Copy problems
I have a HP LaserJet M1319f MFP. The printer seems to work correctly when printing from Word, etc. The problem is to copy. One side of the paper off is lighter than the other. Is it a problem that I can fix it? Like new light scanner? Or what please?
Tim
I put a new toner cartridge. Looks like it has been. Sorry for all the trouble. I should have tried that before, but that she was fairly recent.
Thanks for your help.

HP Officejet 8600 scanning/copying problem
I have a 8600 all-in-one who recently stopped being able to scan or copy. When you run a scan/copy, the page just comes out with vertical lines and black space. I added a screenshot of the results of the analysis, but a copy gives the same. Please help if you have seen this before. I perform firmware updates and gone through the process of resetting due to disconnect.
Rob, sounds like you are having a problem with your analysis. To open, what happens when you make a copy? That will let me know if this problem is hardware related or associated software. Then I know who will be the best way to proceed.
Let me know how it goes and I'll get right back with you! -
HP Officejet Pro 8600 more on glass copy problem
When I try to copy on glass, the bar scanner does not move to the far right edge so it cut about 3 inches from the top of the copied document. Scan from document feeding and sending items to be printed work very well.
Hi @MKortan and welcome to the Forums of HP!
I understand that you are having problems to copy. I would try to help!
What size of paper do you use?
I recommend you to perform a power reset the printer. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.
Also, try to plug the power to the printer into a different wall outlet.
I suggest you then update the firmware of the printer:
Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

Hi all
I have an officejet pro 8600. He developed a failure when scanning and copying only. It prints very well. When scanning/copying in black and white I get only a series of black lines vertical, probably 100 or more, arranged like a bar code. When you use the color I get 3 or 4 vertical lines in cyan. I do not hear from the current page scanned/copied. I suspect the scanner itself is faulty, but any help would be received with gratitude.
Thanks Steve
Hi Steve.

Sorry to hear you have a problem with lines on your Scan and copy. I got it exactly the same problem with this printer very and I could solve the problem by making a simple step. Now, this will sound a bit crazy and I hope you are open minded. Plug the power cable directly into a wall... pretty crazy huh? HP printers have already built in surge protector, and if you have connected it to a power supply/Strip bar, the printer will get all the power it needs to function properly. You are probably currently you are yourself, "Ive always had this printer connected to a strip/Bar and have never had any problems. Well, let me tell you that you probably had issues with the printer that only they were issues that you would not notice. Brightness, the screen feel slower, a little more time to get out of the way 'sleep'... that are just a few things that could took place in the Strip bar. Just so you know I'm not send you smoke signals, this is a document that shows all the questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. Now, if this does not resolve your problem, I need for you to let me know so that I can give you other possible fixes for this issue.
I'm always here to help then feel free to write again.
Thanks for your time Steve. Let me know how make you out.

Hi all:
I have a problem that suddenly appeared last week. I can no longer copy DVDs on an ISO file using my internal or external burners. I had just earn 8.1 at the time where this has occurred first, now I also earn 10 put in place on a dual boot, and I do not installed driver or firmware updates before that happened. I ran a scan sfc of the side 8.1 and 2 or 3 errors could not be repaired. The strange thing is when I tried to create an ISO file win 10, the operation failed there as well. For the software, I use BurnAware Free and I did about 10-15 ISO without any problems before this files. I tried to find a decent free ISO creator to Midway to check error, but they are quite hard to find. Another thing, I also had bad to burn copies as well. Do 3 or 4 coasters before I gave up.

problem copying HK photosmart 5510. He can't copy the whole a4 page. lower part is missing.
Hello thomasylam.
Try changing your printer is set up for the country.
Installation - Set country/region and select a country where A4 is the standard paper format and not letter. Europe / UK should work. Then you might be able to select A4 in the size of the destination for the copy feature.

C4150 printer with copy problems
When I try to copy anything, half of the book is in black. It is from the top down on the right side of the paper. The other side of the paper copy perfectly. No error message appears. I cleaned the screen and restarted the printer according to the instructions.
The printer works perfectly when I send a print from my computer request.
I wish we could have had more successful and I appreciate the update. Probably, there was a hardware problem which was not repairable. You gave it a good effort, but I think that your decision to replace the printer was the next option. I hope everything goes well with the new printer. Good day.

Hello 11540.
Try to reset the all-in-one (turn off and on again).
Then try to copy using the control panel buttons, but open the scanner cover to see if the light is turn on. If this isn't the case, then I'm afraid this is a hardware failure and you will need the service unit.
See you soon!

Photosmart C6830 all-in-one: copy problems
Print a page A4 scan works through the glass. The globe light is on. It prints a solid black copy A4
Black ink has been spilled on under the right of printer cartridge carrier part?
The printer prints OK from the computer. Printer prints photos colors OK.
Hi, you can try the following steps:
1. perform a power printer off.
2 turn on the printer.
3. do not open the scanner cover. During the power up the printer scanner performs calibration.
4. once the printer is in ready mode, you can begin the work of copying or scanning.
I hope it works for you.

