Control of Cisco VCS prefix add

Hello

I'm trying to get VCS to add a prefix to a string e.g. 33333 E.164 becomes 4233333.

I tried to do by using the rule of research and transformation, but every time I test I still end up with an appeal that crosses as SIP rather the H.323, resuming a traversal license.

What I have tried is the following;

Transform

Priority 6

Model Regex

String [email protected] / * /

Prefix for adding behaviors

Add text 42

Search rule

Priority '30 '.

Protocol "H.323".

Source 'everything '.

AUTH 'no '.

Mode "correspondence".

Type "Regex".

String '33, d, d, d.

Behavior "replace".

Replace "4233, d, d, d.

Football match "continue."

Target 'local area '.

If I test the transformation it seems to work, but actually my call does not have the added prefix.

I never had this work once, but then I ended up with 2 calls a trversed and the other no-treversal.

The reason is we have a RMX 2000 bridge that records only the permanent conferences such as SIP and compose their H.323, to first in the prefix followed by the id of the conf. It is to make all the standard component throughout our Organization.

Thank you

Hi Craig,.

As long as you try to send H323 to RMX, you replace the string should not have ' @domain.com ', the number.

Please, try to send only "42\1" and if it doesn't work, then try only \1 «»

Means that the physical old VCS cannot be grouped with new virtual VCS.

    Thank you.

    Hi zizou.

You can include a device VCS with a VCS VM as long as their matches of software and their hardware platforms have equivalent capabilities.

Device VCS clustered with VCS VM running on core 2 MediumVM = YES

VCS machine clustered with VCS VM running on 8 cores LargeVM = No.

"you can even cluster that are running on the standard devices with peers running on core 2 Medium VMs, but you can not group a peer running on a standard unit with peers running on base 8 large virtual machines.

  • Cisco VCS and MCU - Conference does not

    Dear community members

I have problems in the VCS configuration to work with the MCU to join to several endpoints in a conference. The components that I use:

    -Cisco VCS control v8.7.

    -Cisco 5300 MCU 5310 v 4.5 (1.72)

    -3 x SX20 end points

I recorded every endpoint and MCU on VCS, but I'm not able to do a conference call 3-way, the only option is 1 video and 1 audio (I disabled the Multisite option). It seems that VCS does not yet call the MCU in the game.

    Kindly help us with it.

Can you tell us how you set up the Conference and how you have configured MCU and endpoints?

From the sounds of it, you call each end point of one of the SX20s, but you must call simply directly in the Conference on the MCU.  If you want to have a conference point to point between two end points and then degenerate into a multipoint conference on the MCU, you must configure Multiway.

  • Cisco VCS - C keeps filling in Purge on MSDS systems

    Hello

I have a very weird question that is quite difficult to explain. We had a few failures of Fan on my Cisco VCS - C and we did a RMA number and received a new one. I installed this VCS in April this year. I start then notice every time we add a new system to their MSDS ID TMS is of the order of 2860. We have only 42 systems at this stage. Then I noticed when I'm in the systems tab Purge TMS keep my new Cisco VCS - C, populating the name of the system and the type of system, this product about 2800 times. Someone else experiencing something similar to this?

I'll try to purge these systems, the only thing is that this happen, what can I do else do I completely purge my VCS of TMS and readd it?

TMS system IDs are generated by TMS and increases when you add several systems.  You might be able to change the ID of the SQL database, systems are stored in the dbo.objSystem table, but I do not recommend because the ID of the system could be used elsewhere and you can potentially break TMS and make things worse.

  • Restricting calls between a subarea and specific extensions on Cisco VCS

Hello, I use Cisco VCS 8.5.3, my goal is to restrict calls between a subarea and specific extensions.
    I tried following solutions:

    1. Download of XML strategy
    2. Use of political appeal web interface in order to limit calls

    XML file:

But when I apply the XML file, or try using the web simple rule (for example: 11111 12222 destination source, dismiss the action) I'm still able to place the call to 11111 to 12222.

What can be the cause of the problem and what else can I try to be able to prohibit calls between a particular Subzone and exentions?

Attached, is an example of CPL script that should work.  Using this script, CPL, I was able to block calls to a subarea set to a destination alias located in the subzone of default and was always able to call any other end point in the default subfield without problem.  Note that you must enter the name of the subarea, as you have configured on the VCS, including spaces if they exist.

The scenario is based on the example of CPL "limiting access to a local gateway" X8.5 VCS Administrator's Guide on pg 413, other documents of CPL reference and examples can be seen starting on pg 410.

