CP2025dn: cp2025

Printer was attached by connection to the local network and worked well.  Data started recently sent to another LAN printer.  Printer attached via the USB port. I unplugged the LAN, then I removed all CP2025 printer drivers and tried to reload the most recent driver.  The driver software could not find the printer.  He did load when I pointed out the USB connection.  Printer now prints correctly, but provides the message "Unable to communicate with the printer."  I guess that means it's more a message to the computer after having printed so it can show the ink levels and other.

I did not remove the printer from the network connection page.  Any ideas?

This is not a hardware problem since you can print.  If you have the original disc supplied with the look of the printer for a program on the disk called scrubber.exe.  You delete the printer and you then run the program to remove all the registry and other entries for this printer.  I would then connect the printer to a different usb port on the computer and it should say found new hardware and load the software automatically for the printer.  See if it works.  Your problem is software, not hardware.  See the link below for assistance.

    Just replaced my printer laser jet CP2025 with a replacement from eBay (given that it works!)  Previously used one daily for a few years without problem, it of the same model but keeps saying printer idle or not connected, even if it has been folded and selected on the screen.  So, I deleted all of the printers in my preferences that I had amassed 6 different printers and use only 2 BUT now cannot add any back? I use OSX El Capitan on an iMac 2013 end suggestions would be appreciated

  • CP2025 problems of black smears

    My CP2025 began to make a mark of smear of an inch wide black on the far right of the page.  It seems to only appear on about three page of a print job.  The first two pages will have a slight black line on the far right of the page.  In the thumb a smear soumia there are areas more dark about every inch throughout the brand of smear, almost as a matter of roll or something.  I ran all the procedures of maintenance/cleaning without success. My cartridges are 3/4 full.  The printer is less than 5 years and used short as is my printer at home.  Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

    No, but if the smear is only in black, there must be the toner cartridge. Print something in color, and if a single smear of black, it may be that the toner cartridge.

    Hello, I have a laserjet CP2025, which worked fine under xp. Wanting to get the duplex and black only modes for working with Windows 7, I installed the drivers from http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=3673589&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4063 . I installed the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit) , then the HP Color LaserJet Firmware Update Utility and then off the printer and the computer. Turn them both back, the printer started displaying that it was "updated" then "full update '.»» The smiley face was a nice touch. He did so twice in a row. Now the printer is listed on the computer under a different name, as a universal printer but I can't seem to print more. He printed this morning before I installed the drivers.

    I worked on this all day, (and a lot of research, reading the forums, ext...) so I'll try again tomorrow. If someone could help with this, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

    The computer always seems to communicate with the printer but it won't print from any program that I try. Bafling. Thanks for your help!

  • HP color laserjet CP2025: no color since the Win10 update

    My Win10 system updated itself lastnight version 1607 (build 1439.82). Before the CP2025 (network printer) worked well. Since the update, she refuses to print in color.

    (Built-in menu CP2025 printed) demonstration page is fine: full color

    Windows all prints in black and white. Printer properties are:

    HP Universal PCL6 print

    Color: No.<>

    Double-sided: Yes

    Clip: No.

    Color usage log shows that all the pages/sides were printed in Mono; only one page (the demo page) is reported as printing color.

    How can I tell the printer which is * can * printing color?

    Don't know if this is relevant for your device / driver, but you may need to inform the driver that the device is compatible color.

    I don't have access to a printer LaserJet CP2025 , so what follows shows the device settings tab in the printer properties dialogue for a local Laserjet 1320n printer (which is set up to print with the latest PCL6 UPD):

  • HP Color LaserJet CP2025 is listed as offline

    Our HP Color LaserJet CP2025 was purchased in mid-November 2011 and worked well since then. I have set up with a static IP address and nobody had connection problems or printing until yesterday. All of a sudden the printer is listed as offline for everyone. A restart of the printer will sometimes allow a print job, and then back to offline. Any time it's connected via USB, it works like a charm. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver/printer, I updated the firmware, I ran the utility HP diagnostic print and it says all is well, I have it plugged into the various switches and none of them work. I'm lost and ideas. Any help?

    I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 64-bit, but it did appear as offline on the XP and 7 computers as well.

    I thought about it. I put a static IP address on the printer but no has not store the IP for it on my DHCP server has someone else take the address. As soon as I changed the IP address, it was working fine.

