Crash when you click some links (I crash report #)

FF hangs when you click on a link (sometimes random links, but can be reproduced reliably). It happened when trying to submit the issue of the accident.

Easy way to reproduce:

Visit: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/04/090418084813.htm

Scroll to the end of the article, click on the link to "" more information is available on: http://www.microtransat.org/".

Which should cause the crash.

Alternative method (if you want a reliable site):

Ask a question of accident on this website (mozilla), click on "Click here for detailed instructions" in the "Crash IDs" section.

Insta-crash every time.

Reinstalling FF, did the trick! I even used my old profile and it works very well.

It seems that the latest update of FF corrupt something.

Thanks for the help! I don't honestly think a reinstall would fix anything, as it rarely does. Here, it's rare treats!

Thank you all!

When you click on a link in a new window AND new tab open. They stack above the other on the desktop slow down the computer. We run OS X EL CAPITAN.

With the recent "update" I'm having this problem too. Navigation became a royal PITA. 27 windows open at the same time? It looks like nobody tested before FORCING the update that does not need to be updated.

  • CHM crashes when you click on links to PDF/word on IE9 files only

    Here's the situation:

CHM file is created with a few links to items of baggage, which are PDF files. I have links in the two topics and live the table of contents.

PC with Internet Explorer 8 or less installed, users are able to click on these links and the PDF file opens.

On PC with Internet Explorer 9 installed, the CHM file breaks down (and worse yet, takes the request that aid was launched since with it).

The error message is: Microsoft HTML Help executable has stopped working [exit].

I tried to create a small project with links to the PDF files and word documents, as long as the files of luggage and external links only, and the same thing happens. I tried on several PC (even a Vista PC which was OK when it was IE8 and not OK when I upgraded to IE). I'm running the CHMS off my PC, not on network drives.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere? I would have thought that other people would have noticed this if it was a generic problem with IE9 and CHM files, but I don't see anyone mention in this forum or anywhere else on google. Makes me think it is something that I did wrong...

One last thing, I have the file as webhelp output and links worked fine.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has a suggestion here.

It was reported and it's really a problem of Microsoft. Link to most any kind of embedded file is causing the problem. The use of PDF files is very common during the construction of a complex aid distribution system.  This issue has been visible since the IE 9 in the recommended Windows updates.  Which covers the last two weeks.

  • The call for a process when you click the link export v4.1.1.00.23

    Version 4.1.1.00.23

    Hello

I have 6 Classic reports on the page.

Each report has link active Export.

I need to insert the set of results that is questioned about the report in a table. Each report is independent of each other.

Each report has its own table to insert the result set in.

My thought was to call a process Page when a user has clicked on the link export, but the process is not known. I put: apex_application.g_print_success_message: = 'Insert '; in the process of the Page to tell if the process was called. I think that the process is not called because the page is not sent when the user clicks on the link to the export. It is purely a guess.

    What I tried:

Working with just the first report, I created a page element hidden in the region of the report and created a calculation before heading for the region ID.

    SELECT region_id
    FROM   apex_application_page_regions
    WHERE  application_id = :APP_ID AND
           page_id = :APP_PAGE_ID AND
region_name = 'My First Report Region'

Then on the wording of the link for the link export in the attributes report I put:

    < a href = "f? "p = & APP_ID.:124: & SESSION.: FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R & P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID._en - us" > Export CSV - my first data reports < /a >

The Condition, that I used in the process of the Page is:

Point process: submit now - after calculations and Validations

    PL/SQL -: REQUEST = FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R & P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID._en - us

    of course, that didn't work so I tried it - "FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R" | & P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID. | "_en - us

    and I tried it - "FLOW_EXCEL_OUTPUT_R" | : P124_ESSCSD_REGION_ID | "_en - us

    None of which worked.

SO, can someone help me with a solution called a process to insert the data in the report, when the Export link is called?

    What information can I I provide/clarify?

    Thank you

  • When you click on the 'Info' to the background action bar button, the application crashes.

    Hello

Recently, we have brought successfully a BlackBerry 10 Android app.

Everything worked fine, except the thing that when you click on the "Info" button in the action bar that appears at the bottom of the screen - the application crashes.

I guess that this button should display a connection, or the help page. In our application, we have such a page (like an ActionItem in the ActionBar).

Yes, is there a way we can fix it, so that when clicking on "Info" button to view our about page? Or at least to do something to prevent the application from crashing, for example hide this button.

PS: We tested the app in the simulator of Alpha BB 10 Dev.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thank you for your comments. In fact, it is a known problem in the current Runtime Android on the Simulator release BlackBerry 10. It has nothing to do with your application, as this action bar fits into the Runtime Android and not your application. Normally when you section the 'Info' button you will see a screen showing you must use the gesture of back scanning used in applications Android Runtime. If you want your own topic button, you need to create your own menu.

    See you soon,.

  • Satellite L300 - 29 X just crashes when you use some of the programs installed

I bought a Toshiba L300 29 X for my daughter (30 years) help in its work of the University.
Since we took this home and installed the OS it is questions. At first, I thought it was to do with Vista and so I bought the upgrade to Windows 7 and installed, but the same issues are there it just freezes when you use some of the programs installed.

I tried restoring factory several times with Vista and still once I even made restoration to the first State to install W7 disk then updated from the web and then she still uses it for his United work and it freezes.

There is nothing wrong with his work United as when using my laptop or even its partners a there aren't any issues or problems.
Programs are in Office 2007 and it is the same copy I have in my laptop and they are both up-to-date.

Its mobile partners is lower than its own specification and has less RAM so that to have only a single processor.
I tried to install the W7 as a 32-bit and a 64 bit OS, and whenever there is any change in the problems with programs

Can someone out there suggest a possible cause or same difficulty for am I at the end of my knowledge on this issue and my daughter is about to throw the thing out the window.

    Hello

I think that the described issue could be related to a hardware problem, given that the laptop should not have problems running the Microsoft Office applications.

In many cases, the s for laptop system could freeze due to a higher temperature.
My girlfriend repeatedly asked for help because the laptop froze too.

But the problem was linked to a higher temperature because cooling fans were clogged and cooling fans might not work correctly. She used the laptop sitting on the couch and there was not a lot of free space around the laptop to ensure good air circulation

I want to say is that there are several reasons for such behavior annoying cell phone I think it would be wise to check the hardware first
This should be done by the technician of the ASP.

I understand when you click a Web link within a site, two Web pages open instead of one. This looks like some kind of Adware and I would recommend looking for malware or reset Firefox (please understand that this will restore Firefox to its default values, and all customizations will be removed in a folder called 'Old Firefox Data' on the desktop)
