I got from a recent BSOD. I have also some Event Viewer files that have a lot of errors, warnings, and some critics in them. Link below:

https://drive.Google.com/file/d/0B1cLE_1dulH4VE5NY29zVk52QUU/view?USP=sharing

Description of the problems: I am able to load properly in safe mode and safe mode with network. However, normally, my computer will go dark or stop sending any signal on the screen, and I have to hard reset. Generally speaking, however, I do it on the desk and the screen freezes shortly after and I am unable to do anything. Sometimes a terrible hum will start from the speakers when this happens. Other times, my computer restarts itself on the spot without any warning, closing programs or something like that. All of a sudden a black screen and the ordinary boot process begins. Every once in a while I get the BSOD, and more recently I got a crashdump out of it, so I was really hoping that someone could review it. I had a history of chess on me, so I hope that this may point to a chronic problem with a real solution to computers.

I used Speedfan to see if my computer was overheating, given that the crash began in earnest during the hottest week of the summer, but nothing has ever been more 70 c. In addition the computer will crash if I play a game or not, and I hardly ever actually get to the game before it crashes at this point anyway, not that I'm playing now.

I ran many factory question performance tests on the material and everything came back fine, as far as I could tell.

The history of reliability reports I've seen show that I have a recurring problem with Akamai Netsession Interface, which fails to install properly, and when I recently tried to uninstall, I had use without crashing my computer two days approximately. But now it's back on my computer, and I'm also blocks bad than ever. Someone could look over my data and tell me if Akamai is the source of the problem? Or if not, what?

It seems that the hard drive has failed/is a failure and should be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 500 GB hard drive you can use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.

  • HP Envy 15 j140na: suspected of sound card - no way to diagnose failure?

I suspect a sound card that has failed on my HP Envy 15, I'm getting no audio through speakers or headphones. 10 Windows and Ubuntu, I have no sound card/no audio device detected. Is it possible to run hardware diagnostics on my laptop to confirm that it is a hardware problem, or is it a software problem?

It is soldered to the motherboard, so if the connection is doubtful it will mean a new motherboard for sound. You can use a usb sound card dongle and headset is the only solution.

  • HP Color LaserJet 2605n main circuit

    Hello.

I recently bought a HP Color LaserJet 2605nd and was very happy for a short period. Then it failed. A repair company diagnosed failure of main circuit and that no alternative is possible.

I am convinced that there will be second hand sources so that I can buy and replace the card myself. (I am a technophile electronic and capable of doing this kind of work!)

Please indicate the sources anywhere in the world.  I live in the Portugal.

Take a look on ebay. There are a few alternative control and ration cards. I think that a main draw of replacement for the printer will cost for a new printer or used may be the only option...

  • Details of the 536304-001 HP Power On / Off switch and cable LED Assembly for the Z400

Can someone help me with the P5 front header pinout on the motherboard Z400 or on the HP 536304-001 power switch and LED to the Z400 Cable Assembly?   I'm getting to is a Z400 motherboard in a case of XW8000. I know that 536304-001 does not fit in the case of XW8000 but the XW8000 part equivalent seems to have mostly the same connections. double color led, led hard drive, power button / stop.   I can see an illustration that 536304-001 use 4 connections on the side to key of header and 2 on the other. Cable colors are red, green, black and 3 white. There are also other connections to the temperature thermistor that I would not intend to use (unless explicitly required for Z400 motherboard).

    Here's a panel header pinout before Z400 P5 motherboard:

Find "missing" pin key 14 to steer this diagram properly.

Pins 2 and 4 go to the power LED.  This LED is two-way, with green in a sense (normal) and Red (diagnosis failure) in the other.  If the LEDs back to back are installed between pins 2 and 4, on lights.  If green it does not illuminate during normal operation, move the pins to the pair of diodes.

Pins at 15, 17 and 18 are chassis ID pins.  It's OK to let those pins unconnected.

Pins 6 and 8 are the power button pins.  Connect a normally open push switch between pins 6 and 8.  Do not attach any tension or Chin-ups to this switch.

RESET # may not work, but it is a prototye signal.  A switch push-button normally open between pin 7 and 6 (GND) could make it work.  It's OK to let those pins unconnected.

Terminals 11 and 12 are the thermal diode in the panel cable Assembly before Z400.  The system starts without the thermal diode, but fans can operate at full speed all the time, or may oscillate in speed (several times to go from slow to high-speed and back).  This will make the system very noisy.

    Gurus,

I'm getting the following as an error in the Validation report after you apply the hotfix for the service of the provider (11.1.2.3.505)

It comes before applying patches on the EPM system

    Before Patch.png

This is after you have applied the patches on the EPM system

    After Patch.png

I don't know what went wrong. When you try to access the URL in the browser I get "Error 404 - not found" error.