  • Cisco VCS Lync Interworking with Lync Server/multiple domains

Unfortunately I don't find any reference in the guides of deploymend, if it is possible to master several server/domains on a single VCSE lync. Is there a way to gather environments different lync with a vcs? For example, interoperability with clients a and b, which have completely separated from lync environments.

We wanted to master it with VCSE, or is the Microsoft key option only avalible for VCS?

    Thanks for the reply.

The Deployment Guide says you should use a VCS-control, not a VCS-Highway to serve as gateway of Lync.

I don't think I have several B2BUAs connect to Lync on a single VCS - you would need to have a separate VCS for each Lync environment (IE, one for the customer) and another for client B and search rules appropriate to direct traffic areas in the right direction.

  • Cisco VCS does not show the user account option

    Hi team,

We have 7.2 VCS server control, I'm not able to see the option of user account under maintenance-Login accounts. Please advise.

We don't have find me and TMS provisioing Extension service license, don't you think that's the reason.

I just started my first deployment of VCS, MCU and TMS and I must add customer movie, cisco Jabber video for Ipad and integrtaion with CUCM. CUCM has some end points of polycom and C40 and C60.

You precious advice will give me comfort during this deployment.

    Hello

It's probably because that VCS runs in TMS PE commissioning mode, in which FindMe is managed by the portal user in TMS, meaning there is no need to set up the maintenance > logins on the VCS.

Edit: You added information that you do not have the keys option Device Provisioning and FindMe. Because user names relate directly to FindMe, the absence of an option key FindMe would explain also unable to see maintenance > login accounts > user accounts.

  • Cisco VCS Expressway / Starter Pack = part number / Option key

    Hello

I m a bit confused about ordering cisco information. My document: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/unified-communications/...

First what we want to do. Quick and short: LAN-MCU -/- DMZ-VCSE VM -/-

-set up a new environment VCSE only for remote workers.

-ensure the video service just over the internet for Jabber and SIP/h.323 conference systems

-only the MCU as a peripheral local registerd to provide several conferences

That share and option key is therefore the best choice?

    Our plan:

    VCSE:

R VMVCS-EXPWY-K9 (comes with the Cisco telepresence video Communication Server(OVA file) Network Interface feature, characteristic of the motorway, gateway functionality, 1800 TURN relay Option, VCS-Dual)

    1. what inscriptions? There are 2500 built-in?
2 what of interoperability feature for h.323/SIP? CAN´t find in the list options.

    Options:

    LIC-VCSE-50, LIC-VCS-OCS

    Now the thing of Jabber:

We want to connect on WAN Jabber clients. This is why the VCSE STRATER PACK has the nice feature of 50 video of Jabber Cisco TelePresence licenses with management in there. But if we get that the CTI-VCS-STPAK-K9 instead of the VCSEVM, we have a limitation of 50 records and 10 calls trasversal, right? Only then the VCSE is intresting (culture and systems to support), but we want the Jabber options on it without buying an MSD.

1 can we install the CTI-VCS-STPAK-K9 key as an option on the VCSEVM and Jabber use 50 records without losing other features of Highway?
2 or is it possible to install the CTI-VCSE-SPUPG-K9 key as an option to enable Cisco Jabber 100 user on this VCSEVM?

Or do we buy the CTI-TMS-SW-K9 with LIC-MOVI-25 (the different today: LIC-JAB-MOB-25, LIC-TMS-EP-25)

    Thanks a lot for answering

One of the first things I would consider on VCS Starter Pack is that it is almost end of sale, first of September 2014, so think of this forward.

    / EOS-EOL-Notice-C51 - 731300.html

    • What these records? There are 2500 built-in?

      • A single VCS will support up to 2500 records out of the box with a valid key.
    • As for the functionality of H323/SIP Interworking?
      • Interoperability is supported out of the box as long as no separate option key not required.
    • Options: LIC-VCSE-50, LIC-VCS-OCS
      • LIC-VCS-OCS is necessary only if you plan to integrate with Microsoft OCS/Lync VCS, otherwise it is not necessary, especially for the video of Jabber.
    • Can we install the CTI-VCS-STPAK-K9 key as an option on the VCSEVM and Jabber use 50 records without losing other features of Highway?
      • The VCS Starter Pack is a separate server from the VCS control and highway.
    • Or is it possible to install the CTI-VCSE-SPUPG-K9 key as an option to enable Cisco Jabber 100 user on this VCSEVM?
      • It is possible to upgrade a VCS Starter Pack for VCS control or a highway, but you will lose the original pack starter call licenses and Jabber video optoins, like they are not transferable.  The licenses or options you have purchases on top of the basic starter pack will however is transferable.
    • Or do we buy the CTI-TMS-SW-K9 with LIC-MOVI-25 (the different today: LIC-JAB-MOB-25, LIC-TMS-EP-25)
      • If you buy the VCS Starter Pack, it will manage the delivery of Jabber video for you.  If you buy a highway of VCS, you can also buy MSD and install Extension of provisioning of TMS is free.  To use TMSPE, you will need provisioning option keys installed in TMS, the difference between the start-up option keys are simply the types of devices you can fund, all kind of do the same thing really, but for the video of Jabber, you want to ICA-MOVI-XX.
  • Route orders for Cisco VCS

