Cp1252 Txt and other issues

Hi all, before I tell you: Yes, I've seen other threads

Version: InDesign CS4, with the latest updates. (it broke down with and without these applied)
Operating system: XP sp 3, freshly reformatted and updated

Question: InDesign installs well, updates very well, then after 1-2 use crashes. It serves to plant and require reinstalling for different reasons before reformat, now it just gives: "lack required file cp1252.txt" and need to reinstall.

-If I try and uninstall in Add/Remove, it is said that it is already uninstalled.
-If I run the suite cleaner, it says that nothing is there

-Is adobe still clearly in the files.
-It is installed on another computer. end (win 7 I think)


Before reformat, it's the liscencing breaking. The same results happened over him now is something else.

issues related to the:
-T-32 or 64 bit versions has something to do with it. I don't have a program file (x 86), being an old PC, so everything is in the same place...

-Is this a conflict with any other adobe products (only other facility other than what was on the CD of indesign is reader and flash plugins for browsers) or is it just a metter of move the files to the location?

-What is the legality of lighting adobe HQ on fire?

-Is it just my bad luck, or am I doing part of the only handful of people who run these programs very well on an older computer/OS?

It's very frustrating, because I sank more than 12 hours last week (most of it on hold) to the Adobe customer service, and now all of a sudden they say they stopped supporting Cs4. GAH! I run a local weekly newspaper, and this is really bumming me out.

I fully support your reluctance to upgrade. In addition, it is well known that FlexNet is garbage. FlexNet is the protection of the license for another tool that I use on a daily basis, and so I'm really used to fight with her. It's a nasty piece of work, and part of its Magic (TM), is that when someone tries to remove it illegally (to break the protection license, I mean), it falls badly enough to require a disk format hard until you can get back to work. Version of Adobe fortunately does not do this.)

Two questions, one of which is a repetition:

(1) you install an installation program downloaded, or a DVD?

(2) have you tried all the things in this article? Reset rights on files related to FlexNet often works.

    Thank you, in this case, please turn off https scanning in avast, as it is known to cause various problems:

    1. Open the Avast dashboard on an affected system.
    2. Select settings in the left side menu.
    3. Adopt a Protection Active.
    4. Click on customize next to the Web Shield.
    5. Uncheck the option "Enable HTTPS analysis", and then click ok.

  • Problem with iTunes gel preferences and other issues.

    I don't know why, but the week last iTunes randomly decided to not work: whenever I try to open the preferences panel it hangs and release only randomly after a few minutes only to freeze again when I change the tabs. Also, all devices that I connect so that open freezes iTunes, yet once it thaws in itself rarely after waiting an hour or more but crashes again soon after.

    I tried everything short of wiping the disk and start from scratch (not an option to be honest): followed every single link help I found on Apple's site, used several malware scanner, defragmented, made several clean install iTunes and its components.

    I'm on an ASUS N53SV win 10, latest version, all the updated drivers. I don't really know what else remains.

    The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

    The other night, I was dl a game from one of the links you get in games in program files. Everything was fine until I tried to install it then the pc froze.   • Photoshop CS6 will create not instant and other issues

    Recently, I had to update my computer and now works on Win10 (as 7) with the suite CS6. Just put the programs yesterday and noticed a few immediate problems. Two main issues I'm need a fix for and impossible to find on most of the files, I cannot choose to 'Save For Web'... "and now I know why. and when you use the Shift + Alt + Ctrl + E keyboard shortcut to generate a merged snapshot of layer in the layers panel, the shortcut doesn't do anything. I can create snapshots of history in the history panel, but that's all.

    I have checked the forums and help sections, etc.. The option "Merge a copy of all visible layers into target layer" is not available in my program for any reason any. I included a screencap of the relevant section of the default hotkeys for PS (from the photoshop reference guide) compared to what is in my program settings. I also checked to make sure that this control is not just 'hidden' - it is just not there.
    There may be other problems that arise, but for now, that's what I have. Can't find the answers elsewhere... I hope that someone else has had this problem and knows a good solution for it.     Unfortunately, CS6 is no longer supported and is not recommended with Windows 10. There are several posts on things, people have tried with CS6, but most of them seem to be hit or miss at best. Many users have downgraded Win 8 to continue using the CS6.

    I have just installed CS5.5 Adobe Production Premium on my computer and had a few errors pop up at the end of the installation.  I will paste the summary below.   I tried to install Procction Premium a couple of times.  I used the Adobe cleaning tool.  What I did the research, the Flash issue is a false error given that Flash was already installed on the computer.   The rest is connected to the program as well Flash?

    Thr programs all appear to work except for the below question well.

    My other question is that when I'm in Windows Explorer and I am entitled to say a .jpg file and select open with...  I am not able to choose Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for this question.  I have Dreamweaver CS4 and who is presented as an option.  I went through the process of trying to add the Adobe Photoshop .exe file, but it still does not work.  However, if I open Adobe Bridge, I can select Photoshop or Illustrator to open a file.  Is this related to my setup or is there something else?  I uninstall an older version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 I've had for years, but it was prior to the installation of Production Premium CS5.  Could that have caused a problem?  I read that uninstalling an old Photoshop can cause problems like this.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes, your installation errors seem to be false harmless errors associated with the brain dead install Flash. If the programs seem to work fine, don't worry in this regard. As much as not being only unable to open images with Photoshop from Windows Explorer, I recommend you to take this issue to the Photoshop forum.

