  I use a stack view for this application and once the user is logged on to the application that they see this "Home Page" that contains essentially two components as follows:

  So in my TeachList.mxml file I have this < mx:ButtonBar > and one of the buttons is 'Add teachers', when this button is clicked, I want to hide the component StudentList using view States and finally display a form for the user on the same screen, so they can add a teacher. If all the code is in a single file, I think I could do it myself.
  
  I tried to put the tag < mx: states > in the file AppMain.mxml, but given that the < mx:ButtonBar > mxml code was inside a different file, that he did not see the block < mx: states > I added in the file 'AppMain.mxml '.   Yes - you have to control the use of custom events.

  Let me to pseudo code it for you - you'll have to maybe a little research yourself

  (1) create a State which removes the student list and displays the component that you want to display (I'll call it 'state2' for now).

  (2) in your teacherlist component, create the event, something like this:
  
  [Event (name = "customEventNameHere" type = "flash.events.Event")]
  

  (3) in your teacherList component dispatches the event:
  public function buttonClickHandler (): void {}
  var eventObj:Event = new Event ("customEventNameHere");
  dispatchEvent (eventObj);
  }

  Call this function when the user presses the special touch in your teacherList component.

  (4) manage the result. Using Flex Builder? If Yes, when you press the space bar on your call to the teacherList component, you will see the "customEventNameHere" event available.
  

  (5) change of State:
  public void changeTheState(eventObj:Event):void {}
  currentState = 'state2 ';
  }

• HP dv6-2174tx screen touch volume control display missing

  I have HP dv6-2174tx I formatted the hard drive and partitioned as I wanted. reinstalled windows 7 Home premium 32-bit. Everything works fine. I just lost the volume control on the screen that appears when you turn the volume upwards or downwards. I can't find the software/driver to be installed to make it work. Anyone know what that/where I might find it? Thank you so much in advance for any help!

  To get visuals on the screen, you will need to download and install MediaSmart SmartMenu here (version 3.2.1.12 for 32/64-bit Win7).

  Before you do that you must have installed at least one application of the MediaSmart software package. The best choice will be in my opinion:

  MediaSmart DVD here (version 4.1.4328 for 32/64-bit Win7)

  Above solution have one flaw. When you adjust volume for example while playing games or videos online then the current window will be inappropriate to display visual effects. If this can be annoying you then uninstall system MediaSmart software and use another product that is:

  3VRX here (version 2.5 for 32/64-bit Win7)

• Do you prefer the control display or reading to keep hidden?

  I'm curious. When it comes to e-Learning modules for research professionals, created with Adobe Captivate, you prefer to display the playback control bar or keep it hidden?

  Personally, I think that the interface looks better without the playback control bar.   I guess it's always a personal preference.

  If anyone is wondering how to hide game on your Captivate presentation bar you go to project/skin editor and deselect show the read command.

  Second Skin editor tab, first tab is for reading, third bar for OCD.

  I'm currently running Application Express 4.2.5.00.08 on Debian.

  If click on Session-> display-> there is no Session State page element.

  If I connect to the database as sys and I run the following command:

  where application_id = 500;

  all my Articles page are displayed but not their values.

  What do I need to configure something in the APEX?

  Page elements have any value in session state to the point that do you? Note that the time with null values are not displayed, and point values defined by using properties of the Source item or by default during the page see the transformation come not in session state until the page is sent.

  The default port for the server short number is 7770. If "quick start" is the name of your data store, then the command must therefore:

  http://localhost:7770/admin/quickstart? op = stats

  Moreover, 8080 is the default of the Tomcat port on which the Studio is running. That's why you see the Studio, not the Dgraph stats page page.

Obtaining and maintaining the professional competence in several programs are considered the norm. And the category advances, become more powerful, even while becoming more affordable (growth).

  Energetic beginners devote their efforts to the development of the energy situation: platforms, scripting, data, games and mobile applications-based solutions. Open source innovates in terms of business model, if it is in terms of software functionality and provides powerful applications to nearly zero price.

  And everyone yawns during the debate of 2D drawing and "yesterday's news" appears in more archaic, more as its stagnation continues. And unfortunately continues to fail to reach its potential yet-to-be-understood.

  Finally, self-fullfilling cycles are broken. Thereafter. The last disturbance to this particular cycle comes from Adobe itself: it's the only legitimate rental license regime, which continues.

• palette brush control display seems to be missing

  Hi, I have somehow either deleted or changed a setting somewhere. I don't have the options panel that once allowed me to change the parameters like jitter and tilt for pressure sensitive options related to my wacom tablet.

  After spending an hour scouring google, I decided to come here and see if some wise soul knows how to help with my situation.

  I just thought of it. If I click on shape Dynamics tab then the menu appears, then the error I was counted just the checkbox. So clicking on the current tab, I now have the menu visible. Still a bit strange I know normally I can access this menu from the drop down. I must have somehow closed to the bottom of this window.

  Should I remove this thread now that it is resolved or keeping it open for future reference?

  You are right, I found examples of Robotics that use 3D photo control and display Simulator control to display a scene 3D on the front panel. After further research, it seems that control the display of Simulator adds additional features compared to the 3D picture control. The control displays Simulator allows the user to right-click control during execution and change the background color, draw fashion, draw contact, view the ID of robot, display sensor data, suspension of service Simulator and reset service Simulator.

  LabVIEW, the default 'resets' orders or the default value (zero) indicator.

  The reason why you have to put your code inside a loop is very intuitive and a knowledge of the "common sense". You must specify the computer to keep your program execution for a specified period or until you force quit. If you don't do this, your machine runs each statement once and then, period. Imagine a plane that runs a control post (the brain) code within a material, without a loop. It will run once (for a period of a few microseconds) and then your aircraft will have no brain to decide what to do. So it will crash. Millions of lives will be lost.

  The loops are necessary 'energy' to keep your active code for a while. Your code will run once, and after it is finished running, its controls and indicators back to their State natural quantity ZERO.

  Maybe it's one of the reasons for your problem. Try putting a WHILE LOOP with a FALSE Boolean constant hung with terminal condition. Or simply wire a Boolean control the State OFF. If there still is no temperature reading, or get the reading as you mentioned, then there must be a problem with the acquisition hardware that you are using to measure the temperature.

  Try to put the loop first, observe and come back here.

  An other logistics major, that you need to take care is the SUBJECT LINE. Do not mention the title of the project in which you are facing problems. You are the door problem on only a part of your overall design. Try to get to issue brief, to-the-point. For example I have a robot (General design) where I get no ultrasonic sensor data (a design offer) because Calendar and the sycnhronization is a little new to me in LabVIEW FPGA (under part of part of overall design). So my subject line would be Timing and Synchronzation ultrasonic sensor in LabVIEW FPGA.
