I have a used film of button with labels for upwards and on, thinner. The button launches another SWF file when it gets to the last frame of the end labeled section. The function is called to play the OnRelease label. The problem occurs when the user moves the mouse over the button until the Tween has fully played. I would like to know how to make a mc continue to play regardless of the mouse or button for full or no interpolation.

do not use a Deployment Manager. instead of a loop on the last frame of your more ltween running a hitTest() between your mouse and movieclip button repeatedly. use the results of this hittest when run your behavior of implementation and to terminate the loop.

  • Error reading film on a slow connection

I get the following error when I load a movie with slow connection:

Unable to read the "symbolData" undefined property

I managed to find the cause:

File Movie_edgeActions.js is called with independent function as soon as it loads. Unfortunately, the Movie_edge.js file is usually much bigger than the file edgeActions (we speak of tens of kb/s for the file edge compared to 3, maybe 5 KB for the edgeActions file). So on a slow connection, the actions file is executed before the edge file is even loaded in the browser.

    Very easy to simulate:

Open the movie with a violin running as a proxy.

Use fiddler "simulate modem speeds" and "Disable caching" options (rules-> Performance).

I think this is a serious bug. It is very likely to occur when you surf on 3G...

Until it is resolved (I wish I had a due date of estimate), I decided to manually change the autonomous function call and call it myself when both files are loaded. I'll try to deal with him myself, but if someone has already done it, or know how I had to, I'd be happy to get some tips.

Add: I changed the anonymous function to a named function and I call on AdobeEdge.bootstrapCallback (I did something similar to this post).

It works very well with a normal connection, but on a slow connection the callback is never called. Furthermore, I see the edge.js file, performs the transfer on a violin with the http 200 status, I see it also in network monitor chrome with status 200, but it is not added to the list of scripts on the chrome developer tools. So I think that the problem is actually in the preloader itself. I'll try to work around him somehow...

Last thing about performance - is there a plan to include in publishing an option to create the entire film (preloader, action and edge) in the form of compressed js file single?

We have an implementation that coordinate the 5 different films, which involves 15 loading js files (or at least 10, because I can integrate the preload in my own js file). As you probably understand, 3 g, this can mean a lot of time until the entire application is loaded.

    Thank you

    Lior

Change of AdobeEdge.yepnope.errorTimeout in the preloader has solved the problem.

    I changed from 4000 to 400000.

EDIT: I restored the changes in the actions file (it also works with stand-alone function).

The AdobeEdge.yepnope.errorTimeout is declared inside the AdobeEdge.requestResources function in the preloader, so I stated this function in my main html, it will be replaced by one of the generated preload.

  • Updated El Capitian, why can't I read films in imovie in the DVD player, I did?

In original imovie I could play the iMovie anywhere, I did, now the iMovie I made won't play in any DVD player. What hurts when I made them?

In order to play your DVD in a DVD player, to do with a program like iDVD for DVD authoring.   You can make a DVD of data without using a design program, and who will play on your computer but not on a DVD.

With the latest version of iMovie, you make a DVD created by sharing your movie to a file and then dragging (import) this film in a

creation of program such as iDVD or other ones you can get on the market.    He will then play on a DVD player.

  • NetBook Toshiba NB505 - reading Film HD

    Hello

I have a Toshiba NB505 Netbook and I think I do something wrong, or our netbook isn't in it. While trying to play HD/BR movies on our off netbook a file on VLC media player, it plays all nervous and pixelated. Simply very bad as you can't see what is displayed on the film. Is there a graphics option I need to change in VLC or something? I like to watch movies here at least.

    Thank you

A few days ago I BD rip of my brother. I want to watch using VLC player, but I noticed the same thing. I was quite frustrated and angry because VLC is my favorite player, but I tested it with Windows media player and I was surprised that everything was OK.

Can you please test it too?