    Hello

We have deployed a VCS Expressway Starterpack with dual NIC

We followed the deployment guide on how to deploy dual NIC and works very well.

We find difficult on the way to show the roads that have been set up and also how to remove roads on the VCS.

What are the specific commands for these?

Thank you for your support in advance.

    Best regards

    Acevirgil Ocampo

I checked and did not configure find a way to see what roads are currently, only the ability to add or delete, unless it is under a different command or user interface somewhere.

    xCommand RouteAdd

«Add and configure a new IP route (also known as a static route).»
Address (r): 'specifies an IP address that is used in conjunction with the prefix length to determine the network to which applies this road."
PrefixLength (r): <1..128>'specifies the number of bits of the IP address that must match when determining the network for this route. Default: 32 "
Gateway (r): 'specifies the IP address of the gateway for this route."
Interface: "specifies the LAN interface to use for this route. Auto: VCS will select the interface most appropriate to use. "Default: Auto".

    xCommand RouteDelete

    "Deletes a route."
RouteId (r): <1..50>"The index of the route to delete."

  • Controlling the RESTful response prefix

I'm working on a web service application.  The client (PC) polls (cRIO) host periodically in order to obtain the status of some analog inputs.  The host response is

    values = [[0,0.047], [1,0.001], [2,0.027], [3,0.006], [4,-0.004], [5,0.032], [6,0.011], [7,-0.004]]

without values = prefix.  Is it possible to control that?  I have my source file output type set to text in the build specification.  I tried XML and HTML, but those who do not help.  I also tried renaming my diagram terminal block to null, but that breaks things.

How do you create your channel? When I sent a simple string using server below code constant, I simply retrieve this value. What client are you using to recover data?

  • Cisco VCS and integration Lync2013

    Hello!

Could you tell me please, when CISCO officially support Lync2013 - free new software for VCS - C and documentation on integration?

The main interest is the possibility of transferring video between CISCO/MCU and Lync endpoints on the H.264 Protocol, who hails from Lync2013.

Right now, I've got VCS - C and RTM Lync2013 X7.2. During the video call without AMGW appeal established as audio only.

When using with Lync2010, it worked on Protocol H.263 and CIF resolution.

    Evgeniy salvation,

We are currently investigating the possibilities to achieve interoperability between Lync 2013, VCS and video devices on the side of the VCS standards-based, it is a work in progress and at this stage, it is to early to provide any factual information on when interop will be available.

In contrast to Lync 2010, Lync 2013 does not support H.263 for video and it so that will remove the OCS/Lync integration. I do however think that you should be able to make a two-way video between Lync 2013 and VCS-joined endpoints if you use an AMGW tried that yet?

    Thank you

  • Cisco VCS and LDAP for authentication of users

I have a question about setting up LDAP for authentication of the user on the VCS. I want to have redundancy in my LDAP link. I believe that this is possible by setting a FULL domain name to the address of the LDAP server, then selecting a type of SRV resolution. What I'm not clear on is what the value for the server address would be if I used actually as SRV type of resolution. I should also add that I am looking to use TLS

To clarify, if my AD domain name is myad.netcraftsmen.net. I have set the field as server address:

myad.netcraftsmen.NET: assuming that VCS properly interrogate the DNS for the _service._proto correct parameters?

or would I need to create an SRV record to that effect and set the field server address with the address (including the fields of _service._proto)

or I need to specify one of the SRV records formats used by MS AD areas (there are several).

If the latter, then what SRV record for TLS. I don't see records with port 389 (non-secure).

My intuition tells me that this is probably the first option, but I could be far away.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any input.

    Kind regards

    Bill

    Hi William,.

I just checked it on a X6.1 VCS, and it seems that VCS searches SRV _ldap._tcp.domain (where 'domain' has been entered as the server address), both when the encryption is set to 'None' and 'TLS '.

    Hope this helps,

    Andreas
