Create an indicator of circle

Hello

I'm looking to create a circle indicator which would fill as a pie chart according to the percentage. This would be something similar to a gauge.

See you soon

Simply pull on the circle to draw by the VI RADIUS. Who does all the work.

  • is it possible to put in place a control of the event in labview to create a string indicator when you press a button

I'm trying to implement a user interface where an operator can set the column headers for a report and I use indicators of the string as the placement for the text in the column headers.  Given that many of them will have experience with Labview, I was hoping to set a button with the ability to add or possible delete a string indicator when you press.  Is it possible to set up an event like this?

You cannot create an indicator of the string, but you can change the visibility of the existing volumes.

For example, you can display an indicator of the string, giving the impression that his creating.

  • Creating a circle clear ole

My selection tool automatically creates a circle with a double line (a bit like a circle inside another circle).  I would like to create a unique double circle.  (For some reason my screenshot is not sticky :-().

    Hi virtualista,

To create a circle, you do not want to use the 'Ellipse tool'.

In the toolbar, you should find an oval/circle shape. It may be disguised in another form (for example, a square) you last used.

Simply click and hold down on the parameters form. It should look like this:

With the Ellipse tool selected, you can create cirlces and ovals by clicking and dragging on the canvas. Now 'shift' when you drag, you can create perfect circles.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to create a circle of multiple segment?

    Hi guys,.

I need some advice on how to create a circle segmented as shown in the picture as an attachment. I have it as a jpg, but I want to create it in Illustrator so I could have more control over the parts. For example, while the image shows three segments, I may have to add another in the image (this is the part of a demo of process).

    Advice/help greatly appreciated.

    Carlroundtrip.jpg

    Carl,

You can (all circles are concentric):

    (1) create two circles, indoor and outdoor, and oppose > compound path > make.

    (2) create an auxiliary outside circle, extending outside the extreme parts to make arrows

    (3) create a tip of arrow in the center of the circles; to avoid its pointing outwards (too), you can place its Center (rather than the part which can / base) in the Center.

    (4) move a copy of the arrow by the width of the desired interval, cut to side anchors and remove the base segment (and filling) If you have a path composed of two curved segments.

Movement 5) a copy of 4) at the top of the arrow Tip 3).

6 move 3) 4) and 5), in position with the centre between the two circles (from the average of the rays) and turn all of them as well as the circle auxiliary so that you get all the arrows placed in the right way (120 3, 90 degrees to 4 degrees, etc.).

    (7) hide/remove the auxiliary of the circles,

    (8) hide arrowheads,

    (9) select (Ctrl / Cmd + A) and Pathfinder > divide and remove unneded parts, namely the gaps and the funny thingy in the middle.

Now you have the parts of the circle in a simplified version since they would be without the sides of arrow sticking out (some do),.

    (10) show arrowheads, and then select each with the corresponding part of circle and Pathfinder > unit (or Add to shape area or whatever it is called in your version).

(You can color the parts as desired in connection with 9 arrow/circle) or 10).

  • Can someone tell me please how best to add a circle or an arrow to a culmination of imovie sport on video?

Can someone tell me please how best to add a circle or an arrow to a culmination of imovie sport on video?

iMovie 10.1.2 (latest version) doesn't have a function in the application for the addition of these graphics, or it accepts third party plug-ins to do that.

However, you might find the useful Karsten Schlüter article: How to create a pointer or a title custom

Domingo article explains how to create an arrow or a circle, using the application on your computer.  Open all still in the preview.  Edition/select everything and then delete (on your keyboard).    Then use tools/Annotation of the preview application to create an arrow or circle.  Save as a .png.   Drag your annotation in your iMovie project.  Use the image based on the image of iMovie to overlay arrow or a circle on your video.   Unfortunately, you can not

use the arrow or circle to follow a movement figure on a video.   You would have to use on the scenes where the character moves to the camera, or are underway

followed by the camera so the figure is kept central in the scene.  Or, you can create a still in your video to insert the arrow to identify the figure.

Karsten article also mentions other graphics applications.

  • Indicator registry change?

It's probably an easy one... but I can't reason it. (Relatively new to Labview)  I have a State Machine installation... I wish that my front panel to show what case is currently active.  I think that I need to extract data from the shift register, but do not know how to approach it.   Any ideas?

As this last post was a bit confusing, I'll clarify.

The shift register not indicators.  It's just a memory location that is reserved for your data.  Between the structure of housing and while loop, you have a wire that feeds the next State in the shift register.  Place an indicator here.  If you want to create an easily, right click on the thread and choose "create-> indicator."  This will create an indicator that is updated after each report is executed.  You can get similar behavior by placing the indicator before the box structure.  Your code should be sensitive enough to the user only one of these seems the same behavior.

  • How to copy the data from the indicator table 1 d to the Clipboard

Is it possible to copy data from table 1 d indicator to the Clipboard as a text and for more than one cell?