  • Analog continuous read/write

    Hello

I want to create a genorator simple signal, which will send a signal of analog control to a device and then read only devices in the post comments.  (See the attached VI)

The program must accept the users entry for DAQ channel selection and voltage Min DAQ and IO analog since all daq 6008 to 6215 will be used.

I think that the best way to implement is with virtual data acquisition channels.  I found another one on the forum, but it did not work for my configuration.

I'll be very grateful to any suggestions you have!

    Thank you

  • A better way to make a continuous read/write on a NOR-6008

    Hello

I use a USB of NOR-6008 module and have a loop of the software configuration where I acquire analog signals, digital signals, then, then put a digital high or low and repeat. I use digital multiplex outside the material so that I can use 6 of the analog inputs to read 12 signals. The digital inputs that I have are connected to the buttons on a panel that are used for the entry instead of the screen of the computer of the user. My loop is also to build a buffer zone of all the signals on the analog and digital lines that I read in so I can on average and this process elsewhere in the program.

The question that I am running is because this loop is very slow and on the final product is performed on a touch screen, XP Embedded PC and just this acquisition loop begins again as much CPU as the rest of my program. I would say that drops of loops on 4 or 5 cycles per second, which means that my update of 2 multiplex signals or longer than a second time. I would really like to better performance and does not use as much of my CPU resources.

I use a way simple enough to make the loop of the acquisition, by setting the parameters I, reading, deleting the task, defining the parameters DI, read, erase the task and then by setting the parameters, write about it and delete the task, which gives a slight delay and repeat.

Any thoughts on a better way to start the read/write that what I'm doing?

I have attached the code examples in the loop of the acquisition that I use.

    Thank you!

First of all, the best plan is to move the chain DAQmx before the loop to create and use a start DAQmx, then write in the loop, then clear once the loop ends.  This configuration must be done once, not every time you write the channel.  This should speed things up considerably.

  • Captivate module continues to run behind the film

I have a movie file which should open in Windows Media Player. The user clicks the button to start a video from the module of Captivate, and Windows Media Player, and then appears in front of the window of Captivate. My intention is that the user will then close the media player, back to Captivate and click continue to go to the next slide. However, what is happening is that the module runs in the background and the user comes back in a Capivate module that has progressed to a certain number of slides. I would like suggestions. Thank you.

Hi Brian, and welcome in our community

How do you create the button "start video"? Is this really a button? Or is it a box click object?

I assume you are using the option 'Open URL or file'? If so, click on the drop-down list to the right where you specify the URL. You should see options for the new window and others. At the bottom is a checkbox labeled "continue reading film. Deselect the option that and you should be set.

  • Return of an attached .pdf

    Help!
I introduced a button that opens a .pdf document. It works!
But at the closing, the programming back in the swf file to the screen we were before:
-If I close the window of pdf, the swf file in its entirety closes
-If I use the "back" button on the browser, the swf file starts from the beginning.
    Any idea?
PS: I have only the captivate.1 version

Hi Cathacour and welcome to our community

When you set the options to open the PDF file, look to the right and you should see a down arrow button. Click on this button and you should see an option called New. Choose that option and your PDF should then open in a new instance of the browser.

This next bit is important, so don't stop reading yet. Before closing the dialog box, just click the down arrow button again. (Yes, I know that you already click on it once) This time through, deselect background "continue reading film.

Just give it a go, and it should work.

  • Call another project

I call another project in a project. It works very well, but what I want to do is call the second project, launch it and then when he finally continue with the original project, to the point where I called the other. I.e. play screens 1-5, gives the opportunity to execute the second project, if the user is running, then come back to the original starting screen 6.

I don't see an option for what to do at the end of the second project to do (stop project, project of loop etc.). Or can it be done? Thank you.