This is the screenshot of the registry for the AnalyticProviderServices0 Web Application and the validationContext shows the same URL

Should I reconfigure the service provider-> deploy to the application server, to get rid of this error message?

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Hello

A month ago, I bought a dell xps 15-l502x. It worked very well during this period. I played fifa 11, fifa 12, Medal of honor 2010, call of duty modern warefare 1 virtua tenniis4. all of these games went very well with minor problems. but now I started the call of duty black ops. and during gamplay he crashed several times. twice he appeared as BSOd but when I applied fixed releaesd of updates, the game crashes, but no BSOD. I Googled it and found a lot of people have problems on this laptop specially, not for this game, but also for other games too much on this subject. He wants your advice how to diagnose failure in portable or game atleast iwant to vaerify my laptop computer equipment. I use the dell pc support check fairly often, but it does no hardware problem. I found on the internet of people saying that you need to replace your borad because Valentine's mother problem .i also want to add that I also had the problem of game failure on fifa11 and cal of duty modern warefare. They games showed inadmissible mistakes, but I think it could be overheating. If iadded cooling pad for my laptop but now the problem has worsened on call of duty black ops. I have not tried other gmes. I also read some people saying that games hangs on their system while the power supply is plugged on I don't have noticd that thing on my laptop also dare not try this on my laptop

I need dell experts on this issue and provide a solution and address this issue in the dell xps 15, because a lot of people have this problem on this issue.

  • "ifsessid" parameter in the form 11g

We are the migration of forms 10g to 11g.

Our current configuration of 10g launches the form without the need of a browser using the runtime Java (JRE) environment.
This is necessary because of the multitude of different browsers (and versions of browsers) in use in society. Although not officially sanctioned by Oracle, it has served us very well.

The JNLP used with this 10g configuration contains the following line:

    * < param name = 'ServerURI"value =" / forms/lservlet? " ifcfs = / forms/frmservlet? config = XXX"/ > *.

However less than 11g, two additional settings are necessary, which is the session ID.

    * < param name = 'ServerURI"value =" / forms/lservlet? " ifcfs = / forms/frmservlet? config = XXX & ifsessid = formsapp.888; acceptLanguage = en-US"/ > *.

We have previously hard-coded this ID "888" session and even with multiple users running the application, everything seems OK, but I would like to be certain that this irreversible value does not problems.

    Questions:

    (1) what is the purpose of this parameter? (i.e. really serves to something)?
    (2) can this session ID be hardcoded (as in "888" in example)?

The full article in the JNLP is as follows:

    < applet-desc
    hand-class = "oracle.forms.engine.Main";
    name = "XXXX11g (DEVELOPMENT)" "
    Width = "1000".
    height = "640" >
    < param name = 'ServerURI"value =" / forms/lservlet? " ifcfs = / forms/frmservlet? config = XXXX & ifsessid = formsapp.888; acceptLanguage = en-US"/ >
    < param name = "lookAndFeel" value = 'Oracle' / >
    < param name = "logo" value = "no" / >
    < param name = "colorscheme" value = "blue" / >
    < param name = "serverArgs" value = "" escapeParams = true module = XXXX_LOGON.fmx userid=aaa/bbb@foo usesdi = debug yes no = no buffer_records no = no debug_messages = no table no = no query_only = no = yes = no render peace "/ >"
    < / applet-desc >

The ifsessid is not a "session id" in the traditional sense of the term. As I said, it is not used to maintain client-server session. It is partially used for your benefit (admin). It creates a separate newspaper marker if you have the ability to diagnose failures that find you in the log files. It gives you the capability of an entry in a log file by another in another newspaper. This can help to follow the path of a request may be taken before a failure occurred. Remember that it is not uncommon to see more than one of this value in your newspapers. This is because every time to start/stop WLS_FORMS, the sequencing of the ifsessid numbers will then leave at 1.

So, if you change the ifsessid, the only thing you will break is your ability to easily follow a failure. It won't stop tracking you. It will be just as difficult as it was in previous versions.

  • Satellite C660 - Diagnosis indicates a failure hard disk

Run the diagnostics on my two day old - Satellite C660 shows a failure on the hard drive. Check disk hard Windows ran without failure.

Can I assume that it is a false indication by diagnosis of Toshiba? The thread on this topic is not conclusive on this issue.

    Thank you Fred

    Hi frredi,

Diagnostic tool what you mean? It's the Toshiba Diagnostics tool that shows an error on the HARD disk?

If Yes, you must contact the seller of the laptop and ask for replacement laptop. Bad HARD drive sector you can still get but he s not recommendable to save important data in this regard.

