conversion of encoder

I have this factor of coder and I'm trying to find a way to convert it to real-world units for speed and acceleration.

1.0 mm / 34 304 numbers

How do the following:

1.0 mm/s (speed) =?

1.0 mm/s ^ 2 (acceleration) =?

Thank you

To calculate speed, first capture a certain number of points. As noted Tim distance is counties/34304.

The velocity is this value (distance) divided by the time it takes to collect charges.

Acceleration is the speed differences between the points of consecutive data divided by the time difference between two data points. dV/dT

I just stumbled upon this problem there is, it's an easy solution to calm. If it's a .pdf to locate the file right click and select open with, then choose program select by default, choose the adobe reader software. What it does for each .pdf file it will use adobe reader instead of trying to use the wrong program to open the file. Same thing with .doc and .docx files only instead of adobe reader choose microsoft word

  • Conversion of image sequence Cineon LOG in Apple ProRes 4444 XQ in Media Encoder CS6

    Hello

I have a sequence of images Cineon LOG I want to convert to Apple ProRes 4444 XQ, but I'm not sure of the procedure.

I use Adobe Media Encoder CS6 on a Macbook Pro OS 10.11.2 2012.

Could you please tell me how to on this subject?

Also, I find that I don't have the ProRes 4444 XQ Preset codec in Media Encoder... Can I download it somewhere?

    Thank you

    Tiya

The problem is resolved. Here's how:

I bought ' Glue Tools Cineon / DPX Toolkit for Mac OS X and used it with Apple Compressor 4 on my Macbook Pro (2012) running El Capitan.

I was able to convert Log Cineon sequences of images in ProRes 4444 XQ QuickTime movies.

    Some things to note:

    • After downloading the Toolkit, you must activate it from the system preferences panel and make sure that you select the correct Conversion settings in the Cineon / DPX icon (bottom of the system preferences panel).
    • Glue Tools also have a trial / demo for you to try Mode.
    • Currently, glue tools Cineon/DPX Toolkit (4.1.2936) supports only compressor 4, but can add features for the Media Encoder and other tools in the future.
    • Use "Import a file" compressor 4 and select the first file of the Cineon or DPX image sequence when you try to get the glue tools to read them. Do not use 'Import Image Sequence'.
    • Once you have written the ProRes 4444 XQ, you may still need to correct color, but Glue Tools has excellent support.

  • conversion of WMVs exported from the WebEx recording Editor, will hurt video encodes with SOUL 5.5 and 6

I need to convert WMV files (which were created using Cisco WebEx recording Editor tool) to the h.264 format. This tool of the registration editor is the only tool that can get stuff on the native format of recording (.wrf) WebEx to WebEx meetings record that literally nothing includes. So I'm stuck with this WMV. That WMV has some odd properties. Media Encoder signals the WMV like 1680 x 1050 (1.0) 5 fps, unknown mono, 8 kHz,

When I try to convert the WMV to MP4, the video becomes black during a long period beginning just around a point where the image has changed on the screen. I tried a lot of output parameters that are different including cadence mapping, and the use of standard frame rates and a quick attempt with CS6 CS5.5 and nothing helped.

For what it's worth, I tried to download the trial of episode 6 and threw in that and claimed a h264 and he says, she does not have the decoder. But I'm not sure that the demo version of Telestream Episode opens WMVs.

Someone out there has already solved this problem or got any ideas for replacing encoders that may well face WMVs is not quite compatible?

    Shayne - Weyker

I found the solution. WebEx recording Editor allows you to choose from two different flavors of WMV9 to export to. And it is unclear that have selected it (I think that by default is bad) unless you open the menu drop down and watch because it truncates the name of the selected codec. The choices are

Windows Media Video 9 Screen (BAD, problems of conversion)

    Windows Media Video 9 (good)

Choose the right choice and export the WMV and then you can convert with Media Encoder.

  • Media Encoder conversion queue does not start

Hi - I've recently updated the Media Converter.  I'm trying to convert a batch of WAV files to MP3.  I uses the same process that I always used successfully before the update, but when I click on "start line" nothing happens. I get no error message, I tried pressing return instead of click on the arrow and I tried the file > start the queue. Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?  I have attached a screenshot below.  Thank you

If you are on Mac OS there is still one thing you can try, close the SOUL and then delete the folder

Please make a backup of this folder before you delete it in order to get a copy of this book.

  • Export Source 24 Bit WAV as float 32 bits before the conversion in Adobe Media Encoder?

    Hello

I am exporting movies from After Effects as .avi and I was wondering what I need to do to preserve my audio is close to the source as possible. My audio file of the source is 24 - bit / 48K. I use Adobe Media Encoder to encode audio/video like YouTube Widescreen HD but since After Effects doesn't offer 24-bit export, should I export as a 32-bit float? And is that going to change my audio somehow before moving to Adobe Media Encoder?

I've read about it on some different forums, but am still not not clear about this...