    Hi bobelmore

One thing you might be able to do is to launch the second project in a new instance of the browser. Your username would then close the browser, how they would return to the film, they were all first. The original film would not continue until they are back and clicked a button. To do this, insert a click box or a button that would call the second project. Notice that to the right of where you specify the project is an arrow down. Click and you can select 'New' to open it in a new window. Click a second time and you can deselect "Continue to play the project" (or "continue reading film' If you use Captivate 1)

Hope this helps a bit... Rick

  • How .vi DAQmx Read (analog 2D NChan DBL NSamp) to acquire continuous data?

I try to get the .vi DAQmx Read (analog 2D NChan DBL NSamp) to acquire data continuously.  The 'help' indicates I need to wire the number of samples per channel-1, but it doesn't seem to work for my application.  If I have the wiring to any number greater than 0, the data collection works, but is not continuous.  I enclose the code (Sept15_MainPanel_WorkingBaselines_ApplyBaselines and Calibration.vi) and a Subvi (Collect_Baselines.vi) if someone wants to take a look.

Here's what I'm trying to do:

I use a unit NI USB-6009 to collect analog voltages of load cells 2 (channel 0 and channel 1) and 2 displacement transducers (channel 2 and 3).  The main panel of the VI contains a listbox with 4 options - 'Check EMG channel', "Collect base lines," "Collect Data" and "end of program".  'Collect base lines' 'End of program' work and I'm working on writing code to "Collect data".

For the option "Basic collection", 2500 samples are read from 4 channels described above and 2500 samples are averaged.  This works.

The option "Data collection" - I would like to that data from 4 channels to acquire permanently.  Finally, for the option of data collection, data acquisition stops when channel 0 detects the force of 200 N - so I will not always have a finite number of samples read.  The time it takes to reach the value of this force will be different for each test.

-How can I get continuous samples for my 4 channel?  Is .vi DAQmx Read (analog 2D NChan DBL NSamp) function badly and if yes, what should I use?

Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice.

    Esther

First, in case 1, you need not the structure of flat sequence.  The son of the error and data properly will dictate the flow of execution.  Then, in State 2, you must initialize the shift register, unless you want to keep the data is accumulated each time that you run the vi.  The reason why you don't see all the data here is because you have - 1 wired for the number of samples per input channel.  You must connect a number here, even if you are taking continuous samples.  The service needs to know how much sample to gather at one time.  If you put-1 here, the number of samples per channel must be set up in the synchronization function DAQmx (sample clock).  If you specify a number here, then you put-1 in playback function.  The DAQ hardware will read continuously, you must retrieve the data from time to time, so you must specify the number of samples.  By reading inside a loop, it will continue to read until the stop function is encountered.  I guess that the Clear function acts as a stop.  But you must always indicate playback vi how many samples to read and return on each iteration of the loop.

The documentation is a little misleading.  He warns that a - 1 will cause a continuous reading.  But the pads are so big, he can not read continuously forever without losing data.  If you specify a finite number, playback in a loop, and he will read this number and return the data (empty the internal buffer) at each iteration of the loop.  Continuous means that you just call the start function once.  He will read at each iteration of the loop until the stop function (or clear) is called.

Here is the difference between the setting of the Timing DAQmx function for continuous or finished reading: finite samples requires a tenure, he reads the finite number of samples, and it's done.  It requires another start to read more data.  Continues to read requires only a start.  It still reads a finite number of samples, but when this is done, you can retrieve the data by calling the read function until he could continue.  After the reading, you don't have to call for new start.  Look at it this way.  Start is what starts the collection of data, not the read function.  Just read empty buffers in your data feed.  The data acquisition continues in continuous mode, but you must call read again to get the data on the pads.  If you specify basically buffer size when you set the number of samples per channel.

  • How to set a mark in a document so that I can continue to read later?

How to set a mark in a (large) document so I can continue reading later? (as a marker of paper in a book paper)

Many facilities, owner, user, service, etc., the manuals are long enough, and often, we don't have the time to read in one sitting.   I need a way to place a tag or a 'Ribbon' (use of Adobe 'signet' for something else) to the point where I stop playing, so I can easily continue from there when then I have a little time.