    I use LV8.6.

    Leszek

Sorry, I wasn't sure if it was available in 8.6, apparently not.

You could create an indicator of fine print and use 'picture to a worksheet string' to complete. Now, you can just cut & paste the text instead.

  • Why this dot on the typedef table indicator strict coercion?

Why is there a constraint on the second point control?

I created a table of 3 trivial elements of doubles and created an indicator by right-clicking on it in the block diagram. It is the control of "CreateIndicator".

Then I did the same thing to create a second indicator on the same wire from the selected Panel and output it he adapted to a strict typedef, saved and applied the changes. It is the control of "CreateIndicatorThenCustomize". There one point of coercion in this regard, if. Why?

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this for me!

Don't get started me on the "point of constraint = copy of the buffer" falicy (hm, I think you just!)

It this case LV says you type conversion non-defed in type-def, who all had there.

  • States to display a string indicator

    Hello

I have the vi state machine and me had created an indicator to display the current state on the front panel to indicate the status of the machine. However, I don't want it can be activated when the user clicks on it. How do I do that? It also comes with a decorative frame that I do not want to display the image. How can I remove the frame?

I thought display just the State of a channel indicator that will fix the 2 questions, but I'm not able to simply connect to a string indicator. Is this possible? Appreciate the suggestions. Thank you.

If you use an Enum, you can use the Format String VI.

  • Remove the fade in tank indicator

    Hi all

When you create an indicator of tank or boolean of money, they are colored with a slight fade.

Does anyone know how to remove it?

    Thank you.

For the tank, you can copy the background and filling of the classic scenes.  Customize the classic scenes, change to tweezers, select background, copy it to the Clipboard.  Close, and then customize the tank of money.  Yet once, select background and choose copy to the Clipboard at the same size.  Repeat for the filling.

    Hi guys,.

I need to create a form of circle, distributed along the path, similar to that on the attached screenshot. I created using the envelope distort/make with Warp effect, but I noticed a small distortion of the shape of circle.

What would be the best approach in the alignment of objects along a curved path?

  • How to create the sunburst effect?

    CCI20151007_0001.jpg
I would like to create a sunburst effect as in the attached picture. I want the torch to be the largest to the smallest (from top to bottom). Please guide me how to create it. Thanks in advance.

Start by creating a form of circle with a color of outline and no fill color. Turn the dotted line and then increase your line width until it meets in the middle. Here is a screenshot. The parameter will be different depending on the size of the circle begin you with that. When it looks good, go object > decompose the aspect and the object > Expand to convert the race forms.

  • Create a 3D in artificial intelligence sphere

    Hi all

I'm pretty new to Illustrator, and I'll have a challenge with creating the look that I want to use the 3D revolution. The field belongs to a logo and should match the color of a part of the logo essentially, but I also want her to have a smooth 3D quality. Hard to explain in writing.

To start, here's the color I want to be predominant in the field:

    color.png

Here's what I come up with so far:

    sphere_1.png

That's as close as I've been able to get the original color, but there is no gradation between shades. Here are the 3D revolution settings:

    Area: Plastic shading

    Light intensity: 50%

    Ambient light: 70%

    Highlight intensity: 95%

    Point highest Dimensions: 95%

    Mix the steps: 256

    Shading of color: black

    And here's another experience:

    sphere_2.png

It's the mixture of dark to light that I'm looking for, but the base color has become much more purple and does not really match the original. Here are the settings for this version:

    Area: Plastic shading

    Light intensity: 40%

    Ambient light: 0%

    Highlight intensity: 100%

    Highlight size: 100%

    Mix the steps: 50

    Shadow color: no

I played a bit with a diffuse shading, but have not yet come as close as these two samples. So basically, what I'm looking for is the basic color of the first sample (perhaps a bit lighter), with the mixture of the darkness in the light of the second.

We appreciate any comments or suggestions, and I'll be happy to provide more information if necessary.

    Sam

    Icon,

To get an appearance similar to that of the second picture with good color (transition), you can:

    (1) create the filling/nostroke circle,

    (2) create a horizontal line from the Center to the right edge and a vertical line half the way (or it where your final appearance, perhaps a third of the way) on the top of the circle.

    (3) select the circle and drag horizontally with the tool degraded the crossing to the edge and the switch of a Radial gradient,

    (4) apply to white at the centre and #0000CC edge (left and right) and keep the cursor on the gradient to 50%.

    (5) hide the lines and turn the circle by 45 dregrees (or whatever that either rotation corresponds to the goal).

You can cancel and set 2), 3) and 5), until you are satisfied and perhaps remove the lines when completed.

To try faster with less control, you can jump 2) and 5) and just drag it from somewhere on the Board (or somewhere else) 3).

You can also set the color as RGB 0/0/204.