  • WNDR3700v2 dropped connection and other issues

    So a few days so that I was playing a game on my desktop connected via the ethernet cable disconnected from the internet and I got a metered connection. I noticed that the green light blinking on the modem was green and not flashing and even with the router so I turned my computer off and unplug the modem and the router, and 10 minutes later tried to connect the modem and it is not at all connect up to 30 minutes later. Then today, while using the computer my modem was fine but the active router orange power light and the activity of solid turned orange flashing light but the others were green and after a few minutes limited connection it started working again.

    At the moment I went into the settings on the router and I got a weird message say im signed another device which is impossible because I only have access to the settings on this computer. I immediately changed my password router and wifi password. He had nothing in the logs at all. I have the latest firmware and have UPNP turns off and wide and remote router PIN is disabled. I know that my computer does not have a virus because I just got 5 months ago and I use it only for my mmorpg games and not surfing the web, I use my phone for this. Also I leave only 1 devices to connect to the router at a time to prevent the spread of a virus, if one of them has been infected. My computer and drivers are up-to-date and secure, and so is the router. I tried to replace the modem and the surge protector and that did not help. Strangely enough, it is just started recently and I did not move my modem or router for about a year, so I can't imagine his interference.

    Also, I used to get the attacks back almost one or twice daily random ip addresses so im not sure if, maybe, they broke into my router the or not, but I regularly use virus protection/firewall and scan with malwarebytes and I opened all the ports

    Maybe the router is running out.

    Try to reflash the firmware on the router, reset and reconfigure.

    When you reconfigure, replace all the settings to a different SSID wireless and use a wifi password stronger as well as the connection to the router password.

    Observe your connection.

    I don't seem to be able to disconnect from the administrator on the setting of a standard user account.  It is this way for a very long time.  Is it Ok?  I'm not banking online or buy products, so I think I'm pretty sure.

    The other problem is with a block on my backup utility.  It has already happened and usually disappears after a few months.

    Security software is off at the start and the third-party firewall.  It's ok, as long as I do not initiate a connection and start everything manually.

    Understand that RIM has no unilateral control over the availability of AppWorld. On the contrary, a triad of entities must agree - RIM, wireless service provider, and Government. So, what you can do, is put pressure on your company and/or your Government to allow the AppWorld in your country.

    In addition, you should know that AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld.     Your service provider is responsible for providing all services and support for you. No one else has no control. They need to solve this problem. You have the ultimate leverage - you pay for services they don't deliver. They have the ability (in fact, the responsibility) to escalate your case at RIM for extra support if necessary. You have no free method to request support from the RIM as the escalation of your provider.

    My carrier - Vodafone (Australia) - BIS active

    Computers - Macbook Pro

    After some research on the web all day, I discovered that far East languages is not yet available on the Bold 9780.

    I understand that I must language of d/l a far east of the carrier (mine is Vodafone Australia), in order to read and input Chinese, Japanese, or Korean language on the BB. It's extremely frustrating, and I feel that we're going backward in the field of smart phones - globalization have been an important factor for many bright smart phone users out there.

    I have a few questions, I hope that you guys can provide comments:

    1. what kind of time we talk to have the language support for the far East region? I would never have bought the new BB (probably would have gone for the 9700) if I knew that East Asian languages is not available on the new BB! ?? I know that it is covered by the carriers, but surely RIM provides the build?

    2. as I am a newbie (I just 2.5 years of iPhones), I do not understand the concept (or it's documented all that clearly) to have a 5 device and software OS6? what the devil is the difference, or are they just the same? thinking, maybe this is... but why is already released OS6, but I still see the "last and best Device Software 5" throughout the site of BB? someone help me please understand this.

    3. is it possible that I can load an earlier version of the device software (Vodafone provides a Far - east Pak BB Bold 9700)? I tried several times, after running and unzipped the file in Desktop Manager, the device software is not even on my Desktop Manager (v6). is it because the Desktop Manager detects the version of my phone and does not allow vodafone to 9700 from the list of applications to load software? or does?

    OS 6 is the next generation of BB OS (and there's even chatter on OS7 "out there"). The version the most recent supported by your operator is available via their download portal linked above (but with your conspicuous by their absence model number). OS 6 is now available for some model BBs only (I don't know if it has been released for your template declared BB). But the BONES are never published by RIM to the public... rather only to carriers who must certify and adopt an operating system and then release it to their users. The reason for this fall at the beginning of this post... they (carriers) are responsible for all support... so, they reserve the right to adopt or reject an OS that RIM just to present to them.

    You can use ONLY a bundle of BONES that is your specific model BB number... nothing else will work. A 9700 isn't a 9780, so OS packages are not interchangeable. The best procedure, that I know about (upgrading, downgrading, reload) load a bundle of BONES is here:

    Note that this only works on PC, Mac. But, you are not limited with this procedure, for only your carriers OS packages. You are free to use any bundle of BONES of any carrier until it's your specific model BB number. If you choose to do, then everything just insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML.

  • BSOD of ntoskrnl.exe and other issues

    It is a new construction, new CPU/motherboard, etc, have a new video card. Three hard drives are in my system (1 SSD and HDD 2). I don't really know where to start to look at what may be the issue. I thought it was the video card, so I replaced it, but I still get similar questions.

    The BSOD is sporadic and the question doesn't seem to be the same thing every time, but ntoskrnl.exe has developed a couple of times. What are the possible problems that I might have?