    Thank you

    Henry

Sorry, but you've made a fundamental mistake - a non-standard rate.  That's a no-no.  A big.  You will have to use a standard frame rate and come up with another way to get things to work.  You'll foolin' with frame rates.

  • BWF batch conversion - workflow Bug of Media Encoder radio station problem

    Hi all

I just thought that I'd share a problem I had, and it's more a question of workflow, even with the latest version of CC.

Hearing can open BWFs end RCS (Master Control switch/Linker, Zetta) software, which is great. I can then save the files in the form of lots in MP3 at 320 k etc.

The problem I encounter is a bad workflow. If I want to convert the files of 1500, I load files in 1500 at the hearing and then sit and wait until they are converted batch.

I thought that there must be a better way. So I decided to try the same thing in Media Encoder, but the program does not support BWF...

I find it a little strange.

In the next version, can you do Media encoding support the same file formats as the hearing?

    Thank you

    Steve

As you discovered Media Encoder from Adobe primarily majors on video encoding formats, but does not contain some of the professional audio codecs based unfortunately.

  • Flash Media Encoder .f4v file .avi after conversion more

This is my first time using Flash Media Encoder.

I converted a 168 MB. Video to AVI. F4V and the file that results is 302 MB.

    Is this normal?

What could I have done wrong?

I'm not familiar with the CamStudio compression settings, but it seems to me that AVI bitrate is lower than your rate target for new coding. If this is the case, it makes sense that the new file is bigger.

It would be better to start with a high quality AVI if possible. Do not forget that you are compress again when you transcode the file, so in order to maintain the quality of the source, you have no choice but to encode with very high throughput. If you start with a source of high quality, you can reduce the speed of transmission during the encoding of the flv/f4v

  • I am EXTREMELY disappointed in conversion of Sonos.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed by the outcome of Apple / conversion of Sonos.  What really upset me, now, is that for you is completely useless.  All songs ever.  They play a minute or two and move on to the next and she finishes ever and so on until, after about 10 minutes stops just of transmission...  And yes I installed the last "fix" today who was supposed to address issues of Apple.  NOT.  And no don't tell me my network is watered as Pandora works beautifully.  At this point, I'm ready to scrap of Sonos and get some wireless speakers and run music Apple out of my Mac.  This is quite unacceptable. I don't get no no only error message "the song is not encoded correctly." when I run the error log.

I've been using Apple music since the beta on Sonos. The same problem happened in October happened to me just yesterday. I don't know that they're going to fix it as soon as possible a lot of discussion about it on Sonos Council too. But really annoying because we love our Sonos.

  • How do I batch convert Quicktime mov to avoid (conversion)?

I understand that sometimes in 2013 10 Quicktime for Mac has begun to force the conversion of .mov who were in a format inherited to a new format.  The way that is currently done in when I open a file with quicktime, it takes a significant amount of time to convert it, and then I have an option to save him.  Nothing new here, and I have read other forums on why this happens.  I would like to batch convert all my old .mov simultaneously and will save the files to a new format for a new folder.  How can I do that quickly, easily, and cheaply?  I tried to import them into the new iMovie thinking it would automatically give them but they do not.  I want to avoid opening several thousand .mov individually in quicktime and save them.  I have OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 and a 13-inch Macbook Pro 2012.  Thank you.

I would like to batch convert all my old .mov simultaneously and will save the files to a new format for a new folder.  How can I do that quickly, easily, and cheaply?

Under the Mavericks, Yosemite and El Capitan, the structure of "Convert" used by the QT application X Player are accessible by the user at the Finder level. This means that any file or files selected in the Finder window can be converted separately or in a set a certain target parameter using the option "Encode the selected video files" found in file 'Context' menu. In fact, this menu allows the conversion of target user for the quality of ("compatibility") standard h.264/AAC, h.264/AAC 'Higher quality' or Apple ProRes 422/LPCM, modification of quality files at 480 p, 720 p or 1080 p resolutions. If the source files are not supported by the codec of your current system configuration, but are supported by the FFmpegX codec package (e.g., codecs that are supported MPlayerX, NicePlayer, Perian, VLC, etc), then I personally recommend the usefulness of free Handbrake with his novices presets and manual advanced functions as a batch converter to third party targeted QT OS/IOS/tvOS MP4/M4V files. However, most of the existing files can continue to be played in VLC, MPlayerX, NicePlayer, or the Player 7 QT with Perian installed if you prefer not to perform a conversion.

  • Card NI DAQ for SinCos encoder?

We have a RON285 heidenhain encoder that uses signaliing 1Vpp for "infinite precision".  Essentially, it generates two differentials Sin / Cos signals angle and the phase between them allows you to achieve extreme precision for the angle of the encoder.    You must always send two signals with a comparator hysteresis to essentially convert the signal quadrature encoder and count the pulses.  Calculation of phase angle gives you the fractional precision.