So just give shop and take a new one. :)

  • HP beats 15 laptop: computer drive HARD failure diagnosis

    Hi people,

I'm a little angry, I hope one of you lovely people can help me with some advice. My wife tried using the contact HP online support face today, but did not get a useful answer. The laptop in question has still 2 months warranty on this subject and I would like this issue to be fixed before the expiration of the warranty.

    The problem:

A month or two ago my wife said that the laptop occasionally runs slowly or freezes at random times, then started working again without problem. I'm on the laptop, run scans antivirus, temporary files clear and others with CCleaner, uninstall unnecessary programs and then turn off most of the autobooting services and programs with msconfig. Nothing really came from him, but he did and apparently not having problems while I used it.

A week later, more complaints that the laptop was running slower than optimal, with another request to examine it. This time he did freeze while I use it, so I run ladies sfc diagnostics and memory, which came to own. Then it was time to try to run through the optimization of windows to speed it up a little.

Has held a few weeks for me since then, always heard there are problems, but not having is not the opportunity to study.

Last night I finally get around to running the diagnostics of HP at the start and check out the source (I hope!) of the problem. Hard disk check is coming up with an error indicating that the disk is not healthy, technical Department should be contacted directly. I saved the newspapers to a USB port, I'll post the results in the next post.

    The solution:

Could I please have some advice on the best way to proceed on this matter now? I'd appreciate any help.

    Kind regards

    Jason

    Hi Jason,

The hard drive is indeed a failure and needs to be replaced - just contact HP and make arrangements for this under warranty.

The section of the report you cite is UBV6LF-7HQ7SB-MFPV6K-60 X 103 because this will confirm the diagnostic failure with software HPs.

If you live in the United Kingdom, contact HP here.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

    Kind regards

    DP - K

  • Acer Aspire R7 stuck in the diagnosis of the PC / had media failure before you start.

I woke up this morning and I saw my Aspire R7 with a black screen. He had the 'boot failure media' text, so I hard it started again with the power button as the keys were not appropriate. The computer has restarted and then wouldn't start, so I cycled in, on and off a couple of times and then he went in "Diagnose your PC" where he stayed for the last hour and a half.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    The specifications are:

    Acer Aspire R7-571 - 53338 G 1 .02Tass

    Core i5-3337U

    Intel HD 4000

    8 GB OF DDR3 MEMORY

    Hi Squilliam!

Failure of bootable media, generally describes a fault/problem with the hard drive, or the connection. You can check the hard disk drive yourself to ensure that it is well installed, but if it's under warranty (which I think it's maybe) then contact Acer support for your region.

    Pls Help Me.

Your laptop must be new enough to be under warranty. Defective memory is quite rare but it can happen. HP should replace the memory under warranty.

  • Blue screen after Patch Tuesday during HW failure diagnosis

    People,

I have a HP Pavilion Elite m9357c plus, 6 GB RAM, Windows 7 64-bit edition, with a replaced boot drive (Seagate 1 TB ~1.5 years) and replacemante (Gigabyte with radiator cooling) video card and 1 GB of RAM - also about 1.5 years.  System has a Hauppauge and Windows Media Center Edition video capture card.

Starting after this last Patch Tuesday (Nov 2014), the system, which has been stable for years, has experienced several BSOD.  After the premiere, I started a full scan of the system with Norton 360, but it blue screened again before the end.

I then ran an Avira rescue disk, boot from the DVD of Avira scan, scanned all drives and found no problem.  I removed a few old programs to reduce the overall number then ran a registry cleaning.

Last night after 30 min of streaming video, the screen is dark and came back with another BSOD.  I turned off the system for the evening

Today, after starting in safe mode with network, review logs for clues, the monitor went black and unresponsive.

Currently, when you try to turn it on, the blue led lights, fans work, the drive blinks ~ 3times in less than 5 seconds (then no more), the blue network light is on, the DVD will blink and cycle maybe (a little more than normal).  The screen remains black and does not start the BIOS or anything else, nor the second monitor (VGA, another HDMI is).  The keyboard does not and caps lock/num lock light does not enter the LED in the mice came out.  The system has no "beep" as usual when starting

I think I have two issues here: first is a problem with something Patch Tuesday and the second a hardware problem.

Forums offer anything by a tired CMOS battery, to a failure of the CPU, low-power, the defective boot drive.

In these circumstances, someone at - it suggestions?  I'm pretty technical but not a guru of any measure.

I changed the CMOS battery and start the system.  Right now, in safe mode with network through newspapers and analyses.  My geek don't think that friends at work is a battery, since the system quit while on.  Apparently, this system can become inop when the battery is too low, even if it's on.

It's my first C and D drive.  Can anyone recommend an action plan?

    DRMiller30, welcome to the forum.

The SMART test you when your hard drive is defective or does not.  In this case, I think that the hard drive has failed.  The only solution is to replace it.

Here's a guide to help you to restore the system after the hard drive has been replaced.  It's for Win 7.
