Conversion light wireless AIR SAP 1602

Hi, we have many points of access AIR-SAP1602I-E-K9 who are currently working in stand-alone mode, we have now a 2504 Wireless LAN controller so is possible to convert the AIR-SAP1602I-E-K9 in light mode?

Yes you can. Make sure you have at least 7.4.100.0 version on WLC in support of the AP of 1602.

1. for the conversion of LWAP, use the recovery image. First download the rcvk9w8 software from this link.

2. then, you copy the IOS to your TFTP server to your access point.

3. the order, must be registered to the AP, is: archive download-sw/over tftp: / / /.

  • HP 14-r206nv: light wireless led doesn't work do not

I have a very minor issue that don't mind operating of the laptop, but I'm curious to know why it does not work, because I know that before reinstalling windows it worked normally.

Well well, to the point now. After a hard drive failure and replacement, Windows 8.1 are installed again and each driver has been installed and works well. The only thing that doesn't work is the led light button wireless (F12). The button is working correctly, activation and deactivation of the Wi - fi, but not the led. It lights, neither white nor red, it is always disabled.

The model of the wireless card is Realtek RTL8723BE.

I installed the drivers from the HP site.

Version of the driver for the wireless card is 2013.8.915.2014

The version of the wireless button driver is 1.1.7.1

I tried the latest drivers for the card (an optional windows updates finds) implemented to date for this and the wireless button (if I try update driver in Device Manager, it installs a new) but nothing has changed for good so I decided to go back to what the official site suggests and post here.

    Hi @v1184,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

I understand that you had a hard drive failure and he had to be replaced, you did. You reinstalled Windows 8.1 and all drivers are up to date.  The only problem you are having is that the wireless button light does not illuminate, but it does not work.

You tried to update the wireless driver button, but has not changed, so you returned back to the recommended HP driver.  As the wireless button does not work it is not the driver, however, it could be that the light burned. The other possibility would be that when you replaced the hard drive, the connection has been dislodged or disconnected and must be reconnected.

  • I lost connection on the computer like many light wireless wireless router.

I've got three Kindle and a laptop computer, more my PC connected

Original title: I lost my WiFi connection at home in light of the route for the wireless is not lit.

    Hi geraldthorpe,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community. It seems that you have no internet connection on the computer. We can get this fixed number by systematically. It can be frustrating for you. But, don't worry, we're here to help.

We start with a few questions-

    (1) what is the version of Windows installed on the computer?

    (2) you are able to connect to Internet via LAN cable?

    (3) are other computers at home able to access Internet?

    (4) do you get any error code or error message?

    (5) have you made changes on the computer?

I would like more information about the issue.

    Method 1-

As a general rule, if the wireless light is not on the router means that the ability of routers to transmit wireless is lost.

The router has generally, 4 types of fires.

    Power - number 1

    Test - number 2

    Wireless - number 3

    Internet - number 4

Numbered LAN are turned on only if a network cable is connected.

If the computers are connected wirelessly, all the lights except the indicator light should light up.

I wish you perform a reset and a cycle of power to the router.

    Reset the router-

You must locate a set PIN size behind the router and press the reset button with a pointed object for 10 seconds. Now, release the button and wait for the lights to come back.

Note If the wireless light is back on.

    Power cycle-

I wish that you unplug the router from the power outlet main and plug it back again.

    Check if the problem persists.

  • My screen flashes and flashing light wireless is gone (laptop)

Product name: HP Pavilion dv5-1040ep Notebook PC (FM577EA)

Operating system installed: Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

    Error message: None

All changes to your system until the problem was happening: None

    Description of the problem:

I could not find in HP Support Assistant help some. My screen flashes while I open and move it. Sometimes, it must be almost closed to be visible. It can't Hibernate or restarts, flashing just with movement.

Partners or not, the blue light that indicates wireless, missing/is gone, but I have wireless, just the light disappeared.

There is no error message, just that two things that appeared in the material.

Someone happened to that? How do solve you? What are the parts must be corrected or modified?

    Happy to help you.

    But sad for the question.

Yes, that means lcd cable needs to be replaced. It s is not easy to do, so I advise you don t feel comfortable to open the unit to go to a repair center.

This components are very sensitive and can be damaged easily.

You can use this part number for the lcd to buy a new one, a 484367-001 is not much more expensive and is not an expensive repair.