    (1) no matter who never used a capture card of data OR to read in the first tensions and make the calculations necessary to convert the singal SinCos until a high precision angle? If so, you are ready to share the code?

    (2) make the SinCos--> Quadrature conversion on the card itself by splitting off the two singals SinCos in two other channels and specify these two channels is coded quadrature singals or do have external hardware do the comparator + hysteresis before it captures in the map?

    P. S.

I just found this piece of hardware that does exactly what I described in #2 above, I get this same functionality using just the DAQ itself card?  http://www.motrona.com/SinCos.html

The pointed inline Heidenhain WHAT JB interpolator is exactly the kind of thing I used other suppliers.  Yes, you can introduce digital quadrature channels in a meter and other synchronization maps DAQ in a PXI chassis.   9 kHz in quadrature frequency is easily manipulated by the jury.

Setting the "pulses per rev' to 360000 and choosing degrees for units should cause the task to do the math for you, for example, when you call DAQmx Read values should already be adjusted to degrees.   Personally, I do always some reason check this scaling value to make sure that there is not a factor of 4 gap because of the differing terminology between encoder and DAQmx tasks sheets.

As to limit yourself to the Tween 20 x, I tend to agree.  If the Encoder error has been distributed randomly, I completely agree.  But because much of it is probably more systematic than at random, there is a * chance * as some other fractional resolution might be useful.  Probably a pretty small gain at best however.  Unless it's quite similar cost & time probably, I wouldn't bother to > 20 x.

  • Encoder with PCI-6122

    Hello

I have a card PCI-6122 and I would use one of the counters like angular encoder, but I got the code of error-200431. Is it possible to use this map against as encoder?

    Peter:

    Two main ideas:

    1. If you have unidirectional movement, you could set up an edge counting task and do your own conversion of angle.

    2. you should be able to configure your task to HAVE to use a digital TTL input as its sample clock signal.  If your encoder signal is TTL,

It wire pins of the PFI input card and configure the task of the AI to use this entry PFI as the sample clock.   Furthermore, cela

makes the edge with a little pointless, as the number of samples captured by the task to HAVE it * is * edge County.

  • A measure of speed high speed with encoder in quadrature and NI 9401 on cDaq

    Greetings,

We use an encoder in quadrature with 360 pulses/turn on the tracks (track A and B) and no trace of Z to measure motor speed at startup. Data acquisition, we use a NI 9401 in 9178 cDaq chassis and a pc with LabVIEW. The problem is that the start-up period is relatively short (less than 1 second), during which we measure speed as precisely as possible. The speed range is from 0 to 10000 RPM.

What type of measurement method that you would recommend.

Here are a few methods that we have already tried:

-Measure with DAQmx CIFreq--> high frequency with 2 counters: speed measurement, but with a very big mistake (+ 166 RPM).

-CIFreq DAQmx--> wide range with 2 counters: good speed data but more slow measurement,

-CICntEdges DAQmx (counting separated the two lanes, speed conversion): very incoherent speed data.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Matej

I would definitely say a 4, the measure of a low freq called option with 1 meter.  (Frankly, I've never been

fond of this name because it is useful for freqs much higher than what I expect most people think "low freq".)   This

is the method that I almost * always * use for frequency of counter measures.  It works really well to capture transitional

    variations in speed.

10000 rpm and 360 cycles/rev, you are looking at a maximum frequency of 60 kHz.  The frequency measurement mode 1 meter

There will be 80 MHz internal clock by encoder cycle edges, then you will get more than 1000 strokes per measure.  The point

that means only 1 number of quantization errors, you can expect<>

Further, you can average overall, say, 10 samples to you give even better accuracy and you could still be a data capture

rate significantly higher than the probable bandwidth of your mechanical system.  (The average would just clean the jitter and noise and would not

    Hide answer true mechanical characteristics).

  • iTunes more... the conversion to MP3?

I recently bought an iTunes Plus song because I read that since iTunes more is without DRM, should it play on my Sansa Fuze. However, that is not download in MP3 format. I searched for more information, and people have said that if I have an iTunes Plus song, I can convert it to MP3 format. I just have to right-click the song in iTunes and it will say convert to MP3. However, the only conversion it offers is "Create AAC Version". I checked the song via Windows Explorer, and the song is in M4A format. How can I convert it, and someone else has this problem?

Do not burn it to a CD. The only thing that can tear and keep the tags is iTunes, and it will just re - RIP format m4a (at a lower rate than the original!). The reason is this: your import format is defined in AAC format. You just need to change this.

Go to Edition-> Preferences, click Advanced, and then lower the import change tab 'Import using' to MP3 encoder. I would recommend that you change the setting to a setting "Custom" of 256 Kbps and check "use Variable Bit Rate.

Then when you do a right click on the song in iTunes, you should have the option "convert selection to MP3". It will give you two copies (a m4a, mp3) in the same directory. You will need to make sure that you get the good copy on the "rocket" and do not get the AAC copy (which will be just wasting space on your rocket).