Use annotation tools, like the stars. Then, you can simply open the comments list, click it and it will jump to its location.

  • How can I stop after a slide and require a next button to continue?

In collaboration with CP5 for Mac. I have therefore about five slides with a voiceover narration. I can't understand how to make the whole show stops when a slide is over and require the user to press the button forward to start at the next slide. I am using the PlayBar Captivate provides, which I tweaked in the skin Editor (changed colors for most). Looks like it should be easy, but miss me where this setting is. I clicked on the slide in the timeline panel and then in the Actions pane, I chose "No Action" on the output. It has been previously set to 'Go to the next slide.'

I hope I don't need personalized for this...

    Thanks for the tips!

Captivate the default behavior is to read the content as if it were a movie.  If you want to stop, you need to force it to do by clicking on the button pause on the playback bar, or you can set to stop at some point by adding an interactive object such as a click box or the key to the chronology of Captivate and dragging the point of break for this object.  Then, when the user clicks on the button or box, the break is released and the film will continue to play.  The great thing about all this is that you can also define actions to perform when the user clicks the interactive objects.  So instead of just continue reading, you can also opt to go directly to a totally different slide if you want.

It might take a bit of getting used to, but once you understand how Captivate works, it is really very powerful and provides a lot of creative scope.

  • Data acquisition reading incorrect when you use a loop

    Hello

I wrote a simple VI (00, 01, 10, and 11) output to a circuit connected with 4 resistors. Based on what value the ciruit receives, it passes current through a particular resistance. It is again entered in Labview and traced.

The problem is when I send a particular value (i.e the 00, 01 and 10 and 11) and get that back, it's okay. But when I send and receive the consectively connected via the loop counter, they are incorrect (not synchronized with the number of the loop).

I made sure that circuit works very well. It has something to do with the loop synnchronization, reset, value compensation, etc. can be.

    Please Guide...

Change your DAQ assistant that reads to be 1 sample on request.

Right now it is set for continuous samples.  And 10 samples at 10 Hz.  Then it runs and starts.  The next iteration, you send a new digital out, but the wait for 4 seconds.  When you read again, you get the next 10 samples that are put into the buffer of data acquisition, but now 40 samples have actually entered the DAQ buffer.  In time your DAQ buffer will be finally complete and raise an error.  In the meantime, you will continually read data continues to become more tainted by the iteration.

  • Problem in reading the PWM signals in myRIO 1900

    Hi guys,.

I work with myRIO to generate PWM pulses.

Here is the block diagram of my circuit.

I connected external to the analog input pin PWM pin. So I can watch the PWM pulse in the waveform table.

But the waveform is not clear. This is as shown in the screenshot.

See that the waveform is not correct. When I'm watching the same PWM pulses in the CRO (cathode ray Oscilloscope, oscilloscope real in the real world), I get exactly the waveform. that is, the PWM pulses are generated correctly. But the analog read is unable to read the PWM pulses.

I faced the same problem with the pin of analog reading earlier when I read the input voltage. Is not give continuous reading of the voltage input.

Please guide me how to read these impulses via analog read.

Please tell me at what frequency range, I can use this myRIO to generate impulses?

I am able to use 40 kHz?

    Hi rcs.
The desired pulse frequency is 10 KHz. My sampling rate must therefore 100 kHz, which is not possible in data acquisition mode. There is another problem with the myRIO. Only AI0, BI0 and CI0 has n-sample mode. The analog input pins is still have no n-sample mode. But in my project, I need 4 pins of I in n-sample mode, which is not possible. In addition, the sampling rate should also be favourable, which does not happen in my case. We can say that this is a disadvantage of myRIO with data acquisition mode.
The only alternative to solve this problem is to use FPGA in myRIO.
He can taste a 25nS rate.
    But little complexity is there
