  I would like to use stationery to say my favorite styles, then use 'Paste without shaped' to allow the formatting that is currently in force to apply to the text pasted, not knowing everything already set the imported text. A weakness of Thunderbird in its native form, is that it tends to forget to insert your policy chosen by default etc.. The add-on stationery that heals by making your explicit requirement.

  Messages sent by users of Thunderbird often appear ugly serif text (IMHO), what is lacking Outlook, Thunderbird forgets to say that you have chosen a sans serif font when composing.

  Without stationery, all your efforts to align your text can come were reduced to nothingness.

  I'm still pretty new in indesign and am self-taught so feel I missed some of the small tools that make life easier.

  Such a problem that I'm having is that when I import text in my brochure, I create, I need to format the same as the rest of the text in my project. Y at - it a simple way for me to copy the style of formatting in the rest of the document, or do I have to choose the specific font, color, size and justification, every time I import a new text?

  I know, in Microsoft word, for example there are a specific button that copy the formatting of a section of text to another, is there a similar kind of button in indesign?

  You can use the Eyedropper tool to copy type attributes. But you are probably much better learn to use paragraph Styles and apply them systematically. In this way, when you need to make a change, all your paragraphs will update in levels.

• How to convert a PDF file to the format letter rather than A4 size?

  I'm a little frustrated.  I'm trying to convert a PDF to a Word, format letter size.  Instead, it uses by default a format A4.  How can I change the default setting?  I use Windows 7 Professional.

  In Microsoft Word, there is a function called 'Format Painter'. I'm looking for a similar function in the text editor of Thunderbird.

  If the fields in the highest group are scattered.

  Then simply place this field in the expandable frame (say R_1) whose source is the query group letter_head.

  You can place other extensible frameworks related to the basic salary, HRA, etc inside frame R_1 and letter_head group fields can be placed one on top and one after the other frames repetitive as required.

  I have the Deskjet Ink Advantage 5525 and I want to copy paper A4 size documents but a problem the printer is to copy only the format letter resulting missed parts of my documents.

  will COPY the settings and options for paper size I have no A4 option! just to choose between 3 options by default:

  -Letter

  -4 x 6 inches

  -5 x 7 inches

  is there another way, need me to change the size of the A4 copy?

  Try first to change the Country/Region setting in a country that uses A4 (default for U.S. letter, but for example, UK should be A4)

• Editor Windows Mail problem: copy the text only - no formatting.

  I send each week a report that contains digital data tables.  I used to copy the report from the previous week and simply insert new numbers (most of the entries are zero, so there is relatively little that really needs to be changed).  Then, a few weeks ago, when I copied the previous week report, none of the formatting got - just text copied.  And it's a terrible mess because all the columns compressed on the left margin with only a single space between them.  Column headers do not cover, etc.  It's more work to fix this mess only to re - simply type everything.  Once I get a line put in place in the columns, you would think that I could copy it as many times as necessary to re-create the table - then go back and fill in the changes - BUT NO!  Everything I copy is copied without any formatting being recorded.  What used to take me a minute or two now takes half an hour.  HOW CAN I MAKE THE COPY OF THE EMAIL AS WELL AS TEXT FORMATTING EDITOR?  I think that this problem started with the first report, I tried to create after the installation of Internet Explorer 9.  This is perhaps related to my problem.

  I bought a printer HP M125a (print, copy, scan), but I have a problem with the copy of Pages A4.

  When I put my A4 paper in the scanner to copy, laser scan only my printer from start position LTR (letter) is the result of 2CM at the bottom of my main A4 sheet not copied.

  Notice: When I analyze a picture to cumputer I don't have this problem and al of my scanned image, but a copy.

  I think I need to change the format of paper copy or print settings. I put all paper sizes in 'Control panel-> devices and printers' A4, but my problem not solved.

  On the start menu, open the Printers folder and open the Toolbox of the HP device.

  In the 'System' tab select copy settings and change the format of A4 paper, then click on apply and confirm the changes.

  I see that you are having problems to copy output.  I'd love to try to help you, but I need some information first. I'm a link a few HP Support documents below that will show you how to find what operating system you are using. In addition, if you are using Windows, please indicate if your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit.

  Is the Version of Windows on my computer 32-bit or 64-bit?

  In the meantime, I recommend that you perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

• Only part of the page copy

  Officejet 7500 has aid he will copy only about a quarter of the page.  If you check the preview it is all there, but even after that, it does print the page.  I have been scanning documents, save, then print and it's OK--a pain with multiple scans!  This only seems to happen when copying.

  I tried to re-boot PC and also completely unplug the printer, but nothing seems to work.  Occasionally, it copies 1 page, then back to only a part.  Sometimes she pushes through a blank page, then only prints one page of components.

  There are a lot of black ink, and the colors are about a quarter full.

  REALLY appreciate a solution to this.

  From the Control Panel, click on the icon to copy, then click on the settings button.

  Check that resize defined as actual size.

  Also make sure that the paper size is set correctly.

  Locate all as new values by default, click Yes to confirm and try to copy again, you see no difference?

  If this is not the case, click on the configuration icon and select Tools, then select restore default settings, which should restore all copy the settings to their default values.

  Be aware that it can restore additional parameters, such as the fax settings to automatically answer after 5 rings, if you use the fax, please let me know your requirements (e.g. fax uses the same line as your phone, you have an answering machine or voice or no e-mail service, according to the present I will provide the steps to reconfigure the device properly to these requirements).

  I know that with the eyedropper tool, you can choose a color and copy it somewhere else but I read it must also collect format attribute s (characters, the font size, color, etc.) and apply it to the rest of the text. However, it seems that this is not an option in my mac. Whenever I try to copy text attributes, it only takes the text color (usually black) and not the format.

  Also when I double click the eyedropper icon I get not the Options menu of the pipette, where you can choose the contour settings, fill, character, paragraph & object but just the Options menu of color theme where I can only tick ' ignores the opacity and other effects applied everything by choosing colors '.