    Problem installing software:

    Windows 7 (64 bit) on printer and custom pc worked fine. Installed the free download of Windows 10 and the problem started. SSD formatted and reinstalled Windows 7. Not able to install drivers CP2025, tried both original CD and downloads online.

    They would not install that it either I have tried. HP pilot program informed me that the system was not enough and that he would cease installation. What is extremely strange, given that the same pc was operational with printer and installed software.

    Any ideas?

    Just for starters I say I do assign assumptions when I write this while I am away feel free to ignore what I'm saying. Also your printer can not work properly with WIN 10 to what is a possibility as well.

    I'm willing to bet that the driver you download is a universal driver. Repeatedly universal drivers do not work like a PCL5, PCL6 or PS driver would be. In some cases when you go to the section drivers and downloads for your printer on the HP site, you can change the operating system to the different versions. Then you can possibly download an older version. If they are universals so sometimes you can shoot the pcl5 or 6 driver on the installation of the software they offer or on your cd. Open the archive zip 7 and in some cases, you can find a folder of drivers with the pcl5 or 6 drivers available.

    Perhaps few things to try.

    Make sure that the automatic duplex printing option is selected:

    Enter the control panel > devices and printers.
    Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.
    Click the device settings tab.
    As installed in Duplex Automatic Two-Sided accessory and then click OK to save the change.

    Now try printing again.

  • Printing fuzzy HP laserjet cp2025 number

    So I got a hp cp2025 who had problems of grinding coming from the transfer belt. So I ordered a replacement transfer belt. installed the new transfer belt in and did some testing of color printing. Squeak has disappeared and the print quality has been good. a few days later I get a call back printing on come blurred.  I came home, and Yes, they were blurred I tried swaping on each toner cartridge and preformed as calibration 4 and nothing. then I finished warrantying the new transfer belt. part is installed come and again a few days later, same issue. anyone has any ideas as what casue I am unsure at this point.

    It is very possible that the replacement toner is bad because there are not oem, and they include replacment shit I hate, but that what they are getting

    I just bought a refurbished Dell Optiplex 755 32-bit with Windows 7.   I have a hp color laserjet CP2025.  The icon appears in the devices & printers as indeterminate, unknown and yet no model. appears correctly as CP2025.  It has a USB connection that loads a driver automatically.  I can't print a page of test etc.  After I powered the system in place initially I was able to print a test page but after 200 or so updates, I can't do anything with the printer.

  • Not full of new cartridges CP2025

    I have a CP2025 and is constantly new cartridges as show not being is not complete.  I buy original HP cartridges which should not be another nine.  I just put a cartridge $ 160 in the last week and is showing empty and my printer has stopped.  It is supposed to pring 3500 copies.  T0 may be 100 200 and now it's empty?  Anyone know what is happening.  I can't spend 100's of $$ on bad cartridges.

    It is a great option.  I didn't know that the printer had the possibility of substitution.

    -Of Document - finishing options NOT checked

    Even when I put the Device settings:

    Installation options - duplexer (for printing on 2 sides): "Not installed"

    & Enable manual duplex printing: to "Disabled"

    All print jobs are always Duplexed...

    You must go into the ToolBoxFX and set "Off" two-sided printing

    HP Color LaserJet CP2025 / Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

    I went through all of the steps outlined on the HP website (has not used the CD of the product, plugged in USB, allow to find the Windows Update driver: the last HP Color LaserJect CP2020 Series PCL6 for 64 - bit indicates in the printer server properties) Windows Fix - it says printer is no problem, only one of the four diagnostic tools/wizards that HP actually provides support this printer (1 out of 4... really!) and only one tool that It is very well... when he's not.

    When I send a job to the HP printer, it does nothing. No job/queue printing is created (the queue is empty... always). So far, a terrible experience... not support for Windows 7 in the basic installation, then any support for this printer HP by HP diagnostic tools. A complete skin... I'm about to go back to Amazon to refund and enter the negative feedback to warn everyone who could expect the support of Windows 7 now and certainly support by HP of the diagnostic tools and of the "wizards" for a real product, HP.

    Someone out there has a similar problem and more important still, a real solution.

    I've tried everything that (before), but I tried again... and not luck. So, I gave up trying with USB and figured out how to use direct Ethernet to my PC. There is no instructions with the printer on it good... seems they are focusing on the use in a LAN environment against a small home/office network. But it works now. Thanks for trying.
