• First &amp; AE CC will not launch/answer on the new iMac

  I bought a new iMac the week last in order to realize a video project.

  I'm on OS 10.9 and installed Premiere Pro and after effects CC trials yesterday.

  NEITHER program will complement the launch with the "Admin User" account, which I imported from my old Mac, but they are GOING to launch and operate very well in a NEW account "Admin User" as a test, I created.

  I ran the Adobe CLEANER, uninstall and reinstall BOTH programs and the Office of Adobe of CC. No luck.

  This is what happens:

  First spend a few minutes trying to run... and then fails.  The graphic launch is sitting there for a few minutes, then it looks like it could make progress.  "ExporterQuickTimeHost.bundle" hits the progress screen, loading and after 30 seconds of this 'Adobe Premiere Pro CC close unexpectedly.' "."

  After Effects gives an error at launch

  "After effects warning: cannot rename the file ' / users/drleek/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.1/Workspaces.2147.1407351242514081.xml' to 'Workspaces.xml'. '.

  with an additional error

  "After that the effects cannot continue: unexpected failure during the application startup.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Not sure if you already have the correction of a problem, but I had the same problem you described and managed to find a solution.  I tried all the troubleshooting steps described in this discussion; deleting the prefs, uninstalling, re-installing, etc..  and the answer was to go to the folder in the prefs/users/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.1/Workspaces.2147.1407351242514081.xml' and to set the permissions to allow read and write for all users on the machine on the main folder of 12.1.  I should add that I've also run a permissions repair using disk utility thinking that it would solve my problem, but it didn't.  It seems that for some reason any permissions I seeds after having my data migration with migration to my new iMac assistant.

• sticky notes - windows 7

  How can I print copy of sticky notes. I have HPs5610f with windows 7, cannot find a way to print sticky notes.  New to this.  Can someone help me.  Thank you.

  Hello

  There is no option currently in the Windows Notepad that allows you to print the note.

  You will have to copy the text into sticky notes for a processor to base such as Notepad or Wordpad.

  Alternatively, you can copy it to any other text processing that you have installed (MS Word or Open Office Writer).

  It is available freeware that allows you to print from stickynotes as sticker lite.

  Legal notice: I have personally never tried sticker lite so I can't vouch for it.

  DeadManWalking86 although it right technically you can't change fonts, you can go into another application, type a letter, change the font, then copy / paste into your stickynote.

  Now, it will use the new font you have selected.

• Sticky Notes does not open

  2 days ago, I bought a new computer. Yesterday, the program reminder popped up with an error when I clicked on the icon. Later, the icon disappears. I searched my computer and found the Sticky Notes, I had already typed, but when I clicked on it to open it, he wouldn't answer.

  If you go to the ORB start and start typing in StikyNot.exe, at the top of the page, it should show the .exe. I had mistyped above.
  The location should be: %windir%\system32\StikyNot.exe
  (%windir%\System32 is where you installed Windows).

  If you have someone who has Windows 7, you can copy the .exe file to a USB key and copy it to the correct location.

  He should be replaced when you did the SFC/scannow, but since it was not then try to copy from another system.

• Sticky notes do not stay in the same place

  I have Post-it notes on my desk.  When my computer is turned off or goes into sleep/hibernation mode they come but not where I had placed.

  If the problem does not persist in the new user account, this means that the user profile is damaged.
  Try the following steps to try to repair corrupt user profiles:
  Fix a corrupted user profile:

  If the corrupted profile is not repaired, you can use the new account profile as an administrator and still be able to use data that are present in the corrupted profile.

  Also try uninstalling and reinstalling the sticky notes by following the steps mentioned below:

  1. first of all, quit the application.

  2. then, go to the Windows programs and features Control Panelsection.

  3 selectPost - it® digital Notes , and then click the Uninstall button

  4 restart the computer.

  5. follow the same step and instead click on uninstall, click on install.

  Check if the problem persists.

  Create a new user account will not damage your data. Check the steps mentioned below to transfer or move data to a new user.

  To copy files to the new user profile

  After creating the profile, you can copy the files from the existing profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

  1. log in as one user other than the new user that you created or the user that you want to copy the files.

  2 Open Documents by clicking the Start button, click Documents.

  3. click on the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.

  If you don't see the Tools menu, press ALT.

  4. click on the view tab, click files and hidden folders, clear the Hide protected operating system files check box, and then click OK.

  5 navigate to the C:\Users\Old_Username folder, where C is the drive that Windows is installed, and where ancien_nom_utilisateur represents the name of the profile you want to copy the files to.

  6. Select all files and folders in this folder, except the following files:

  o Ntuser.dat

  o Ntuser.dat.log

  o Ntuser.ini

  7. click on the Edit menu and then click on copy.

  If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

  8. Locate the C:\Users\New_Username folder, where C represents the drive Windows is installed, and New_Username is the name of the new user profile you created.

  9. click on the Edit menu and then click on paste.

  If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

  10 sign out and then sign back in as a new user.

  If you have messages in e-mail, such as Windows Mail, you must import your e-mail messages and addresses to the new user profile before you delete the old profile. If everything is working properly, you can delete the old profile.

  The problem may be related to corrupted application files. To solve this kind of issue, I would propose the following suggestions.

  Method I have
  1. open a command prompt to run the following command to repair the corrupted system files.
  (a) click the Start button and type "Command Prompt" in the search box.
  (b) right click on command prompt to run as an administrator.
  (c) Type: sfc/scannow to scan the entire drive.
  2 copy the StikyNot.exe since another available on the current computer operating system.

  If the method above does not help to create a new user account and check, if it solves the difficulty of the corrupted user profile issue.

  Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Communities. Provide the following information:

  ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  ·         You get the error message?

  Follow these methods.

  Method 1: Initialize the reminder of its source folder. The default location is C:\Windows\System32\StikyNot.exe.

  If you can open sticky notes from its source folder, the problem is due to corrupted shortcut icon. If this is the case, you will need to remove the sticky shortcut icon and create a new one starting from the source folder and PIN to the start menu.

  Method 2: Scan the System File Checker (SFC) to repair corrupted files.

  Method 3: Copy StikyNot.exe since another available on the current computer operating system.

• How to transfer the sticky notes

  a pdf created in Acrobat 9 Standard to another pdf file very similar?  I haven't bought 9 Standard yet, but want to make sure that she can do before doing so.  Basically, I create another pdf from a third-party application (AutoCad), but to merge old sticky notes in the new PDF.  Most of them should come out in the same exact spot in the pdf layout, with only minor relocation of some of them.  This will save a lot of time.  Technical support says the program CAN do, but wouldn't tell me how because I had not yet bought!  I need to see before you buy.

  Another option could be to open a copy of the old document and use insert pages to replace the old pages. Annotations must stay put because they are not part of the core document, but are markup.

• Because getting an email that recurs every 5 minutes, we were not able to get the new email, even from block the bad email.