No matter how carefully I place a document for copying, he always shows that he distorted. I only had the camera for a few days, so probably missing something. I must say, but the device seems very complicated software to help the setting up and running is excellent.
If you're not careful, closing scanner can sometimes move media to scan to be twisted. I would just make sure that it is in the corner of the bed and close the door slowly or use the ADF and make sure the paper guides are well adjusted.
I'm glad that everything is supported!
And just to let you know, if you think I did a good job, you can provide me with congratulations by clicking on the star above at left as a small token of thanks or mark tread as solution provided so that others with the same issue can easily see how you solved it
Have a great day!

Toshibia e-studio200s start-up of the printer/copier problems
Whenever I start the Toshiba E-studio 200 s printer/photocopier, he has started making a rattling noise that continues for 7 minutes.
After this, then warms, it keeps turning off for a split second only to 'warm up' again, and he continues to be on. If you connect via USB to the computer, it keeps "connect and disconnect" every 5 seconds.
The printer has stopped saying that. Another concern is the fact, that it happened at a time of our same-type-Toshibas.
Can any help?
Hello Nin
Please don t understand me wrong but its forum for computer systems and I put t think someone here can help you with this.
In my opinion, you need professional help with this. How old is your printer?
Have you tried to contact some Toshiba so far? -
Copying files between hard drives problem
Hello
I have problems copying files between hard drives on my computer. I was having this problem on Windows 7 and Windows Vista, but never met him on XP. It seems that there are several similar topics, but I think I've noticed a few oddities in my own experience...
I have several drives, between 500 GB ~ 1 TB. Problems arise when I try to copy a folder with a large number of files (pictures, records about 4 GB in size, typically). Initially, the transfer rate would be HD burst speed, somewhere between 90 MB to 150 MB. Speed would be reduced to about 30 MB, or even lower. The transfer ends by becomes so slow that the operation would take hours to complete. If I try to cancel, it would take minutes to do. The computer run slowly for a long period of time, with an offset of intermittent until I have to reboot the system. This occurs regardless the source and destination drives.
On some Samsung drives, this problem is actually lead to the corruption of data on the source and destination drives and i/o error messages. CHKDSK runs at startup, try to solve the problem, but the data would be lost or unreadable disc. I have since thrown the Samsung WD drives, do not have IO error, but the file copy problem persists. I also disabled chkdsk at startup for all readers.
My drivers and Bios are up-to-date. Computer is free of viruses and malware. I have no more trouble with Windows 7. Curiously, if I compress my folders/files in one RAR file, I have no problems copying (transfer rate remains stable at 30 ~ 50MB). This leads me to believe that this is not a hardware problem, but a problem with the Explorer of solutions, and that respect more particularly with the number of files transferred rather than size. (But unpacking these files also lead to poor performance sometimes...)
Is this a known issue that will be corrected? I really like Win7, but because I work with large number of files and many backups all the time, stability during the file copying is a must. I have perhaps to go back to XP, or use another OS entirely...
I had the same problem;

I was getting speeds of transfer of a maximum of 500 / 600 KB/s between the hard drive and network storage drive. I went through a number of * fixed * on the web without success, however, I disabled "TCP AutoTuning" and "RSS" rebooted and voila, I now get speeds of transfer of 9-10 MB / s and from the network drive.
The fix
It should be noted that, in addition to this, I have updated to the latest updates for Windows and off the DRC in the Windows Options under programs/features.How to disable TCP AutoTuning and receive scalability side
- Open a prompt with administrator rights.
- Type the following commands, and press enter (the second command on RSS is optional):
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel = disabled
netsh interface tcp set global rss = off - Restart the computer.

Problems copying files on the external drive via Windows Explorer (Windows 7)
I have intermittent problems, but that gets worse when you try to copy files/folders on external HD or a Memory Stick via the Explorer W. It happens more often with major issues and seems just to lock up with little or no reproduction has been made.
Is this a known error I hope be solved via W update?
Is there an another wau to copy is not using the Explorer W?
Thank you, in advance, for any advice.
Run a disk error check on all players used to ensure there is no format/disk etc. on the disc error. It find or correct errors?
If the check has not helped, then re-create the Explorer copy problem, then some time after, open the event viewer, as shown below.
When "Event Viewer" is open, click on "top of viewer (local) event progresses in the window and"summer event of the administration"in the central panel, is there 'critical' or 'errors' contained in the last hour?" If so, what are they?
Open the event - viewer http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Open-event-viewer#1TC=Windows-7
If there is nothing wise of the error listed then as a test, try to start as a "clean boot". The problem then? Don't leave as a minimum, just boot it use for a test and return to the normal start thereafter.