On the need for basic wlan led to replace the switch cover and the part number of this one is very cheap in 488316-001 it s too.

You can easily find these parts on the web.

Doubts, questions or how to replace these parts just tell if I can advise and help you.

    Best regards

  • CP1025nw: CP1025nw - light wireless on

    Hello

I can't print anything.  I noticed the blue wireless light is turned on... it has never been on before, we are not wireless.   (My boss 'share' my printer from his office, but that's all.)  My printer is hard wired to the computer.  I unplugged, powering down everthing but the blue light is still on.  If we are not wireless would it therefore not printing?  If so, how I turned off the light so he is not recognized as wireless?

    Thank you!!!

Thanks for letting me know that everything works correctly again Epluta.

  • Conversion light AP1230B AP?

Hi everyone, we have a certain 1230 b we would like to take advantage of our imminent deployment of WLC and I wonder if we can convert these autonomous AP for featherweight?

    Hello!

For all IOS 1200 Series modular access point (1200/1220 Cisco IOS Software Upgrade, 1210 and 1230 AP) platforms, it depends on the radio:

    -If 802. 11 g, MP21G and MP31G are supported

    -If the 802. 11A, RM21A and RM22A are supported

The 1200 Series access points can be upgraded with any combination of supported radios: G only, one, or two G and has.

You can not move from access point 802. 11B - radio 802. 11A only or first generation.

Thus, 1230 b cannot be upgraded to LWAP.

    Please take a look:

    Original title: wireless connection

    Hello Ruka,

Thanks for choosing the Microsoft forums.

I understand that you can not connect to the internet using the Wi - Fi connection on the computer.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you further.

You did it all change hardware or software before this problem?

Try the following and see if they work for you.

Make sure the wireless, as the function key switch for the wireless is turned on. Please refer to the user manual that came with the computer.

    Method 1.

Try to use the network for Windows 7 troubleshooting:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

    Method 2.

Please try to look in the Device Manager for any exclamation point in Device Manager.

    Check the network card

    1. click the Start button picture of the Start button, type "device manager" in the search box and then in the list of results, click on Device Manager. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2 expand adapter option and then check for any point of exclamation.

Is there an exclamation point on found network adapter, then we troubleshoot the missing or corrupt wireless drivers. And we must also update the latest driver wireless from the manufacturer's Web site.

To install the latest drivers for network adapter from the computer manufacturer Web site:

  • Why two machines in my connection loose House would be the night while 3 have always. The status light in air port utility open orange both while it is still green on the other 3?

What would be the status of 2 of my devices in air port utility 5 apple change to orange next to the icon internet (it looks like a planet) while the other 3 are still green and works very well. They were all working fine last night and didn't work this morning when I woke up. 2 devices that stopped working (status changed) are a 2012 macbook pro and iPad 2. the three devices that still work are a 2009 mac book pro, iPad mini 3 and an original macbook (white). I tried to pick up all the devices (modem/router/stop devices) and reboot but no change in status. I get internet from a modem connected to a time capsule (2nd generation).

I forgot to mention that the macbook pro (2012) can connect to other networks, I have not tried with the iPad 2.

  • Help AIR-LAP521-G-E-K9 wireless access point

    Hello everyone,

is there anyone who can give me guidance on how to configure an access point wireless AIR-LAP521-G-E-K9 offline? I tried to connect to a standard 1 GB switch, feed it with an IP via DHCP, it responds to the PING, but when it comes to detect in the CCA (3.1), it says unable to connect without even asking username and/or password. Try to connect to it via HTTP or HTTPS does not work either.

Perhaps someone could explain to me what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

    Stefano.

    Stefano,

The 521 AP series can operate in light or autonomous mode. If your AP is currently the light image above we can convert by using tftp. (I suspect it does, as shown in light AIR - LAP number while AIR - AP is generally self-contained)

The best way to check is to check the details of neighbor of cdp for the version of the software AP (or connect to the console of the AP and issue a 'show version').

If the software has 'k9w7' in the name, which is autonomous. If she has "k9w8" then it is light. When operating in light you will be not able to telnet/ssh or go to the web page of AP.

To convert your autonomous access point, please follow the procedure described here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/wireless/access_point/conversion/LWAPP/upgrade/guide/lwapnote.html#wp160918
